Today, Pastor Jack teaches us that divorce causes so much pain and heartache. It creates a lot of emotional turmoil and can rip a family apart. That’s why a follower of Christ must avoid the traps and pitfalls that can lead to this kind of marital conflict.

The post Life And Bible: Being A Christian And Avoiding Divorce – A first appeared on Pastor Jack Hibbs.

According to Victor Marx, co-founder of All Things Possible Ministries, the biggest threat to America is not terrorism, it’s the lack of fathers. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson talks with Victor about his latest book, The Dangerous Gentleman. They also discuss the trauma that Victor faced as a young boy, and how growing up without a loving father figure affected his life. You’ll hear unbelievable stories of redemption, rescue and resilience that only the Lord could orchestrate. Matthew 19:26 says, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Dr. Stanley explains how we lose our peace but also how not to lose it.

No one wants to experience great loss or tragedy. Instead of trusting God when heartbreak comes, we often question why He is allowing our suffering. Today’s edition of Family Talk will address that pain through a conversation between Dr. James Dobson and his guest, Pastor Lon Solomon. James 1:2-4 says, Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. We pray that you will experience the peace only Jesus can bring as Pastor Solomon reminds us that suffering has a redeeming purpose in God’s plan for our lives.

Today, Pastor Jack teaches us that we need to defend the Word of God on our campuses and promote Pro-American capitalism. This nation was founded on freedom, and all of us, not just students, need to stand up for the truth.

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them who dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, that had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Revelation 13:11–14 KJ2000

Yeah, I suppose he would. I would say that if someone is able to bring fire down from heaven and to do miracles in the sight of men, he’s going to deceive a few people. People are going to believe in and be impressed by what he does.

Now, this one that comes along, this one that has the horns like a lamb and speaks like a dragon is one who, well the Lamb of God is Christ, the dragon is the devil. So we’ve got one who, what shall we say, looks Christian but speaks devilish—one who appears to be a minister of righteousness but in fact is actually working out the devil’s agenda? A sobering thought, isn’t it?

And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, except he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred three score and six.

Revelation 13:16–18 KJ2000

Now, we’ve got a fascinating study ahead of us! This is the famous mark of the beast. You may have heard of it somewhere down the line. What is this mark of the beast? and how does it work?
