This is Discovering the Jewish Jesus and I'm your host, Dustin Roberts. Today, Rabbi Schneider reveals the answers to life's most important questions. life can feel like a maze of uncertainty sometimes and we can easily rush through our days we can get caught up in endless tasks and worries and rarely pause to ask questions that really matter beyond the job titles the social media profiles and like expectations that we place upon others there is a deeper identity that is waiting for us to be discovered Today, Rabbi Schneider, he wants to help us go beyond the surface. And you can learn more about this ministry when you visit us online at discoveringthejewishjesus.com. But now, let's get started.
SPEAKER 02 :
Father, we pray that you would use this broadcast to extend your kingdom, Father God, over the earth. Jesus, that you would be lifted up and glorified. You said, Lord Jesus, that if you be lifted up, you would draw all men to yourself. Satan, we take authority over you and everything that hinders. And now, Jesus, we say that you will release your Holy Spirit and release your ministering spirits to bring all those that you're calling into salvation today unto yourself for your name and your fame. And all of us that are in agreement with this spoke Hebrew and said, amen and amen. Think about the most profound questions in life. Sometimes we're so busy taking care of the urgent, taking care of the things that we need to deal with on a daily basis, getting in our car, going to work, taking care of children, taking care of grandchildren, focusing on our health and all the things that we deal with on a daily basis. Sometimes we lose focus of what is of primary importance Consider for a moment some of life's biggest questions. Who am I? I mean, who are you really? Do you know most of us, if you think about this, spend our lives leading our lives through what we're imagining somebody else is thinking about us? Think about the foulness of that. We ask ourselves, who are we and how do we try to figure out who we are? We try to figure out who we are by imagining what we think somebody else is thinking about us. We don't even know what they're thinking about us. We shouldn't even care what they're thinking about us. But how much focus and how much energy is placed on imagining how we're appearing to other people and what we're imagining they're thinking about us. Is that what life is about? What does it matter what they think about us? Does that determine who we are, what somebody else thinks about us, a person that's nothing, that's going to return to the dust of the earth? And yet many people are trapped in that foul, demonic reality, spending all their time spinning, concerned with what they think other people are thinking about them. And the whole thing is an imagination of the devil. It's foul. It's demonic. Break that off your people, I pray today, Lord Jesus. In your name right now, I take authority by the Spirit of God and the Word of God over the deception and the illusion that is shackling your people, that they're living their lives through the vain imagination of what they think somebody else is thinking about them rather than knowing who they are before you and who they are in your love. So Father, we ask that we would know ourself in your love. You created us. Let us know, Father, who we are in you and let us have peace before you. And so we're asking ourselves the most profound questions in life. We began by asking, who am I? And beloved, who we are is determined by asking the question, where did we come from? If we know where we've come from, which is the second question, then we'll better know who we are. So the second profound question that I want to pose today is this, where Did you come from? Where did we come from? Of course, we know today that people in the school systems are being taught the theory of evolution, not in the sense of, yes, that there's been evolution within species. We know that this happens. We're not talking about evolution in that sense. We're talking about the fact that children are being taught as even many of you have been taught. that they came from a big bang that happened in outer space. I know I'm preaching to the choir now, thousands and billions of years ago, and there's no explanation as to why the big bang took place. The thing to me that's so preposterous about this is God said, let there be light, and there was a bang. I've got no problem with the big bang. But the question is people that don't connect a big bang to God, And I'm not advocating the Big Bang theory in any way, shape, or form. I'm just saying God can use a Big Bang. Maybe when he said, let there be light, bam, maybe there was a Big Bang. But the problem with the people that are hardcore evolutionists that are using the Big Bang theory without it being in relationship to God creating all things, they always have to ask the question, but where did the Big Bang come from? or if they say that life started out as a result of the Big Bang, which then caused a single cell type of a organism to come forth, they always have to ask the question, but where did the single cell come from? And to me, the question always begs to be asked, What was the beginning? What was before that? What was before the Big Bang? What was before the single cell? And there's only one answer for that. Otherwise, the question keeps going on forever and ever and ever and ever and ever. What was before that? What was before that? What was before that? What caused that? What caused that? The only way you can stop that type of questioning is with the first verse of the Bible. in the beginning, God, that God is the first cause. And with all the sophistication of this scientific information that's coming forward, it's amazing to me how the most simple question of all can be ignored, and that is, where did that come from? It had to start somewhere. There had to be a first cause. It had to start with the cause that in itself had no cause. And that cause, beloved, is God. No, we can't understand it. We can't put it in a microscope because God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. And we in our finite minds cannot comprehend eternity, a God who always was. We can't comprehend that. And what pride there is in us to think that we should be able to comprehend it. What pride there is in the individual that thinks that they should be able to put God in a microscope and be able to explain him. That's from a person that's placing himself above God. No, we are the creature, not the creator. And so the only way we can know who we are is when we know where we've come from. You know, in my life's journey, I used to have a lot of contentment years ago as a young person in my athleticism. I was a tremendous athlete in school. I lived it, ate it, drank it, slept it when I was in high school. It was all about becoming state champ in the sport of wrestling that I was in. And you know what? As long as I was deceived into thinking that that was what life is about, I was fine because I couldn't see beyond wrestling as a 15-year-old, 16-year-old, 17-year-old, and 18-year-old. I just thought I was going to become state champ, and then life was going to be one big honeymoon after that. Life was going to be one big party. But what happened was wrestling ended. And when wrestling ended, my world fell apart. And I realized from that experience that anything that I build my life on in this world is going to end. And if I build my life and get my identity from something in this world, I'm destined for destruction because everything in this world ends. If I'm building my life on being a successful attorney or an successful banker, a successful stockbroker, a successful doctor, a successful whatever your profession is, if you're building your life on your profession, guess what? It's going to end. And if your whole identity is based on your profession, if your profession is defining who you are, guess what? What are you going to feel like when it ends, when you're 65 or 70 and your career's over? You're going to be lost, just like I felt when wrestling ended. You're not going to know who you are anymore. You're not going to have any sense of value or significance anymore because it was all based on your career. This is why sometimes mothers struggle so much when their children leave home because their primary identity was tied to their children. You see, beloved, I realized back in the 1970s when wrestling ended for me that I needed to build a life on something that was eternal. I didn't want to build my life anymore on something that was going to one day end. And the way we can build a life on something that's going to keep growing and never end, that comes when we realize that who we are is based on the fact that God created us for His own purposes. And when we begin to build our life in God, we're building our life on something that's never going to end. We're building an identity in something that's not going to be taken away from us. That's why Jesus said, He that builds their life upon me is like a person that builds his house on a rock. Because when life changes and the waves come and the winds blow, you're going to stand because you built your house on a rock that's not going to be shaken. It's not going to be shifted when everything else in life changes. But Jesus also said, if you don't build your life on me, if you build it on your marriage first, if you build it on your money first, if you build it on your career first, if you build it on your looks first, if you build it on your kids first, if you build your life on anything but me, Jesus, what's going to happen? You're going to see. Life is going to change. And when life changed, because you built your house on something that wasn't permanent, you're going to be washed away in a flood. And so these profound questions, who am I and where did I come from? Who you are, beloved, is one that was created in the image of God. The book of Genesis, the first book in the Bible says, God created them male and female, listen now, in His own image. He created He them. So you and I were built, beloved, in the image and the likeness of God. Why? So that we could be in relationship with God. That's who we are and that's why we're here. We're here because God created us. He brought us into existence. And our purpose here, beloved, is to grow in our relationship with them. Jesus said, he that overcomes, he that makes me first and overcomes life, he's going to sit down with me, Jesus said, in the paradise of God where there are pleasures forevermore that eye has not seen, Jesus said, and ear has not heard. Never has it ever entered into the heart of man, the things Jesus said that I've prepared for those that love me.

SPEAKER 02 :
So are you living your life for the world? Are you always looking around at somebody else wondering what they're thinking about you? Are you always looking around wondering how you look to somebody else? Wondering what impression you made on somebody else? Are you living your life, beloved ones, through the vain imagination of what you think somebody else is thinking about you? Now, these are the profoundest questions in life. People can run from these questions. They can ignore these questions. They could try to laugh these questions off because it makes them nervous and they don't want to deal with them. But the question begs to be asked still. And I want to ask you, where are you going to go when you die? Where are you going to go when you die? Who are you? Where did you come from? And where are you going to go when you die? That's a reality. We all die. Where are we going to go when we die? Is it just over? Do we just cease to exist? Is it like we never were other than the memory that other people have of us? Or is there a part of us that continues on even after our heart stops beating and our mind stops working? Is there more to us than the physical body? The Bible teaches that man has a soul and that the soul of man will continue to live when the body dies, when the body disintegrates. And I want to challenge you today, beloved, with this. If what I'm going to share with you today is wrong and yet you believe it anyway, you'll be nothing but a person that's better off from having received God, received the gift of His Son, and living a higher quality life as a result. But if what I'm telling you today is true and you reject Jesus and you die and end up going to hell as a result, it's going to be the most catastrophic mistake you could have ever made in your entire life. You see, Jesus said that he was the only way to God. If when we die, we either go to God or the place that the Bible calls hell, And if the only way to God is through Jesus, you would do well to pay attention. And you could not do your friends and loved ones a bigger favor than by telling them about God's gift of salvation to us in His Son, the Lord Jesus. I'd like to try to explain it this way. If we lead a life on earth that is for ourselves, if we lead a life on earth and we're not living our lives for God, we wake up in the morning, we don't think about God, we get dressed, we go to work, we do our thing, We're trying to get the most we can out of this world. We're indulging ourself in the best that this world can give us, the best foods, the most money we can make, the greatest types of what we feel are going to be fulfilling experiences, and we just go out trying to fulfill all our own desires. What happens is when one leads a life like that, that's on a trajectory, it's on a path that is not Godward, but it's opposite of Godward, it's selfward. It's bent on fulfilling that person's own desires. It's bent on fulfilling that person's own lust. It's bent on fulfilling that person's own indulgences to try to satisfy themselves with the things of the world. than submitting themselves to God. What happens is when that person dies, the motion that their soul was on in this world which was away from God, the motion of their soul just continues when they die in that same path and it just keeps on carrying them farther and farther away from God after death. And Jesus described it as a place in the New Testament of outer darkness where he said there's weeping and gnashing of teeth. So let me say it again this way, the soul that dies that's not in relationship with God, that doesn't know Jesus, the soul that's died, that's in a trajectory away from God because they never bowed their knee to God and made Jesus the Lord of their lives. When they die, their soul continues along that same direction. Jesus said that they end up in a place where there's outer darkness and gnashing of teeth, separated from God forever, trapped in darkness where there's no longer any satisfaction at all. You can't get satisfied in the outer darkness. You can't eat your hunger away. You can't be involved in sexual experiences that will make the lust go away. You can't fill your soul, beloved, which that which will really satisfy because the soul was meant for divine relationship with the one that created it. And so a person that doesn't live their life on earth to be in relationship with the one that created it, God, above all else, when they die, their soul just goes the same direction it was in on earth and they end up being projected, being cast, Jesus said, into a place of outer darkness where there's weeping and gnashing of teeth. On the other hand, the soul that bows their knee to the Lord Jesus on this earth is and says, Lord Jesus, come in and save me. I believe, Jesus, that you are the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to God but by you. I believe, Lord Jesus, that you died for my sin, and I ask you to forgive me, and I thank you for dying in my place. And I receive you now as my Savior, and I receive you now as my Lord. And from this moment forward, I'm going to seek to follow you. I'm going to seek to make you the Lord of my life. I'm going to seek to overcome everything, Lord Jesus, to be one with you." The person, beloved, that prays that prayer and really means it and really puts that into action, their momentum on earth, the trajectory of their life on earth, the trajectory of their soul is now upward. It's Godward. And so when that person dies, that's made Jesus the Lord of their life, what happens to that person is their soul continues on the same trajectory, the same path that it was on in earth. They go, beloved, right up to God and into his heaven, into his paradise. So you can understand what happens in death by understanding it in the way of trajectory. If a person is walking away from God on earth, when they die, their soul continues to be brought away from God into a place of outer darkness where there's weeping and gnashing of teeth. If a person's soul was directed Godward on earth and they were loving God on earth and seeking to please God on earth, making Jesus the Lord of their life, their soul continues on that same trajectory. When they die, their soul goes upward, hallelujah, into the paradise of God. Beloved, I pray that God will make us stronger witnesses. And that if you do not know Jesus, that you'll get down on your knees right now and ask him to save you. It's a free gift. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Beloved, I remember over 40 years ago reading in the book of Ephesians that I had been raised up with Christ and was seated with Him there in heavenly places, and that literally changed my life. It brought me from looking down in defeat to looking up, realizing that I had victory in Jesus. And the same is true for every one of us that are His. I want to encourage you today, beloved ones, if you're being blessed by the Lord through this ministry, to financially support it. The Bible tells us that when Abraham was called to offer up his son and he obeyed, the Lord's response to him was this, because you have done this thing, Abraham, I will greatly bless you. And, you know, Jesus said to us that when we honor him with our finances, it comes back to us pressed down, good measure and running over into our lap. We're instructed to financially support the teachers that are feeding us. I want to ask you today in sincerity and truth, if God's blessing you through this ministry, please honor him with your finances through this ministry so we can continue to reach the world.

Uncover the truth behind the teachings of the New Testament and redefine your faith journey with insights on how to live passionately for the Lord.
SPEAKER 01 :
Welcome to Discovering the Jewish Jesus with Rabbi Schneider. I'm Dustin Roberts, your host, and today we're looking at life's most important questions. So what are they? Let's find out. Jesus himself was Jewish, his disciples were Jewish, and they celebrated Jewish holidays, but they continued to follow Christ. So how is it possible to be Jewish and Christian? Well, Rabbi Schneider, he's going to help us understand that question as he looks at how Judaism and Christianity intertwine together. Today's message is The Foundation of Life's Greatest Question. And if you want to find out more about Rabbi or this ministry, I encourage you, check us out at discoveringthejewishjesus.com. And now here's Rabbi with a powerful lesson.
SPEAKER 02 :
Father God, we bless you today and we love you today. And Father, we know that right now, this second, that you're here, that you're alive, that there's potential in this moment. And so, Father, we ask you to work in our hearts right now. that you will open up our hearts to you and gain deeper entrance into our lives and into your love. Father God, we bless you in the name of Jesus. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, we pray, Father, in our lives, even as it is in heaven. Well, beloved, before we begin today, I want to just clear up a few things. Many times people don't understand what this broadcast is about or who I am. So for the purpose of those that may be confused, I'm a Jewish believer in Jesus. Some may not realize that Jesus himself was a Jew. Jesus in John 4, 22 said to the woman of Samaria that was not Jewish, he said, woman, you don't know what you're worshiping. We know we worship for salvations from the Jews. In fact, Jesus died with the sign over his head that said, Yeshua of Nazareth, King of the Jews. And he's coming back, according to the book of Revelation, as the offspring of David. He's the root of David in his own words in the book of Revelation. Now, when we go to heaven, We're going to be going to a city that we find is called, once again, Jerusalem, which is the city of Israel's capital today. And the Father tells us in the book of Revelation that this heavenly city called the New Jerusalem is going to have 12 gates, and the 12 gates are going to have the names of the 12 tribes of Israel upon them. So our faith in Jesus is a very Jewish thing. Many people are confused. They say, are you Jewish? Are you Christian? Because you can't be both. But the reality is, beloved, you absolutely can be both. In fact, Jesus's own disciples, his first followers were Jewish. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, they were all Jews. The first church in Jerusalem was all Jewish. Again, Jesus himself was a Jew. So being Jewish has nothing to do with whether one is a Christian or not. In fact, being Gentile has nothing to do with whether one is a Christian or not. In the Bible, there were two classes of people. There were the Jews, who were the 12 tribes of Israel, and there were the Gentiles, those that were not part of the 12 tribes of Israel. Being a Christian has nothing to do whether one is a Jew or a Gentile. Being a Christian simply has to do with whether one has made a decision to follow the Christ. Now the word Christ is simply the Greek word meaning the anointed one. It comes from the Hebrew word mashiach, which is the Hebrew word for the anointed one. The New Testament was written in Greek rather than Hebrew because God wanted the revelation of His love through Jesus to spread to the entire world. And the most common language of the world at the time, beloved, that the New Testament was written was Greek. And so let me just back up again. People are sometimes confused. They hear the title of the broadcast, the Jewish Jesus, and they put it at a distance because they think I'm not Jewish, so therefore this broadcast has nothing to do with me. And I'm simply trying to help you understand that nothing could be further from the truth. And so I just wanted to introduce that to you today. This broadcast, if you believe in Jesus, Or if you're curious about Jesus, this broadcast is for you. Now, let me also make this declaration. I heard people say, well, he doesn't believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He just believes that Jesus is a prophet, beloved. Nothing could be further from the truth. I believe that Jesus is the Messiah and the only begotten Son of God. I believe that Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus the Messiah, is the only way to God. I believe that Jesus died for our sins and He's the only atonement that God has made for man's sin. So this is, Traditional Christian Orthodox doctrine. What I'm helping you to do is to understand how the Old Testament connects to the New Testament. You see, Jesus said in the book of Matthew, don't think I've come to abolish the law. For I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill, to fill it up with meaning. Jesus didn't come to start a new religion, beloved. He came to fulfill that which was already prophesied. He is the climax and the culmination of the Hebrew Bible. In fact, the New Testament begins in Matthew chapter 1 by saying this, This is the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. So the first verse in the New Testament brings us all the way back to the first book of the Bible in the Old Testament, in the Torah, the book of Genesis. You see, Father God wants us to understand, beloved ones, how the New Testament and the Old Testament fit together like a hand in a glove. And that's what this broadcast is about. That's what Discovering the Jewish Geist is about. It's to help believers understand the Judeo roots of their Christian faith so that our faith can be established and advanced and so that we can become a more effective witness to both Jews and Gentiles. Now, with that being said, I'm going to be speaking today, beloved, life's most important questions. We're going to be talking, beloved, about the most fundamental issues concerning our relationship with Jesus. We're going to be talking about the simple, profound issues of salvation. What prompted me to preach this today was a funeral, beloved ones, for a friend of mine that died. He wasn't even 31 years old. No one knew he had any health problems. In fact, he had no prior health history. And suddenly, at 30 years old, he dropped dead of a heart attack. And doing that funeral caused me to just recognize how important it is for you and I to recognize how imperative it is that we're living our life in a sold out way for Jesus today. And not only do I plan on helping us to get back to the basics today through this message, but also, beloved, these series of broadcasts would be great witnessing tools for you to give to friends or family members that don't know the Lord. So Father God, I ask you to come today and fill us with your love and enlighten us with truth. And Father, cause us to become lovers of God and radical followers of your son, the Lord Jesus.
SPEAKER 01 :
You're listening to Discovering the Jewish Jesus. And before Rabbi Schneider continues his teaching, he has a special message to share with all of us. Greetings in Messiah on this new year.
SPEAKER 02 :
You know, January comes, we think about things in our life that we want to change. One thing that perhaps some of you have thought about but never taken action on is creating or updating your will or trust. I want to encourage you, go to our website. We have a free tool there, just hit Wills and Estates, and we can help you update or create your will or estate trust gift. Listen, God bless you. I love you. Many of us have honored the Lord while we're living with our finances. Let's carry that over and remember the Lord with our finances when we pass by creating a will and a state so that finances can go to the work of the kingdom.
SPEAKER 01 :
What a meaningful way to honor God with our finances this year. And if you feel the Lord leading you to create a free will, visit us at discoveringthejewishjesus.com. It's free for you whether you support us or not. Now, let's return to Rabbi as he continues his teaching.
SPEAKER 02 :
People today, I think, are lifting up as the greatest moral attribute the attribute that they're calling political tolerance, which is more commonly understood as being politically correct. It seems today that the highest virtue that men are exalting in the Western world is the virtue of tolerance. that we should be tolerant of everybody regardless of how they live, what they believe, that the biggest virtue that we can have as a moral person is to be tolerant. And what people that have this mindset mean by that is that there are no absolute rights and wrongs when it comes to religion, sexuality, and other issues of morality. And so they would say, for example, it's okay for you to be a Christian because you can believe anything that you want to believe. But it's wrong for you to say that Jesus is the only way to God because that, they say, is not being tolerant. And if you say to somebody that Jesus is the only way to heaven and that people that aren't in relationship with Jesus are going to hell, which is what, beloved, the Bible teaches, it's what Jesus taught, then you are a hateful person and you're being judgmental and you're not being tolerant. And they're looking down upon us that are Christians for having an absolute standard. But I want to say today that we cannot back off the Word of God. The Bible clearly teaches that not everybody that dies goes to heaven. In fact, think about this. When was the last time you were at a funeral where the preacher didn't put the loved one that passed away in heaven? Did you ever go to a funeral when the preacher didn't make comments at the funeral as if the deceased was in heaven? The preacher seemed to always put everybody in heaven. But yet that doesn't line up, beloved, with what Jesus taught and what the Bible teaches. You see, Jesus said, straight and narrow is the way that leads to life. And he said, few there be that find it. And he also said, but broad and wide is the way that leads to destruction, and many there be that take it." You see, Jesus taught that more people will be in hell than will be in heaven. Paul speaks about this same phenomenon in the book of Romans when he's preaching the gospel, and so few of the Jewish community of his day were believing. And he cries out to the Lord and he says, Lord, they don't seem to be listening. And the Lord responds back to Paul. He said, Paul, remember the days of Elijah when Elijah cried out the same thing? They're not listening. And I responded back to Elijah that I've reserved seven thousand for myself that have not bowed to the knee of Baal. And then God went on to say to Paul, Paul, it's in the same way at the present time. There's a remnant chosen according to my grace. Think about this. Elijah's calling out to God because it seems like people are not receiving the message, and God responds back to Elijah and says, no, I've got 7,000. But how many were 7,000 out of the millions that were in Israel? Very few. And so Paul comes to the conclusion that it's the same thing today. There's a remnant that will believe. There's a remnant that will follow Jesus. Remember, Jesus said straight and narrow is the way and few there be that find it. The same truth we see in the time of Noah. How many people did God save on Noah's Ark? A remnant, a handful. And so I want you to understand, beloved, that the Bible never teaches and has never taught that everybody is in relationship with God, that everybody's in good standing with God. In fact, the Bible has always illustrated and taught us the opposite, that it's a few people, it's a chosen people, it's a remnant of people that truly are walking with God in salvation and will be saved. It was true in Noah's time, it was true in Paul's time, and it's true today. So something is wrong when preachers automatically put people in heaven when there was no evidence that the deceased loved Jesus. If the one that was deceased never went to church, never prayed, never talked about their love for the Lord, never read the Bible, never sold their finances into the kingdom, and there was no evidence in this person's life that they were a lover and a passionate follower of Jesus, then we have no right to put them in heaven at funerals. In fact, when we do that, all we do is make it easier for other people to go to hell because the people that are at the funeral look at the deceased, and they look at that person, and they say, you know what, I knew that person for 40 years, and they never said anything about Jesus other than when they used his name as a curse word, and the preacher just said he was in heaven, so if he can go to heaven being the way that he was, I guess I can go to heaven, they reasoned to themselves, even though I'm the way that I am, because he was no better than me. And it makes it easier, beloved, for people to ignore the claims of Jesus Christ, the claims of Yeshua the Messiah. But I want you to hear me today. If the words of Jesus are accurate historical record, you and I do well to pay attention. No one questions whether Jesus of Nazareth really lived. All historians are in agreement that there was a person that lived approximately 2,000 years ago, that his name was Yeshua in Hebrew. That was the name that they knew him as at the time. His name was Yeshua, or Jesus we say in English, of Nazareth. No one denies it. Everybody agrees that he was a historical figure. In fact, if you go to Israel today, you'll see all the evidence that archaeology has uncovered regarding Jesus and the fact that he had these followers and the fact that this movement began. No one can deny that. He was a real person. The question is, who was he? Who was this Jesus of Nazareth? We know that he lived, but who was he? Was he a liar? Was he a lunatic? Or was he the Lord? He could have only been one of those three persons. Number one, there's a possibility that it was a liar when Jesus said to them, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to God but through me. He was lying. He knew in his mind it wasn't really true. That's the first possibility. Was he intentionally lying to people and deceiving them? That's option number one. Option number two is, was he a lunatic? Did he think he was somebody that he wasn't? Did he have grander illusions? Did he imagine himself to be the Messiah because he was out of his mind? Was he a lunatic? That's option number two. Option number three is he was who he said he was, He's the Lord. Jesus said, I am the only begotten Son that's come down out of heaven. So option number three is he is who he said he was. He was either a liar, a lunatic, or the Lord. He couldn't have just been a prophet because a prophet wouldn't have made the claims that he made. A prophet wouldn't have said, there's no name under heaven which has been given unto men by which men can be saved, but my name, which he spoke through one of his apostles. C.S. Lewis originally coined that phrase, liar, lunatic, or Lord, but it boils it down to the options. There are no other options. You're deceiving yourself. If you are saying to yourself, he was a good man, he was someone to model my life after. Yes, he was a prophet. If you're deceiving yourself into thinking he was just a prophet, but you don't have to obey him. If you're deceiving yourself into thinking he was just a prophet, but he didn't really die for my sins, he was just another human being. Beloved, you're putting yourself in a position of potentially jeopardizing your soul into hell. Jesus claimed that he was the only way to God, and unless we received him, we would not go to heaven. I want to back this up for a minute. Let's consider this. How do we know about Jesus? The primary way that we know who Jesus is, beloved, is through the record of what he said about himself in the New Testament. So the question we have to ask ourself is this, is the New Testament an accurate historical record of what Jesus really said? The New Testament records for us the things that Jesus said. And so we have to ask ourself this question. When the New Testament records Jesus' words, when Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me, we ask ourself, the New Testament says that Jesus said that, but did Jesus really say that? And can the New Testament's account really be trusted? Well, I want you to consider this. When we try to determine the historical accuracy of ancient documents, we have certain criteria that all historians have agreed upon to determine whether an ancient document is historically reliable. And when we look at ancient documents, some of the criteria that we look at is the people that are writing about this particular person or this particular event, how close to the time period when the historian wrote did he actually live to the person or the event? Now you consider that and compare them to the New Testament. The New Testament was written, beloved, not by people that lived a hundred years after Jesus died, but the New Testament was written by the people that lived with him. For example, John said, that which I have seen, that which I have touched, that which I have handled with my own hands, I proclaim to you. Peter said, we're not writing to you about cleverly devised fairy tales. Peter said, I was with him on the holy mountain when he was transfigured into light and the voice from heaven spoke and said, this is my beloved son. This is not a fairy tale, Peter said. I was with him. Who is Jesus and what does he demand? Who am I? Where did I come from? And what is my purpose on earth? Father God, we pray that you would ignite our hearts with fire. Father, we pray that you would pour your love into our hearts, that Father God, we would love you with such a fiery love that it would consume everything in our life that would get in the way of loving you. Father God, you're the one that's at work in our life, both to will and do for your good pleasure. And Father, we want to thank you today for everything that you've already done. And Jesus, we want to say to you today that we love you. I know that if you have an open heart and you just sat through me preaching, you've been strengthened. God's Word is life-giving. It's living and active and sharper than a two-edged sword. I'm going now as we close today, beloved ones, to the book of 3 John. I'm going there to the first chapter and the eighth verse. Hear the Word of God. John says, therefore, we ought to support such men that we might be fellow workers with the truth. What was going on here is John was encouraging God's people to support those that were faithfully preaching the gospel. Because you know what? The gospel can't be spread without God's people supporting it financially. I want to ask you, beloved, if you believe in me, if you're being blessed by discovering the Jewish Jesus, would you support us financially so that we can continue to feed you and in fact preach the gospel all over the world. Beloved, there's always a blessing when we put God first in our life. And when we put him first with our finances, it opens our heart to receive more. This is Rabbi Seder saying, I love you. Thank you for your financial support and shalom.

SPEAKER 01 :
Hello and welcome to Discovering the Jewish Jesus. I'm your host, Dustin Roberts, and now Rabbi Schneider is gonna wrap up his study on decrypting the book of Revelation. Don't miss the truth that God has in store for you today. The return of Jesus is perhaps the most anticipated event in all of Christianity. It's a day that has been prophesied and talked about more than probably any other event and definitely longer than any of us have ever been alive. what will his return actually look like? Well, that's our topic today as Rabbi Schneider explores the events surrounding this auspicious day. So let's get started with his message titled The Return of King Jesus. Here's Rabbi Schneider to explain the end of the age.
SPEAKER 03 :
I'm going to begin today just by offering up a prayer on behalf of all of us. Father God, we worship you today and we pray that by the power of your Holy Spirit, you would cause your word and your truth to penetrate our hearts and minds and that we would be changed for your glory. In Jesus' name, amen and amen. Beloved ones, last time I was talking about Armageddon called Harmageddon or Harmageddon. This last great world war will be the climax of world history as it pertains to God finally stepping in and making peace. things right. Because at Armageddon, God is going to defeat his enemies and then establish his kingdom on this earth that he has made for his glory. You know, if you think about it, when you look around and you see the beautiful birds, see the blue birds, the red birds. I mean, you look at some of the tropical birds with all the colors of a rainbow in their feathers. I mean, beauty beyond belief. I was watching television yesterday and I was watching a show in which somebody was traveling through a place in California with giant redwood trees in the mountains. It was so beautiful. You look at the ocean, you look at the sunset, you look at the butterflies, you look at the rainbow. I mean, God's beauty is so evident on the earth. That's why the Bible says everybody knows there's a God because his eternal attributes and glory are clearly seen in what he's made. In other words, when we look in the world and we see God's divine intelligence in creation, that the birds know how to fly south when it gets cold in the winter, that the human body has built-in divine intelligence so that when our body begins to overheat, what does it do? It has a built-in intelligence so that it begins to perspire to cool our body back down. Or when we get an infection, what does our body do? It begins to create antibodies to combat the infection. There's so much intelligence in creation that everybody that is open and honest to the truth will be able to easily discern that there's an intelligent designer beyond creation. So doesn't it make sense that the one that created this world will soon step into it and reign over it? See, the Bible tells us that when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, that what happened was a disconnect resulted from that between God and the earth. And we are living in that time of disconnect now, although Jesus has come. And the kingdom of God is here, but not in its fullest form because of Jesus. But at the end of Armageddon, God is going to step into this world fully and exert his authority over the earth and reclaim his creation. And once again, listen now, sovereignly reign over the world. This is why it's important to understand that this last great world war called Armageddon is actually part of God's design because God wants to step back into his creation to reign. And so what he's going to do to set that up, beloved, is he's going to gather the leaders and the peoples of the world that hate him to fight him in a final world conflict that is going to be centrally located, listen now, in Israel. It makes sense that Armageddon, this last world war, would find its climax in Israel because Israel is God's land. Israel is God's nation. The Bible says Jerusalem is the great king's capital city. And so it makes sense when God comes to reclaim his creation, this world, that that final world war would take place in his land, Israel. You know, even today, when we look around, we see that, you know what, it is kind of strange that here's Israel about the size of New Jersey, yet it's so important in the world news. There's been so much conflict around it. There's so much intensity surrounding it. And it's always been like this. Why so much activity around Israel? You know, in Israel's history, it's been attacked 52 times, besieged 23 times, and destroyed twice. So much hatred. Even today, anti-Semitism is growing in France and Germany, Sweden, Poland, Austria, other parts of the world. Listen, even... on American college campuses. Anti-Semitism is growing, and it's all building up, beloved ones, to this great world war called Armageddon. I want to go back and read for you today where we find the story of Armageddon. Revelation 16, verse 13. John says, and I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet three unclean spirits like frogs. These are demons that take on creature forms, for they are spirits of demons performing signs, listen now, which go out to the kings of the whole world. So there's this demonic energy, listen now, that's focused on the leaders on the earth. And why is this demonic energy focused on the leaders of the earth? To gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty. And then in the 16th verse, John tells us this war is going to take place at Armageddon or Armageddon. And so this great escalation of the forces of light against the forces of darkness is going to take place at the end of the age. And what I want you to understand, this is God's sovereign design that's bringing it about because he wants to put an end to it once and for all. Just a few scriptures that I want to bring to our attention today that add further light on the subject. I want to go to Revelation 12 today. I want you to further get clarity as to why this time of disaster for so many peoples is going to take place in Israel. Because Israel is the place, beloved, that the enemy's hatred for God and his people is centered on. Listen to Revelation chapter 12, beginning in verse number 13. And when the dragon, and the word dragon in the book of Revelation is a word that is used for Satan. And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman. The woman is Israel, who gave birth to the male child. The male child is Jesus. And then it continues to tell us there in the 17th verse, so the dragon was enraged with the woman and went off to make war with the rest of her children who keep the commandments of God and to hold to the testimony of Jesus. So the dragon, listen, he hates the child of the woman who is Jesus. The scripture tells us in the book of Revelation that since Father God raised Jesus to his right hand, the dragon can no longer attack Jesus. So what the dragon has done instead in his rage is he's attacked the woman who gave birth to Jesus, the woman being Israel. He hates Israel. both believing Israel and Jewish people that don't know Jesus as well. He hates Israel as a nation. He hates the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And he hates the offspring of the woman, which is, beloved, the church. So Satan's primary target today is Israel as a people, the church who came out of Israel, and the land that is connected to Israel.

SPEAKER 03 :
So as we read about this conflict that's going to take place centered on Satan's hatred towards Israel and all that's come forth from her, I want to read a few scriptures once again to set the stage today. I want to begin by going to Zechariah chapter 12, verse 2 and 3. Behold, I'm going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around. And it goes on to describe how God is going to step in there at the last moment. Listen, all the nations of the earth, Zechariah said, Zechariah 12, listen, will be gathered against it. That's the same thing that John told us in the book of Revelation, that God is gathering all the peoples of the world together. to Israel for this last world war. Once again, in Zechariah chapter 12, verse 8 and 9, "...in that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them in that day will be like David." And in the ninth verse, "...and in that day I will set about to destroy," the Lord says, "...all the nations that come against Jerusalem." Let me go on to another scripture here that will bring even further color and revelation. Zechariah 14, 2. I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured. The house is plundered, the women ravished, and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. The scriptural account continues as God stops it. God stops at Zechariah 14, three through five, for the Lord will go forth and fight against all those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. In that day, his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives. And the scripture tells us when the Lord steps in, it's going to look like a nuclear bomb, that their eyes will rot in their sockets, that their flesh will fall off their skin. I mean, when God steps in, his wrath is going to absolutely consume His enemies. Now listen to this, I pointed it out last week, but I just want to drive this point home. When God does step in, where is He going to step in at? Where is He going to first manifest His glory at? He's going to do it, beloved ones, listen, at the Mount of Olives, Zechariah 14, 3, listen. Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations as when He fights on a day of battle, in that day, listen, His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem. Now keep that in mind. When God shows up and all the peoples that came against him, it's like they're totally wiped out. Again, Zechariah tells us it's going to be like their eyes are going to rot in the sockets. The flesh is going to fall off their skin. They're going to be utterly destroyed. God's wrath is going to be released against the enemies of him and his people. It happens where? From the Mount of Olives. That's what Zechariah just got done telling us. Now listen to this. I love this. Acts chapter 1. I'm going to begin there in verse number 6. The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the Word of God abides forever. Listen to the Word of God. So when they had come together, this is Jesus' apostles and disciples. This is after Jesus had risen from the dead, and this is taking place near the upper room there. So when they had gathered together, they were asking him, saying, Lord... Is it at this time you are restoring the kingdom to Israel? And he said to them, listen, it is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by his own authority. So what's going on? They're asking Jesus, listen, Jesus has risen from the dead. He appears to his disciples, Acts chapter 1, and they say to him, Lord, Are you going to restore the kingdom at this time? Are you going to once again exalt Israel and reign on the earth? And Jesus says to them in verse 7, it is not for you to know the times or epochs which the Father has fixed by his own authority, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be my witnesses, both in Jerusalem and in all Samaria, even to the remotest parts of the earth. And after he had said these things, listen now, He was lifted up while they were looking on and a cloud received him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while he was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up for you into heaven will come again in just the same way as you have watched him go into heaven. Listen now. Then they returned to Jerusalem. Hear me now. From Jerusalem. the Mount of Olives. They go from the Mount of Olives to the upper room where they're baptized in the Holy Spirit. But where were the disciples and apostles when Jesus was lifted off the ground and they saw him visibly ascended to heaven? Where did that happen at? It happened at the Mount of Olives. Where does Zechariah tell us in Zechariah 14, Jesus' second coming will first be made manifest? At the Mount of Olives. I mean, I just love the unity of Bible. The same place that Jesus was taken up to heaven from is He's going to return to that same spot. That's why we read in Acts chapter 1 that the angels said to those that watched him go up into the sky and then disappeared into the clouds. That's why the angels said to those that were watching, why are you gazing into the sky? This Jesus is going to return to you, church. Listen now, the angel said, in just the same way. And his second coming is manifest, listen now, in just the same spot. John tells us about this in the 19th chapter of Revelation. Listen, beloved ones, hear the word of God. Now, before I read it, though, I just want you to understand that so much of what Jesus proclaimed during his first coming was his second coming. We oftentimes don't hear much preached about the second coming of Christ, but the last thing that Jesus said to us is, I am coming quickly. And so many of the parables that he told were about his second coming, about his return. Hear how John described it. I'm beginning in Revelation 19, verse number 11. Hear the word of God. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse, and he who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written on him which no one knows except himself. He is clothed with the robe dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following him on white horses. From his mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it he may strike down the nations, and he will rule them with the rod of iron. And he treads the winepress on the fierce wrath of God the Almighty. And on his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords." Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which will fly in midheaven, Come, assemble for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of commanders, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slaves, and small and great. And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against him who sat on the horse and against his army. Once again, to refresh you, this takes place, listen, at the end of Armageddon. That's why at the coming of Christ, we just read about the fact that they're going to feast on, listen now, the flesh of God's enemies, that the birds of the air are going to be turned to feast on God's enemies. You may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of the commanders and the flesh of mighty men because God is going to wipe out and destroy his enemies and set up, beloved ones, his earthly kingdom. I am here today proclaiming to you, Jesus is coming soon. I want you to put your hand over your heart with me right now and repeat this with me out loud. Say this, listen, Jesus is coming back for me. Can you say that with me? Jesus is coming back for me. Beloved, the return of King Jesus is not science fiction. And Armageddon is not simply some sci-fi film. Armageddon is happening. It's going to happen possibly in our lifetime. And Jesus is going to return, beloved, much sooner than you or I think. And we need, listen now, church, to be ready. You may think you're ready, but let me ask you, are you really ready? You may have cleaned up some of the outer things in your life, but listen, are your thoughts cleansed? Is your heart pure? Are you fully committed? Are you disciplining yourself on what you're taking in? What are you watching on television? What are you listening to on the radio? And who are you spending time with? Beloved ones, listen to me when I say to you, Jesus's return is near and he's coming back for you. The reason Jesus gave us the book of Revelation He wants us to be ready for His return. I pray, beloved, that proclaiming God's Word to you today has helped you to position yourself in a way that when you meet Him, you'll be ready and receive into His presence. Todah Rabbah, that's Hebrew for thank you very much to everyone that is supporting this ministry. so that we can continue to teach and preach the Word of God. SPEAKER 01 :
Welcome to Discovering the Jewish Jesus. I'm Dustin Roberts, your host today as Rabbi Schneider explains the mystery of Armageddon. Everything that God does, the enemy tries to counterfeit it and use it for his own purposes. And knowing that, have you ever wondered what will take place during the end times between God and the enemy? What's that historic once-in-a-lifetime event actually going to look like? Well, those are the questions that we're going to unpack today as we continue our study on decrypting the book of Revelation and If you've missed any of Rabbi's previous messages, you can listen online at discoveringthejewishjesus.com. But now, here's Rabbi Schneider to explain this final battle.
SPEAKER 03 :
God bless you today and shalom, beloved ones. Beloved, I talked about the major end time events that John outlines for us in the book of Revelation. I talked about the tribulation, the plagues and judgments that will fall upon the earth during the tribulation. Then I talked about the rapture. Today, what I want to speak of is the tribulation leading up to the greatest world war the world will ever see. It's called Armageddon. Now, during the tribulation, there's going to be 21 judgments divided into three sets of seven. It's the last seven judgments that are called the bowls of wrath, and the church will be taken out of the world right before these last seven judgments, once again known as the bowls of wrath. After the church is taken out of the world, The spirit of the devil is going to begin to so enrage the hearts of the world leaders against Israel and against God's people that they're going to all come to Israel for what the scripture calls Har Megiddo or Armageddon. i want to read for you a very interesting curious and mysterious verse i'm going now to the book of revelation chapter number 16 i'm going to read there verses 13 through 16. now these verses revelation 16 verses 13 through 16 take place get it now right before the last two judgments In other words, this portion of Scripture that I'm going to read for you takes place between the sixth bowl of God's wrath and the final bowl of God's wrath, the seventh bowl of God's wrath. Listen what happens in between these last two final judgments of God upon the world. Now, keep in mind that the only people that are left on the earth At this point, our people that are hardened towards the Lord Jesus and towards Father God. The believers have now been taken out of the world at this point in God's prophetic history. Hear the word of God, Revelation 16, beginning in verse number 13. John says this. And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet three unclean spirits like frogs. For they are spirits of demons performing signs which go out to the kings of the whole world to gather them together for the war of the great day of God the Almighty." Then the Lord says, behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame. And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Megiddo, or Armageddon, Har-Mageddon. Now I want to go back and I want to look at these three verses here in a slower fashion and pull some things out for us here. Let's begin with verse number 13. John says, I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, this is Satan, Satan is known as the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, this is known as satanic trinity. In other words, everything that God does, Satan tries to counterfeit. So we know that in the kingdom, there's the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, right? We're baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Where Satan has tried to counterfeit this, where you have Satan who's just, I hate to even say it, but he makes himself out to be a father. Jesus called him the father of lies. So we have Satan And then we have the Antichrist. And then we have the false prophet. All three of these are talked about in the book of Revelation. So once again, he says, I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, that's Satan, and out of the mouth of the beast, that's the Antichrist, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. And we read in Revelation that the false prophet gives credence to the Antichrist. John says, I saw coming out of their mouths, listen now, three unclean spirits like frogs, and they are spirits of demons performing signs which go out to the kings of the whole world to gather them together for the war of the great day of God Almighty, which John tells us in the 16th verse is Armageddon, Har-Megiddo or Har-Mageddon. I want you to think for a second about this mystery that John describes as these spirits like frogs coming out of Satan, the Antichrist, and the false prophet. What does it mean that these spirits are the spirits of frogs, John said? Well, I've done ministry in the realm of deliverance, helping people that have been infested with demons get free, just like Jesus did. Remember, everywhere Jesus went, he did three things. He preached the gospel, he healed the sick, and he cast out the demons with the word. So that same ministry is on God's messengers today, to preach the gospel, to heal the sick, and to drive out demons. So I've been able, by the grace of God, to be used of him to drive demons out of people. And what I have found in my ministry helping people to become delivered and freed is that demons, listen now, will sometimes take on the nature, get it now, of a creature. In other words, some of you may even had a dream at night or had a picture come into your mind of a demon, and the demon that you saw was in the form, listen now, of some type of creature. If anybody's ever read Bill Weiss's book, 23 Minutes in Hell, he talks about what it was like in hell, and he talks about these demonic spirits that would attack him, and they were in the form of lizards and reptiles, etc., So the point that I'm making, church, is that demons sometimes take on a creature form. And this is what John is describing here. The creature form that these demons took on in the book of Revelation in these verses that we just read is the creature form of frogs. John says, I saw spirits, unclean spirits in verse 13, like frogs, and they are spirits of demons performing signs which go out to the kings of the whole world to gather them together for the war of the great day of God the Almighty. Then in the 16th verse, and they gather them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon. We call it in Hebrew Har-Megiddo, which means it's a mountain, it's a city built upon a city. It's a specific location. But what we find, some of you that have gone to Israel have actually seen the place called Har-Magedon or Armageddon. What we find is, as we study the full prophetic writings in the Hebrew Bible, is that the battle extends far beyond the reaches of just this small valley. It's taking place in Jerusalem, we read in the prophets. It's taking place over much of the land of Israel. But for John's prophetic purposes, he laser beams it on to the center point of this battle in the book of Revelation, Armageddon. I want to talk to you today, church, beloved ones, about this great final world war that the Bible calls Armageddon. We often say Armageddon. First of all, to put it in context, Israel has forever been the central point of the world's political system, of the spiritual climate on the earth, even today, right? So it's crazy that... All the other nations of the world have been able to declare, this is our capital, and the world has respected that and recognized that. Yet in the case of Israel, Israel said for centuries, Jerusalem is our capital, and yet what's happened in the last hundred years since Jerusalem was once again, since Israel rather, was once again birthed as a nation? What's happened? The world has failed to recognize Jerusalem. as Israel's capital. Well, again, there was a United Nations resolution and 128 nations rendered it null and void in their eyes as recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. So there has been this animosity towards Israel forever, and it's going to climax once again in Armageddon. Listen to this statistic. Over the course of Israel's history, listen to this now, It has been attacked by other countries 52 times. It has been besieged 23 times. It has been destroyed twice. So forever there's been this intense, violent conflict with the powers of darkness against God, against his people, and against his land. And it's going to climax with war. And the people that go against Armageddon are going to be demonically infused with a hatred that's beyond any human hatred that you've ever seen. But hear this, it's part of God's sovereign plan. In other words, it's not just that Israel is going to be a victim, but it's that God is the one behind this whole thing, sovereignly setting it up so he can put an end to his enemies there. Listen, church, once and for all.

SPEAKER 03 :
Let's take a look at some scriptures as we continue forward in this process today. I'm gonna read from the book of Joel, and then I'm gonna read again from the book of Zechariah. Hear the word of God. I'm beginning here with Joel chapter three, verse two. The Lord says, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of my people and my inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and they have divided up my land. I want you to notice a few things here. First of all, I'm pointing out there that the Lord is the one that's bringing them down to the valley of decision. That's what Jehoshaphat means, the valley of decision. And again, Armageddon is spread all over the region of Israel. And so the point is, is that this is part of God's way of bringing the entire world to accountability before him. He is bringing them there. He's angry because of the world's persecution of his people and because the Lord said there, listen, they have scattered my people among the nations, listen now, and they have divided up my land. Joel continues in the third chapter, verses 9 through 12 and verse 14. Hear the word of God. Proclaim this among the nations. Prepare a war. Rouse the mighty men. Notice, church, that it's the Lord that's rousing the people of the world. He's the one that's bringing about this final world conflict. Let all the soldiers draw near. Let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords. In other words, he's wanting the world to come against Israel with sword. and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, I'm a mighty man. Hasten and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves there. Bring down, O Lord, your mighty ones. Let the nations be aroused and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat." The Lord continues in the book of Zechariah as the conflict escalates. In the 12th chapter, the second and third verse, behold, the Lord says, I'm going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around. And when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. It will come about in that day that it will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will be severely injured, and all the nations," listen, and all the nations on the earth will be gathered against it. Listen to the harmony there and the unity between what John tells us in the book of Revelation, where he tells us here in chapter 16 of Revelation that God is going to release these demonic spirits into the hearts and minds of the kings of the earth to gather them together for the great war of God, and he's going to do it in Israel with Armageddon being the centerpiece of it all. You think of that and think about what Zechariah says, it's the same exact thing. Zechariah tells us that God is going to gather the nations of the world against Jerusalem. And why is God going to do it? So that he can break in and destroy his enemies. In verse 8 and 9 of Zechariah 12, we read this, "...in that day..." the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And the one who is feeble among them in that day will be like David. And the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord before them. And in that day, the Lord says, I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. Now, it's important to realize, though, church, that it's not as though Jerusalem is going to be able to face this battle and be unscathed by it, because it actually is going to appear in the midst of this battle before Abba breaks in and destroys all his enemies through his son. It's actually going to appear as though Jerusalem and Israel will be wiped off the face of the earth forever. It's going to be nearly destroyed before God breaks in. God is going to show up at the last moment. We read in Zechariah 14, 2, I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle. Listen, and the city will be captured. So the Lord says, I'm going to gather the nations against Israel, against Jerusalem. And it says, and the city, listen now, will be captured. The house is plundered. The women ravished, listen now, and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. And just as it appears as though Jerusalem is going to be completely trodden over, just as it would appear that there is no hope left, suddenly Jesus is going to break through the sky with his mighty angels and flaming fire and the horses of God and the armies of heaven behind him, along with his saints. And he's going to destroy the enemies and then set up his kingdom, beloved ones, on the earth. We read about this in Zechariah 14, 3 through 5. The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of the Lord abides forever. Hear the word of God. the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. In that day, his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half the mountain will move toward the north and the other half towards the south. You will flee by the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Eziel, God goes on here and it says, and the Lord will come and his holy ones with him. It's amazing to me that when God appears to stop the battle and destroy his enemies, the place that his appearance is first seen, we read, is at, listen now, the Mount of Olives. Listen again. In front of Jerusalem on the east at the Mount of Olives, and listen, This is the same exact spot that in Acts chapter one, the disciples saw Jesus visibly ascend to heaven from. So in other words, the place where the apostles and the disciples saw Jesus be lifted off the earth into the heavens, that place in Acts one was the Mount of Olives. That's where Jesus ascended to heaven from. When he returns, Where will he return to? Zechariah tells us, listen, the Mount of Olives. It is an amazing thing to me when I see the unity between what the Hebrew prophets tell us and what's revealed in the New Testament. And I love this, that the place that Jesus ascended to heaven from in Acts 1 is the same place his feet will first hit the ground to when he returns to stop the battle of armageddon claim his people and set up his kingdom on the earth beloved we don't have to be rocket scientists to see and to understand that god is getting ready he's setting the stage right now to bring about the nations of the world again against Jerusalem. Anti-Semitism is growing all over the earth right now. Even on college campuses, Sweden, Austria, Poland, France, all over the earth, there's a resurgence of anti-Semitism and it is all in preparation. for the world to condemn Israel and turn against her once again. But the Lord said, stand with me, stand with my people and be true to my cause and you will be rewarded. Thank you for tuning in today. Beloved, I've been praying that Father God would continue to subject me and that I would cooperate with His subjection and come under the blade of His Word. The Word is living and active and sharper than a two-edged sword, and it's ministered to us in the power of the Holy Spirit through Messiah Jesus. In order for this process to take place, I have to be willing to come under His authority. And when we come under His authority, it affects our disciplining of our thoughts, our attitude, our words, everything in life, including how we use our finances. I want to encourage you, surrender your finances to God, to Hashem, because we can't enter into the fullness of His presence without being surrendered to Him in every area of our lives. If the Lord is blessing you and feeding you through this ministry and you feel Him urging you to make a donation to Him through it, beloved, just be obedient.

SPEAKER 02 :
Welcome to Seeds of Revelation, a short devotional presented by Rabbi Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus the Messiah. One of my favorite Psalms is Psalm number 103. There's so much in Psalm 103, I can't cover it all in one short devotional. So I want to highlight today for us verses 8 and 10. Listen to the Word of God. The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in loving kindness. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. Aren't you thankful that the Lord has been merciful to you? And rather than rewarding you according to your sin, he's shown grace to you, that he's working with you, helping you to overcome, that he's been strong. slow to anger and patient. I mean, it's unbelievable what God has done for us. He could have just as easily judged us. He could have just as easily given us a tit for a tat, but instead he has compassion on us and he understands why we are the way we are. He understands that we're created from the dust of He's compassionate. The scripture says, God knows we were created from the dust. He has empathy for us, compassion for us. And not only that, he understands the brokenness that we've come from, the brokenness in our families and the betrayals that we've experienced. He loves us. And so when we respond to something wrongly, Because of the fact that we were born into a broken, fallen world, that we came, some of us, out of dysfunctional families, that we've been betrayed, that we've been scarred, that there's areas in our life that are not yet made whole. And because of that, we don't always respond to others correctly. Rather than judging us immediately for our wrongful response sometimes, God sees past that and he loves us. The Bible says Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. God loved you and me. Listen, this is important. Before we came to Jesus, think about that. Sometimes we get confused. We come to Jesus, and then if we mess up, if we sin, we wonder if God loves us. But God sent Jesus to die for you and I. before we came to Jesus. And so I want you to be convinced God loves you today. Listen again, the Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and he does not, or he has not rewarded us according to our sin. I want you to surrender your heart to believe and trust in God's love for you. This doesn't give us a license to sin. On the contrary, it should motivate us not to sin. Because he loves us and he's got a call on our lives. Our love for God is what keeps us walking in fidelity with him. And when we're fully convinced that he loves us, we're going to fully love him back and cease from sinning. And of course, this is a process. We don't go from being a zero to being a hero in a second. We overcome every single day. But leave with this today. The nature of God is compassion and love. And he chose you in his son even before you were born. Open up your heart to trust him. Know he loves you. Even when you feel separated from him or feel like you're drifting, know that his love for you is unfailing. This will not make you more prone to sin. Rather, it will cause you to become more in love with him and cause you to live a life that's even more devoted. God loves you. Be blessed in Jesus' name and Yeshua's name.

Rabbi Schneider takes us on a journey through the complex terrain of the book of Revelation, breaking down its prophetic messages with clarity and purpose. As the episode unfolds, he emphasizes how this mysterious text serves as a guide for believers navigating the uncertainties of the end times. With a focus on the 21 judgments unveiled within Revelation, listeners gain a deeper understanding of the seals, trumpets, and bowls that mark pivotal moments in prophecy. Through this detailed exploration, Rabbi Schneider underscores the connection between biblical history and future prophecy, drawing parallels between the Exodus story and the revelations about Jesus as the Lamb. He highlights that patterns revealed in the Old Testament find fulfillment in the new, calling believers to prepare their hearts for the times ahead by strengthening their faith. Listeners are not only enlightened with prophetic insights but are also encouraged to transcend fear and build a resilient relationship with God. In today's rapidly changing world, this message is more vital than ever, encouraging the global community to stand firm in faith as they anticipate the return of Christ.
SPEAKER 01 :
Welcome to Discovering the Jewish Jesus. I'm your host, Dustin Roberts, and today Rabbi Schneider is going to help us prepare for the end times as described in the book of Revelation. The book of Revelation, it's a prophetic word that's given to us by the father and his son, and it helps us to prepare for the last days. But there's a lot of people that feel Revelation is confusing. So today, Rabbi Schneider is here to help us decode this mysterious book. And it's really a great opportunity to connect with the Lord in a unique way and perhaps a way that you've never connected with him before. So I want to encourage you to really tune in today. And if you've missed any of the messages before today's message, you can catch up online at discoveringthejewishjesus.com. Now here's Rabbi Schneider.
SPEAKER 03 :
Father God, we just worship you today. I pray, Father, for a spirit of wisdom and revelation. And I ask, Father, that you would release your word into the minds and hearts of your people and prepare us for the end. In Jesus' name, amen. As we begin today in review, we should start out with what Jesus said about the book of Revelation. Jesus said two times in the book of Revelation, "'Blessed is he that studies the words of this prophecy. So Jesus himself said it is very important for his people to look at, to understand, to meditate on, to read, to look to the Lord for revelation on the book of Revelation. You see, the book of Revelation is not just informational, but the Lord gave us this prophetic word that we would be prepared for the end. That's the point. Many people have began to study Messianic prophecy. Many people have looked at prophecy about the end times. And their primary aim is just to gain knowledge. But the goal that God has for us in studying end time prophecy is that we would be prepared by it for what we're going to face as things become more difficult in the world and for King Jesus' soon return. So once again, off the bat, I'm making the point, beloved children of God, how important the book of Revelation is and how it is so much a part of God's heart for us that we study it, that we will be prepared to meet him. Now, the book of Revelation deals with God doing some incredible things on the earth before the return of Jesus. Then we move in to his return, and then we look at the new heavens and the new earth. Let's go back to the beginning. John is on the island of Patmos. he's been exiled there because of his faith in Jesus. In other words, they wanted to isolate him so that he couldn't keep stirring things up as he was proclaiming Jesus. So he's on the island of Patmos, he's alone. The book of Revelation begins by telling us that as he was isolated on this island, It says that suddenly on the Lord's day one day, he heard a voice from heaven and he was translated, beloved ones, he was transported into the spirit realm and he saw the Lord on his throne. He heard Jesus speak to him. Jesus communicated to him through angels. And what Jesus showed him was what was going to happen on the earth in the last days. Now John sees in heaven, he sees Jesus, and he sees Jesus opening up a book, a set of seals, a scroll. And as Jesus opens up the scroll, and he begins to go into the scroll, judgments begin to pour out upon the earth. All in all, there are 21 judgments that John sees Jesus releasing upon the earth in the last days. 21 judgments. Now listen, I don't want you to become overwhelmed by the details. So just, you know, get the main concept here. But there are 21 judgments. And these 21 judgments are broken up into three sets. The first seven judgments are called the seven seals. Then the second seven judgments are released with seven trumpets. And then the last seven are called the bowls of wrath, the seven bowls of wrath. So there are seven seals that are broken. Then there are seven trumpets. And when the seventh trumpet blows, it releases what are known as the seven bowls of wrath. Now, when the seventh trumpet blows before the seven bowls of wrath are released, something very mysterious happens. The church, beloved ones, is taken off the earth. So what I've been teaching is that God's people, the church, will be in the world for the first seven seals. Then they'll be here through the six trumpets. Once again, the seven seals and each trumpet releases judgment. But at the blowing of the seventh trumpet, listen now, the church is taken up or raptured out of the world. Now, Those that have studied end time prophecy recognize that there is debate on when the church is taken out of the world. Will the church be taken out of the world before any of the judgments begin? Will the church be taken out of the world in the middle of this judgment of God that's being poured out upon the earth? Or will the church be taken out after all the judgments are poured out on the world? What I am teaching you, beloved, is that the church will be taken out of the world, listen now, before, listen, the seven bowls of wrath or the wrath of God. Listen again, I know it's confusing. I believe the church will be in the world for the first seven judgments that are released with the first seven seals. I believe that the church will be in the world once again for the judgments that fall when the first six trumpets are blown. But when the seventh and the last trumpet is blown, at that point, the church will be taken out of the world And that seventh trumpet not only brings the rapture about where the church is taken out of the world, but the seventh trumpet, the book of Revelation tells us, also releases God's final seven judgments on the earth, which are known, get it now, as the seven bowls of wrath. Now, the book of 1 Thessalonians tells us this, speaking again, that the church will be raptured out of the world at the seventh trumpet, which is the last trumpet, listen to what the book of 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 16 and 17 tells us. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first, then we are alive and remain, we'll be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Paul tells us in the book of Corinthians that it's going to be at the last trumpet that the church will be taken out of the world. So we just read in Thessalonians that the church will be taken out when the trump sounds. And Paul gives us further revelation in the book of Corinthians that the trump in which the church will be caught up into the air to meet the Lord in the air with, the trump that's going to sound is the last trump or the seventh trump. But I'm going to make it easier to understand. 29 times in the book of Revelation, Jesus and his acts are connected, listen, to the Lamb of God. Jesus is referred to as the Lamb of God in the book of Revelation, listen now, 29. Nine times. This is very important to understand. I know this is review for some of you, but I just want to set the stage as we've moved into this new season on decrypting the book of Revelation. Extremely important to understand. Because the Bible, listen, is unity. The Old and New Testaments, listen, are in unity with each other. The New Testament is not separate from the Old Testament, but the New Testament completes the Old Testament, and the same type of patterns that we see in the Old Testament are repeated in the New Testament. For example, just to take a little bit of a side note, think about Joseph. Joseph, he is rejected by his brothers, right? And then he becomes the savior of his brothers, right? A type of Jesus rejected by Israel, but he becomes the savior of Israel. We could go on and on and show you how the patterns in the Old Testament or the Hebrew Bible are fulfilled in the New Testament. This is why Jesus said, did not think I've come to abolish the law and the prophets, for I've not come to abolish, but to, listen now, fulfill. So knowing that the Bible is a book of patterns, and knowing that Jesus is referred to 29 times in the book of Revelation as the Lamb, we have to ask ourselves, what could God be saying to us about Jesus being the Lamb? In other words, Jesus, in the book of Revelation, is the Lamb. He's referred to as the offspring of David. He's referred to as the bright and morning star. But those are just, you know, one or two times. But overwhelmingly, he's the Lamb. So we have to ask ourselves, since the Old and New Testaments are connected, that's why the first chapter in the New Testament, Matthew chapter 1, verse 1, begins by showing us Jesus' genealogy. In other words, by connecting the two together. Since Jesus is referred to as the Lamb, we have to ask ourselves, what does this mean? And we find out about the Lamb and the Lamb's ministry by going back, what, to the Tanakh, to the Torah, to the Old Testament, to the book of Exodus, chapter 12, where we find that Israel, listen now, was delivered out of Egypt, get it now, through the blood of OF THE LAMB. JESUS' WHOLE MINISTRY IS BRINGING THE DELIVERANCE OF ISRAEL OUT OF EGYPT TO ITS FULLEST CLIMAX WHEN HE DELIVERS ALL OF GOD'S PEOPLE, JEW AND GENTILE ALIKE, OUT OF THE WORLD, OUT OF THE DOMINION OF SATAN AND INTO HEAVEN THROUGH, LISTEN NOW, HIS BLOOD.

When Yeshua, when Jesus
SPEAKER 03 :
was first introduced to the world through John the Baptist at the Jordan River, John pointed at Yeshua, and he said to everyone that was there, behold, listen now, the Lamb of God. Jesus is introduced to the world as the Lamb, and in the book of Revelation at the end of everything, he is also seen, get it now, as the Lamb. Peter told us that we've been redeemed and purchased for God by the precious blood of the Lamb. Paul told us, get it now, that Christ has become our pastor. So knowing that Jesus brings the Exodus story in the Torah to fulfillment by becoming the Lamb of God that purchases God's children out of the world for God Himself, that He is the Deliverer and the Savior through the blood, we have to then interpret the book of Revelation, which identifies Jesus as the Lamb, get it now, through the lens of the Passover story, through the lens of Exodus story. So when we think about God pouring out His judgment, get it now, on the Egyptians, listen, When we think about God in the book of Exodus pouring out His judgments on the Egyptians, we ask ourselves, where were His people, where was Israel when He was pouring out His judgments? We know that there were ten plagues that got poured out upon Egypt. Where was God's people when these ten plagues were being poured out? beloved ones, they were in Egypt. God protected them in Egypt, but they still felt the effects of the plagues. And so it will repeat itself, this same pattern is going to repeat itself at the end of the age for the first seven seals, the first six trumpets, and then when the seven trumpet is blown, God takes his people out of the world, then he releases, get it now, his wrath and Just as God did with Egypt, he released his final wrath on them when he drowned them all in the sea. Israel was in Egypt, listen now, for the ten plagues, but when God poured out his final wrath upon the Egyptians, he first took Israel down. out of that scenario by parting the sea supernaturally which is a symbol of the rapture he translated them supernaturally to the other side of the sea by parting the sea and then egypt was drowned in that same sea when god poured out his final wrath upon them so let me sum it up once again israel listen in the book of exodus is a type of god's church today Egypt in the book of Exodus is a type of the world. Israel was in Egypt, and the church will be in the world as God's judgments begin to fall on the world, but we'll be protected. Pharaoh in the book of Exodus is a symbol or a shadow, listen now, of Satan. The signs, the false signs and wonders that Pharaoh's magicians did in the presence of Moses are a symbol of the type of false supernatural activity that will take place upon the earth during the end of the age both in the secular realm as well as with the false prophets and false teachers that will even try to infiltrate the church many lying Signs and wonders, the New Testament tells us, will take place at the end of the age. Jesus said in Matthew 24, watch out for false teachers. Watch out for false prophets. Jesus said that the supernatural deception is going to be so great at the end of the age that if it were possible, even the elect would be deceived. And so we see that back in the Old Testament when Pharaoh's magicians took their staff, threw them on the ground, and they turned into snakes. Lying signs and wonders. Furthermore, we see that the plagues, get it now, the ten plagues that God poured out upon Egypt in the book of Exodus will be almost identically repeated during the Great Tribulation on the earth. For example, we're going to see the waters turn to blood upon the earth just as they were in ancient Egypt. We're going to see there's going to be a plague of frogs. There's going to be a plague of frogs that will cover the land, which are symbolic of demonic spirits, just as frogs covered the land in ancient Egypt. We see this, for example, in Exodus 8, verse 1 and 2, and then the fulfillment in Revelation 16, 13, and 14. We also see... In the book of Exodus, that great boils came upon the Egyptians in Exodus 9, verses 8 and 9. Similarly, we're going to see the plague of boils come upon those that don't know God on the earth during the great tribulation in Revelation 16, 2. We read, for example, as well, continuing in the book of Exodus, the giant hailstones fell upon ancient Egypt in Exodus 9, verse 23 and 25. Similarly, we'll see the same plague of giant hailstones falling upon the world, bombarding mankind in Revelation chapter 8 and Revelation chapter 16. And so these are just, once again, examples of the pattern that's repeated here. We need to be ready. Jesus gave us the book of Revelation so we would be ready. The church, beloved ones, is going to be facing difficult times. Now this is nothing to be afraid of. Jesus told us when these things happen, he said, do not be afraid. He said, but rejoice and look up, for your redemption draweth nigh. But we need to be prepared. We can't just have this mentality that, you know, we're never going to face difficult times. Because if we have that mentality, and what I'm telling you is correct, which I believe it is, when difficult times come, you won't be prepared to face them. This is why Jesus gave us the book of Revelation. This is why he instructed us to buy from him silver and gold. In other words, to build our life upon him, to dig deep, he said, and build your home on the rock. So when the waves come and the floods come, you're going to stand. Beloved one, listen to me. if I'm wrong and Jesus takes his people out of the world before the tribulation begins, then if you believe what I'm saying and I'm wrong, you'll have lost nothing. Because after all, what Jesus is after isn't that we have all our end time theology right, our I's dotted and our T's crossed all correctly. What he's after is he wants us to be prepared for his return. If I'm wrong and Jesus takes us out of the world before anything difficult happens on the earth, before the tribulation begins, you've lost nothing. You've prepared yourself for His return because you thought you were going to face difficult times, and He came earlier than you thought. Praise God you were ready. But listen, if I'm right, and you don't receive what I'm saying and get ready and get prepared, knowing that you're going to face difficult times, and you just kind of coast through life, and as a result, you never build your faith deep in Him, if I'm right and you don't pay attention, when these difficult times come, you may fall away. Because Jesus said in the last days, many will fall away from the faith. Beloved one, this is nothing to argue about, but I want to deliver a message to you that is more important now than ever. Difficult times are coming. We already see, beloved, the birth pangs. We're looking all over the world now and seeing rogue countries get their hands on nuclear weapons. We've seen morality falling apart all over the world. These things are not going to decrease in intensity. They're going to increase in intensity. And you know what? jesus told us when we see these things we should get ready for his return is near beloved i'm here today to tell you that jesus is coming back soon he's coming back for you and he wants you and i to be ready you see jesus loves us he's after our hearts And I don't want anything that I shared with you today to make you afraid because God doesn't want us to be afraid. But what I do want to do is provoke you to be more serious than ever about your personal relationship with God. Shalom Aleichem, peace to you. We have an interesting verse in the book of Galatians, chapter number six, verse six. It says this, The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him. In other words, the Lord ordained that those that are preaching the gospel and teaching his word, those ministries should be supported by the ones that are receiving. I want to thank all of you that have sown financial seed into discovering the Jewish Jesus. What you're doing is a biblical thing, and it's in alignment with God's plan. If there's those today that are being blessed by the ministry, that are being blessed by my teaching, I would simply ask you, would you open your heart And if you feel the Lord leading you, nudging you to make a financial offering to him through discovering the Jewish Jesus, to fulfill his word in Galatians 6.6, I would just encourage you, be obedient to him. You'll be blessed. This is Rabbi Schneider. I love you.

This program is produced and sponsored by Discovering the Jewish Jesus. And I'm your host, Dustin Roberts. Come back again next week when Rabbi Schneider explains the meaning and the purpose of Armageddon. That's coming up Monday on Discovering the Jewish Jesus.
Rabbi Schneider steers this enlightening episode towards understanding the complex and debated topic of the end times and the rapture. Using the Passover as a lens, he explains the connection between biblical events and future occurrences described in Revelation. Join us as we explore pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, and post-tribulation beliefs while emphasizing the importance of staying spiritually awake. This episode is a must-listen for anyone seeking clarity and comfort in knowing what to expect from prophetic biblical teachings.
SPEAKER 03 :
Hello and welcome to Discovering the Jewish Jesus. I'm your host, Dustin Roberts. And today, Rabbi Schneider is going to help reveal the timing of the rapture. Is it coming when you think? From YouTube prophecies to book authors like Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, and even Hollywood movies, there is no shortage of people talking about the end times. But what does the Bible say about the last day? Well, that's what Rabbi is gonna focus on today. He's gonna continue his study of the book of Revelation. We've got a lot to cover, so if you've got your Bible handy, we're gonna start with some context that can be found in 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 16. And now here's Rabbi Schneider to open up our time with a word of prayer today.
SPEAKER 01 :
Father God, we worship you. We ask you to come and speak to us through your word. Father, we pray that the word would enter our hearts today, that you would build us up by your Holy Spirit in spirit and in truth, in Yeshua's name, in Jesus' name. And all God's people that are in agreement spoke together with me and said, amen and amen. I was just thinking before I came to film the old hymn. Some of you may remember this hymn. It's about standing up in Jesus and being bold witnesses. And some of you older folks will remember it. It goes, Stand up, stand up for Jesus, ye soldiers of the cross. Lift high his holy banner.
SPEAKER 02 :
We must not suffer loss From victory unto victory His army shall He lead Till every foe is vanquished And Christ is Lord indeed
SPEAKER 01 :
Indeed. So we want to keep on lifting up that cross, beloved ones, and being bold witnesses because Jesus is coming back soon. And today we're continuing our study in the book of Revelation. We're calling this series Revelation Decoded as we prepare ourselves for the return of Yeshua HaMashiach, King Lord Jesus. Now, I'm going to be speaking today on the concept of the rapture. Most of you have heard of the term rapture. The word rapture is never actually used in the Bible, but it comes from the book of 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 16 and 17, where it speaks about the dead in Christ rising, and we that are alive will be caught up together with them, listen now, to meet the Lord in the air. So the concept of the rapture is being caught up, both those that have passed on and those that are still alive on earth that believe in Jesus. We're going to be raptured. We're going to be caught up. We're going to ascend off the earth to meet Jesus in the clouds. Now, I know that this is so far removed from anything that we've ever experienced. To those that don't have faith, this seems like make-believe. But let me remind you of this. That's how the people of Noah's day felt. when Noah began to warn them that a flood was coming. And God commanded Noah, we all know the story, to build the ark. And the people laughed at him. They thought it was a fairy tale. They thought it was nonsense. They could never imagine it. But you know what? The waters came. The flood came. And all those that were in the ark were saved. And those that were not were vanquished. They perished. Jesus, beloved, is coming back. And those of us that know him will be raptured up to meet him in the air. And this is no fairy tale. I want to challenge you today to step out of being passive in your mind, because if we don't wake ourselves up by the word of God, we're going to let this go over us like water off a duck's back. thinking that the rapture, you know, might sound nice, that we may agree with it intellectually because we know that the Bible teaches it, but we really don't believe it. But I want to challenge you today. The rapture is real. It's going to happen. I think of a scripture in the book of Peter, and Peter was talking about how he was with Jesus, and he saw Jesus, he said, when he was with him on the holy mountain that we call the Mount of Transfiguration. You remember the stories in the gospel where Peter, James, and John went up on top of a mountain with Jesus. And when they got to the top of the mountain, beloved, suddenly Jesus was transformed before them. And he became a spirit before their eyes. In other words, they could no longer just see his body. But now they saw him as a spirit. There was the radiance of of God's light that was shining through his body. And then they heard a voice from heaven that said, this is my beloved son, listen to him. And this is what Peter said about that. He said, he wrote it in his book, he said, we did not follow cleverly devised fairy tales when we made known to you the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He said, we were with him on the holy mountain. when we heard the divine voice from heaven say, this is my son, listen to him. In other words, Peter is saying that the coming of Jesus is no fairy tale. Peter said, I was with him on the mountain when he was transfigured before me as a being of glorious light. And I heard God speak from heaven saying, this is my son, listen to him. Jesus' last words were, behold, I come quickly. I'm coming soon. So I just want you to shake it off because we have a tendency to think it didn't happen last week. Didn't happen last year. Didn't happen five years ago, 10 years ago. Didn't even happen 100 years ago. Hasn't happened in 2,000 years. And so we stop staying awake. We stop expecting. And if we're not careful, we'll even stop believing. But God wants to remind us today, beloved, the scriptures are the word of God. Heaven and earth will pass away, but his word will never pass away. The rapture is real, and Jesus is coming back for you soon. i want you to do something with me now just to allow the holy spirit to do something in your heart i want to just activate faith in god's word for you concerning the rapture and the coming of jesus i want you to put your hand over your heart with me first and just put your hand over your heart and just repeat after me jesus just say it with me jesus is coming back soon Now let's do it this way. Let's say together, Jesus is coming back for me. You feel that? I know I do. The question I want to address today is, when will the rapture take place? And when is Jesus going to return? I want to first today concentrate on the rapture. Now, if you've studied what is known as biblical eschatology, that's just a fancy word for studying the end times, you know that there's a big debate as to when the rapture will take place. Will the rapture happen before the tribulation begins? Will the rapture happen in the middle of the tribulation? Will the rapture happen at the end of the tribulation? Or is there another approach? And so in theological schools, we have those people that are called pre-tribbers. They believe that God will take his people off the earth, out of the world, before the tribulation begins that Jesus describes in the gospels and in the book of Revelation. And if you're not familiar with this, I encourage you to get this entire series because I covered this in great detail. So some people believe, many probably have been taught, that the rapture will happen, that God will take his people off the earth before the tribulation begins so that none of God's people will experience the plagues that will fall on the world during the great tribulation. That's called pre-trib. Some people are mid-tribbers. They believe that God will take his people off the earth in the middle of the tribulation. Then there's those that are post-trib. They believe that the Lord will not take his people off the earth till after the tribulation. And it's all very confusing. I remember as a young believer being very confused by all this. And I heard one person, you know, give all types of scriptures to support his pre-tribulation theology. I had another person give all scriptures to support his post-tribulation theology. I even in Bible school had a class that I was in just to understand the book of Revelation. And at the end of the class, beloved ones, I was still confused. Even though as I had shared in an earlier broadcast, I still got an A in the class because I memorized the information, but I didn't understand it. I was very confused. And then when I first started ministering, when I first started pastoring, later becoming a Messianic rabbi, but I remember in those early years, people would say to me, you know, what are you? Are you pre-trib, post-trib, mid-trib? What are you? And I was of the opinion, you know, I'm not going to take a position just to take a position. People expected me to take a position because I was a pastor, but I wasn't gonna take a position just to take a position. And so I just said, you know, I don't know. I describe myself as a pan-tribber. I don't know if it's post-trib, mid-trib, pre-trib. I just know it's all gonna pan out. It's all gonna pan out. I'm a pan-tribber. And I really didn't have a position because I was too just cloudy about all the information. But about 10 years ago, the Lord, beloved ones, began to give me clarity. And I want to share with you today what I believe the Lord gave me. And I really know it's going to bring some comfort to many of you that are listening today, because some of you have been confused about this, too.
SPEAKER 03 :
You're listening to Discovering the Jewish Jesus. And before Rabbi Schneider continues his teaching, he has a special message to share with all of us.
SPEAKER 01 :
Greetings in Messiah on this new year.
SPEAKER 03 :
What a meaningful way to honor God with our finances this year. And if you feel the Lord leading you to create a free will, visit us at discoveringthejewishjesus.com. It's free for you whether you support us or not. Now let's return to Rabbi as he continues his teaching.
SPEAKER 01 :
So I want to begin by saying this. I believe God gives us a blueprint for understanding the book of Revelation. I believe God gives us a blueprint to understand the timing of many of the main events in the book of Revelation so that we can understand when the rapture will take place by this blueprint that I'm going to explain. The question is, is there something in the Hebrew Bible, is there something in the Old Testament that helps us to understand the book of Revelation and the end time events that are described in the New Testament? And I believe 100% there absolutely is. Paul said in the book of Corinthians that the Old Testament, that the law of Moses, the prophets and the Psalms, Paul said was written for our instruction upon whom, listen now, the end of the ages has come. So Paul said the events in the Hebrew Bible were written for the church today, upon whom, listen again, the end of the ages, we're talking about end times now, has come. So there's a pattern, a blueprint in the Hebrew Bible that helps us to understand, listen, when the rapture will take place. What is that blueprint? Well, when we look at the book of Revelation, we find that Jesus and his ministry is referred to, get it now, 29 times in reference to the Lamb. The lamb before the throne, the lamb, the lamb, the lamb. John the Baptist, when he introduced Yeshua to the world, introduced Yeshua, get it now, as the lamb of God. John pointed to Jesus and said, behold, the lamb of God, listen now, John said, behold, the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. And some of us have missed this. We think of lamb and we just think, oh, that means that Jesus is nice. You know, he's all soft and furry like a lamb. No. The lamb terminology is not based on the warm wool of a lamb. The lamb terminology, beloved ones, comes from the Passover. It's the Passover lamb that brought forth Israel's deliverance. So, for example, when we go to the book of Revelation, chapter number 5, we see there, Revelation 5, 6, the lamb before the throne. We see there standing before the lamb that was slain. We see in verse 8 of Revelation 5, they fell down before the lamb. In verse number 12, worthy is the lamb who was slain. We see there as well that him who sits on the throne and to the lamb be blessing, honor, glory, power forever and ever in verse 13. And it goes on. We read in Revelation 21 that in the new Jerusalem, there'll be no need of a son because listen now, The lamb will be the light. 29 times in the book of Revelation, Jesus is referred to as the lamb. Now he's referred to as the offspring of David. He's referred to as the bright and morning star, but that's just in a couple references. overwhelmingly, he is referred to as the Lamb. So it must mean something, the fact that over and over and over and over, overwhelmingly, Jesus and his activities is referred to as the Lamb. That must mean that it has something to do with the Lamb that we see revealed in the book of Exodus. In fact, the Exodus of Israel out of Egypt is the prototype for understanding the book of Revelation, including the timing of the rapture. So considering that, I want you to think about this. Again, we read that we are redeemed, get it now, Peter says, by the precious blood of the Lamb. This is all pointing back to Israel's deliverance. How was Israel delivered out of Egypt? Through what now? The blood of the Lamb. of the lamb. Most of us know the story. Every Israelite family was commanded to take an unblemished lamb, to slaughter the lamb, to eat the lamb, and then listen now, to put the blood of the lamb over their doorpost. And then when the angel of judgment, the angel of death, moved through the land of Egypt that night, what happened? Everybody that was in a home that had been marked by the blood of the lamb, judgment passed them over, they were delivered and saved. Again, this is all pointing to Yeshua. So I want you to think about this. Because we see that Jesus is overwhelmingly referred to as the lamb in the book of Revelation, and knowing that that lamb terminology, get it now, is Passover language, this tells us that the book of Revelation must be seen through the lens of the Passover. So interpreting now the book of Revelation through the lens of the Passover and trying to discern from this the timing of the rapture, I want you to consider this. We have already determined that the ancient Passover lamb that the Israelites put to death, that was a symbol of Jesus, the lamb of God that died for the sins of the world. Israel, ancient Israel, was a symbol of God's people today, the church. Pharaoh that was oppressing Israel is a symbol of Satan who's trying to oppress God's people and the world. The plagues that fell upon Egypt locally during the Exodus 3,500 years ago Those same plagues almost identically will fall upon the world globally during the Great Tribulation. So we need to understand the timing of the rapture through the lens of the Passover because we see the fulfillment of all the shadows. Now here's the question. When the 10 plagues fell upon Egypt, where was Israel? Israel was in Egypt while the 10 plagues fell. Now, there was protection for them, but they were in Egypt, and they felt the effects of the plague because, for example, when the Nile turned to blood, everybody that was living in Egypt felt it, but Israel was marked and protected. They were in Egypt, however, for all 10 of the plagues. It wasn't until the final wrath of God was poured out on the Egyptians till Israel was delivered. The ten plagues fell, Israel was in Egypt. Then after the tenth plague, remember, Israel is released from Egypt, they go to the Sea of Reeds, the Red Sea. They begin to go through the Red Sea, and eventually what happens, what? Pharaoh changes his mind, and he begins to follow them. So Pharaoh leads his armies and the chariots into the sea. What does God do? He takes Israel, listen now, to the other side of the sea, and while Egypt is still in the sea trying to catch up with them, what does God do? He drowns them all in the sea. The point is, Israel was in Egypt when the ten plagues fell, and it wasn't until God poured out His final wrath upon the Egyptians by drowning them in the sea that Israel was first rescued out. I believe the same thing holds true today in terms of the timing of the rapture. That the church will be in the world for much of the tribulation. They'll be in the world for the first seven seals. And for the first six trumpets, and you'll have to get this whole series because I covered all that. It will be at the final trumpet, the seventh trumpet, when the seven bowls of wrath are released at the blowing of the final trumpet, that the church will then be raptured out of the world at the seventh trumpet. This is why the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 15, 52, that when the last trump sounds, we'll all be changed. This is why Paul tells us that the trump will sound and we're going to be caught up and meet the Lord in the air. The application is, beloved, is that the church needs to get strong and we need to get ready because we will be in the earth, beloved, when the plagues start falling. But praise God, those of us that are looking to Jesus will be strong, will be lights, will be witnesses, will have everything that we need to successfully go through this part of the tribulation. And when that seven trump sounds, you're going to be raptured out. It's going to be glory beyond anything you could ever dream of when you meet Jesus in the air and then come back with him with all his holy saints to establish his glorious millennial kingdom here on earth. God loves you. He bought you and he's coming back for you. In the book of Galatians, chapter six, verse nine, we read this, Grow not weary in doing good, for in due time you're going to reap a harvest or reap a reward. Now, I want you to think about this. When the Holy Spirit gave us that word, He wants to apply it to every area of our lives. Sometimes we apply that word to some area of our lives, but sometimes we don't apply that word to our finances. I want to speak to you that are listening right now. Let's continue to put God first and honor him with our finances. Let's continue to sow our financial resources into the kingdom so that God's word can be spread to the ends of the earth. Beloved, I want to ask you, will you continue to do good with your finances? Would you make a financial contribution to the Lord through discovering the Jewish Jesus right now?

SPEAKER 03 :
Welcome to this Wednesday edition of Discovering the Jewish Jesus. I'm your host, Dustin Roberts, and today Rabbi Schneider explains God's view of justice. The term justice, it gets thrown around a whole bunch today, from poetic justice to social justice activism. People all over the world have a lot to say about it, especially on social media. But what does the Bible teach? That's the topic today as Rabbi Schneider helps us to code the book of Revelation. Now, a lot of people think Revelation is a book that only holds a dark and heavy view of the end times. But the reality is this book is filled with lots and lots of hope. So let's join Rabbi as he shares a fresh perspective on Revelation 16.
SPEAKER 02 :
I'm calling today's program Mercy and Justice. The reason I'm calling it Mercy and Justice is we're trying to understand how and why God would pour forth such severe judgments upon the earth that we read about in the book of Revelation. We see 21 judgments that God pours on the world because of sin that we read of in the book of Revelation. The first 14 of these judgments come from seven seals that Jesus breaks and then seven trumpets that are blown in heaven. These first 14 judgments, I believe, are actually designed to lead people to repentance, that they'll see all the horrific things that are happening in the world and all the plagues that are falling upon mankind. And as a result of that, they would turn to God. Because God's not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance. But by the time the last of the 14 judgments falls, beloved, it's too late for mankind to repent. Everybody that would have repented has already repented. So the only thing that's left now is for God to punish sin upon the earth, to destroy those that would not repent, and to cleanse the earth so we can establish a new order, a new heavens, and a new earth. The final set of judgments are called the seven bowls of wrath, and these seven bowls of wrath once again are designed to destroy those that would not receive God's mercy. Many today, that consider themselves Christians do not believe this. They don't believe that a loving God would pour forth such tremendous judgments on the world, that the sun would scorch people, that their skin would be covered with boils, that there'd be darkness and death and pain, and that the marine life would begin to die, that there'd be an earthquake that would be unlike anything the world has ever experienced before. And they say, how could a loving God do such things? But beloved, what these that think that fail to understand is that God is not just loving, hear me now, He's also just. And I left off last broadcast talking about this. We have to understand that God's love cannot tolerate sin because listen, sin destroys His creation. Sin destroys human beings that were created in His own image. Sin defiles and corrupts and it robs God of His glory. And so God cannot put up with it forever. This is why eventually sin has to be punished and why the earth has to be cleansed of it. In fact, Peter tells us that it's not harshness that causes God to pour out these final judgments in the book of Revelation, but rather we see instead that God has been waiting patiently for thousands of years for man to repent. He wants people to be saved. But the time comes in Revelation 16 that there is no time left. Again, God's patience has run out. Now, we read about the book of Exodus, the book of Shemoth, chapter number 34, to me, one of the most profound passages in the entire Word of God. The reason, beloved ones, this is so profound is because in Exodus 34, listen to me, Moses meets God. I mean, I'm telling you, Moses truly walked into a place in the spirit that he knew exactly who God was because God revealed it to him. You know, the Lord said of Moses that he was his face-to-face prophet. The Lord said about Moses that he talks to Moses as a man talks to a friend. The Lord also described Moses as the most humble being on the planet. Moses in Exodus 34 is standing in a cleft of a rock. He's praying because he had been asking God, God, I feel insecure. Lord, you say that I found favor in your sight, but Father, show me. Father, you said you would go with me when I lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, but Abba, I need more assurance. Show me, help me. So finally, God says to Moses, Moses, I want you to go over there in the cleft of the rock. I want you to call upon my name. And when you call upon my name, Moses, the Lord said to him, I'm going to come to you. And then the Lord said, and I'm going to proclaim my name to you. When we hear that phrase, the Lord saying, I'm going to proclaim my name, we think of something perhaps in the natural that Moses is just going to hear God's name. But that's not what God was saying. What God was saying to Moses is, Moses, When I proclaim my name to you, I'm going to fill you with revelation, with revelatory light. Your entire being is going to be filled with the knowledge of who I am. Moses didn't just hear the name with his ears or mind. Moses was filled with a knowing who he was. It was literally filled with God. So Moses goes and he calls upon the name of the Lord. Listen what happens as I once again read Exodus 34, verse six and seven. Hear the word of the Lord. The Lord passed by before him. And you'll notice there the word Lord, it's capitalized, capital L, capital O, capital R, capital D. Anytime you see God's name in all caps in the Hebrew Bible, LORD, it's actually his personal name that he revealed to Moses when he said to Moses, Moses, your forefathers knew me as El Shaddai. They knew me as God Almighty. But he said, Moses, My personal name, my sacred name is Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh Yahweh. It's God's personal name. It's his covenant name. So what actually happened there in the original, it says, then Yahweh. Again, God is more than just, you know, a force. He's a literal person and he has a name. So God actually speaks his name to Moses here. It says, then Yahweh passed by before him and proclaimed Yahweh. Yahweh, God. He says, merciful and gracious. So the first thing that we learn about who God is, who the God and Father of Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ is, the first thing that we realize is that his nature is merciful. It's the first word. that he uses to describe himself. Yahweh God, the Lord God, is first of all, listen, church, merciful and gracious. What does merciful mean? It means showing favor. Grace is showing favor to one that doesn't deserve it. He's a good God. He delights in loving us. He's merciful and gracious. Slow to anger. He's not an angry God that loses his temper, you know, in a second. No, he's slow to anger. Abounding in goodness and truth, abounding in loving kindness, goodness and truth. Listen, what does abounding mean? It's like bubbling up, overflowing. This is a good God. He's a good, good father. Abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy. There's mercy again. Mercy, mercy for thousands. Listen, forgiving. This is who God is. Merciful, tenderhearted, full of goodness, forgiving, iniquity, transgression and sin. But then notice what the next thing God reveals to Moses. who will by no means clear the guilty. He will not leave, beloved ones. The guilty go unpunished. So what we learn here in this most profound revelation of who God actually is in the entire Torah, in the entire Old Testament, is that God is number one. Listen, church. He's first merciful, but he's second of all just, just. And so we have to understand His ways and His actions from these two perspectives that describe His essence. He's first of all merciful. He desires to show mercy. That's why He sent Jesus. If He just wanted to sow justice, He would have never sent Jesus. He just would have destroyed mankind and wiped them out from the very beginning. Every time somebody sinned for the first time, God would have just killed them if he was just just because the Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death. So God's direct justice would mean that he would immediately put to death everybody that sinned the first time they sinned. But because God is merciful and long suffering and patient, he doesn't just immediately destroy people when they sin, but he gives them an opportunity to turn to him through his son because his son died in their place and paid the penalty that they would have had to pay. Jesus died for your sin. So because God loves us and he's merciful, he's calling to us, come to Jesus and be saved. Jesus said the son came to save mankind. And so God is merciful and He's just. So by the time we get to Revelation, to the seven bowls of wrath, God has called out to the world for over 2000 years to turn to His Son. The gospel has already been preached to the entire world. The Holy Spirit has knocked on men's heart to be saved. And everybody that would have already has, the only ones that are now left have said no to God. Their hearts are permanently hardened. So there's nothing left for God to do. but to show his justice. And that's what you see happening here. So I want you to understand God is a just and a loving and a merciful God. These that these judgments are falling upon are those that have rejected God. And there is no place left for God to go with them, but to destroy them because he's cleansing the world of sin, because he's a just God. The wages of sin is death that has to be punished. And so this puts things hopefully in perspective.

SPEAKER 02 :
I want to just say this in reference to sin being punished and the wages of sin being death. You know, so much of the, quote, gospel that we're hearing today, church, is not the true gospel. If we want to know what the true gospel is, we have to look at Paul's book of Romans, because the book of Romans is the most complete theological exposition of the way of salvation. And did you know that the first three chapters of the book of Romans are all about sin and how the whole world is guilty before God? Paul takes three full chapters in the book of Romans talking about how men on earth suppress the truth and unrighteousness because their conscience bears them witness as to what's right and what's wrong. because God's beauty and His glory is seen in what He's made. It's seen in creation. And yet even though the creation itself bears witness that there's a God, men choose to harden their heart, suppress the truth, and they're now on earth denying that there's a God. And the Jewish people, in addition, they have the law. God gave them the law. They were told, what was right and wrong in the written law of God. So all men, Paul says, are without excuse. Paul concludes and he says, all of us are guilty, that we've all missed the mark, that there's none righteous, no, not one. Paul talks about the poison that comes out of mankind's mouth, the evil words that come out, the slander, the gossip. He said, poison and asp is in their tongue. Paul's whole point in the first three chapters of Romans is to say to the world, you are guilty before God. You need to recognize you're guilty. But his reason for showing man that they're guilty is so that he can repair their hearts for the good news. The good news is that even though mankind is guilty and deserving of death, deserving of the punishment of sin, even though the whole world is guilty and deserving of this because God is just, like we've been teaching, Paul goes on to say, but he's also merciful. And mercy triumphs over judgment. And so because God's merciful, he sent his son. So turn to him. But you see, the gospel that's being preached today oftentimes doesn't tell men that they're guilty. It doesn't tell man that without Jesus, they would go to hell. The gospel that's being presented today is so oftentimes just speaking to people's, quote, felt needs. You know what? If you turn to Jesus, you'll have a better relationship with people. If you turn to Jesus, you'll be more healthy in your body. If you turn to Jesus, you're going to prosper more with your finances. And praise God, Jesus is a complete saver. But the true gospel doesn't begin with simply telling people how Jesus is going to make them happier, healthier, and wiser. Beloved, the true gospel begins by showing that God is a just and holy God and that mankind is guilty before him because of sin and deserving of death and hell. But because God loves us, he sent his son. And this, beloved, should humble us and prepare us to receive the Savior. Listen, Jesus died on the cross, hear me friends, for our sins. The Bible is very clear on this, that he took our sin in his own body on the tree. So, you know, when we know Jesus, God becomes our happiness. Jesus said, I'm going to give you my spirit. He'll become within you a well of living water that you'll hunger and thirst no more. Jesus becomes our treasure. But make no mistake, God is just and sin angers him and it destroys his creation and robs him of his glory. And so as we're reading the book of Revelation, God is not upset because people aren't happier, healthier, or wiser, which is oftentimes the themes of the supposed gospel that's being preached today, which in many respects isn't the full gospel and the real gospel. When the judgments fall in the book of Revelation, it's because God is angry about sin. It's because man has not repented. It's because man has not honored Him as God. It's because man has not laid down his life to follow Jesus. It's because men are not living for Him and His glory. They're living for themselves and their glory. And even many that think they're Christians, all they're doing is making Jesus like a magic genie, you know, like they rub the genie bottle and, you know, out comes the genie and they just ask the genie for their wishes. They're wanting to use Jesus to just make themselves happier. They're wanting to use Jesus to just answer their prayers so they can be filled with their own selfish desires. This is not the true gospel. But the word tells us at the end of the age, there's going to be a false gospel that will be preached. Jesus warned us. He said, before my return, there'll be many false teachers that will come, many false prophets. And they'll even do signs and wonders, Jesus said, to mislead, if possible, even the elect. So be forewarned, beloved ones, the issue that God is dealing with in the book of Revelation and the reason these judgments have come, the reason that Jesus died on the cross was to save us from our sins. The scripture tells us that when Mary was pregnant. The prophetic word came over her and it said, you shall call His name Yeshua. You shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins. We need to go back to start preaching the real gospel again. that mankind is guilty before God because of sin, that we need to repent. We need to turn to Him. We need to forsake our sin. We need to die to ourself, and we need to follow Jesus. We need to pick up our cross, deny ourself, and follow Him. Help us, Father God, in Jesus' name. Paul said again, if somebody comes preaching a different gospel other than this gospel, let that gospel be a curse. Let him be a curse. Beloved, we need to get back to the fundamentals of the Scriptures. and get away from all this teaching and preaching that's just designed to tickle people's ears, to play to their felt needs. Beloved, our felt need should be the fact that we need to be right with God. He became sin, speaking of Jesus, he that knew no sin became sin in our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God. You see, as I conclude today, I want you to hear this. We just got done talking about the fact that God is first of all merciful, but he's just. And we see this evidence in what Jesus did. You see, if God just forgave people without punishing sin, where would the justice be? If the child molester and the murderer and the rapist and the terrorist and those that have caused such harm and evil in the world simply got away with no consequences for their actions, God just simply said, you know what? It's no big deal. Don't worry about it. Where would God's justice be? He wouldn't be just. In other words, if the murderer ended up in the same place as the person that tried to live for God their whole life when they died without Jesus. Where would the justice be? But in Jesus, we see God's mercy and justice. God's justice is fulfilled in Jesus because Jesus died on the cross and he took the penalty that we should have had to take. He died for our sins. He was whipped. He was lashed. He said, Father, why have you forsaken me? Then he descended to hell to the lower parts of the earth. Jesus paid the price. God's justice was fulfilled. But even greater, God's mercy was fulfilled. Because Jesus died in our place, beloved, God can extend his mercy and his kindness, his grace and his favor to you and I. Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart right now. Beloved, I want to encourage you, if you don't know him, Get on your knees, ask Him to forgive you and save you if you do know Him, beloved. Thank Him for how precious He is. Give Him your love and give Father God glory. Beloved, almost everybody knows that there's the Gospel of John, but some may not be as familiar with the three letters that John wrote. They're towards the end of the New Testament. I'm right now at John's third letter, and I'm reading the eighth verse. Listen to what the Word of God says. Therefore, we ought to support such men so that we may be fellow workers with them." What John is saying here is that the church ought to support men that are faithfully teaching the truth. I want to ask you, beloved one, If you believe in me, if you believe in the truthfulness and integrity of the message of this ministry, I want to ask you to financially support us. It's a biblical principle that we ought to financially support those beloved that are preaching the truth. And in doing so, John says, we share in their reward. Thank you for your help.

What I love about the Aaronic blessing is that it did not originate with man. The words actually proceeded from the very essence of God himself. The blessing comes from the book of Numbers, chapter six. So listen to these words and receive the blessing of the Lord into your life today.

This program is produced and sponsored by Discovering the Jewish Jesus. And I'm your host, Dustin Roberts. Join us again tomorrow when Rabbi Schneider shares the timing of the rapture. Is it coming when you think? Well, find out Thursday on Discovering the Jewish Jesus.
In this insightful episode, Rabbi Schneider unravels the tense and complex narrative of the seven bowls of God's wrath from the book of Revelation. With a focus on the spiritual condition of humanity and the end-time events, the discussion provides a deeper understanding of both God's mercy and His justice. As the earth prepares for these final judgments, this episode serves as a sobering reminder of the need for repentance and faith in these tumultuous times.
SPEAKER 03 :
Welcome to Discovering the Jewish Jesus. I'm your host, Dustin Roberts. And today, Rabbi Schneider, he's going to explain the seven bowls of wrath found in the book of Revelation. Just a few years ago, the events that are supposed to happen in the book of Revelation, they seem far off and possibly distant, but things have really changed in the last 20 years. Now more than ever, the world seems to be spiraling out of control. And so today, as we spend time decrypting the book of Revelation, Rabbi wants to discuss the spiritual condition of those who are living on the earth when God begins to pour out His wrath. Notice we're talking here not just about changes on the earth, but God's wrath. We're looking at Revelation chapter 16. So let's get started with today's message. Here's Rabbi with a word of prayer.
SPEAKER 01 :
Father God, we worship you today. We ask you for wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of you. Abba, your word tells us that the word of God has been written that the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened. So we ask today, Father, that as we look to your word, you would open up our mind and our heart to see your glory and to see the face of Jesus. Prepare us, I pray, Father, through the study of your word for your son's soon return. And we ask this for your glory, Abba, and in his name, amen. and amen i want to just begin today by setting a framework from where we've come from that's brought us to the place that we're at today we began by looking at the earth's atmosphere at the time that the events that lead to jesus return will be in in other words what's it going to be like on planet earth when we begin to see the times of the end unfolding And we study how the fact that there's going to be an increase in sin. And because of an increase in sin, people will be more deceived than ever. The earth's atmosphere will be of such a nature that mankind will have lost his moral compass. He'll no longer be able to discern the difference between right and wrong. And it's because of this moral corruption, this moral bankruptcy that will be predominant over the earth that an environment has been created where the Antichrist could arise. In other words, the Antichrist that we read about in Scripture that's going to be on earth before Jesus returns could have never risen to a place of prominence when people's heads were on strike. when the Earth's morality was in order. The Antichrist can only be accepted and received because of the fact that mankind's moral compass will be broken and he'll no longer be able to tell the difference between right and wrong. In fact, the Bible tells us that in the last days, mankind's conscience will be seared. And so they're going to call wrong, right, right, wrong. And it's in this environment that the Antichrist, this charismatic personality, is going to rise to power. And the reason that it's going to happen is because, number one, of the Antichrist's charisma, he's going to have a very winning personality. He's going to have a personality that conveys confidence and authority. And this is important to understand because the earth is going to be so desperate for solutions that they're going to fall for it. In other words, in desperate times, people will believe almost anything. That's how Hitler was able to rise to power in Nazi Germany because Germany was morally bankrupt and they were so desperate. Economically, they were failing. And so when this person with this charismatic personality, this strong personality, Adolf Hitler, came promising answers, the people were so desperate and so hungry, their moral compass was so broken, that the environment was sufficient for him to arise to power, the same thing will be so on planet Earth. The Antichrist will arise when the morality of the world has sunk to an all-time low. Now, as the Antichrist arises, we're going to see other phenomenon begin to take place. We talked about how this is going to lead to the war of Armageddon. We talked about the false signs and the false wonders. Where we left off last time was the judgments of God that we read about in the book of Revelation falling upon the earth during the very end. In the book of Revelation, we read of 21 judgments that fall upon the world during the end times, from the time the tribulation begins. These 21 judgments are made up of three sets. Three sets of seven. In other words, seven, seven, seven. There are seven seals, seven trumpets, and then seven bowls of wrath. I talked about the first 14 judgments. I talked about the seals that are broken. We read about this once again. John, in the book of Revelation, talks about how the Lion of Judah, Jesus himself, takes a scroll. And as he opens the scroll, he begins to unleash seals. Each time Jesus unleashes a seal, a judgment falls. There are seven of them. The seventh seal also releases the seven trumpets. Jesus begins to release the judgments that are associated with the seven trumpets. We left off again last time when I talked about the last of the trumpets, the seventh trumpet. The seventh trumpet blows, and when the seventh trumpet blows, it releases, now church, listen, what's called the seven bowls of wrath. These are the final seven judgments of the 21. They are the most intense. They are horrific. I believe that the first 14 judgments, the first seven seals, and the first seven trumpets, I believe they're actually designed not just to punish sin, but I believe that they're designed, beloved ones, to actually cause mankind to repent. In other words, God's desire is that as man sees these first 14 judgments falling, man will respond by turning to God. By the time the last of these 14 judgments is released, which happens at the seventh trumpet that unleashes the seven bowls of wrath, it's too late now for anybody to repent. Everyone that would have repented, repented. So the only people that are left on earth when the seven bowls of wrath begin to fall are people whose hearts are so hardened, they're permanently unrepentant. They'll never turn to God. So the only thing left for them is to receive the full wrath of God's judgment against sin. That's why these final seven judgments are called, listen now, the seven bowls. bowls of wrath. Let me just go over a few of these bowls of wrath with you so you'll get a taste of this. I know this is technical. Please bear with me. We're going to get to the main content of the concept of this, and you're all going to understand it. Hear me when I say this once again. Just stick with me. Twenty-one judgments. The first are seven seals that release judgments. The second are seven trumpets that release judgments. Now we're on the last three, the seven bowls of wrath. These bowls of wrath fall upon mankind who has been permanently hardened to sin. Now let me go over a few of these with you, and then I'm going to make some application. The first of the bowls of wrath we read about in Revelation 16, verse 2, boils and sores cover man's skin. Man is in agony. Those that are left upon the earth that are hardened, blaspheming God, they won't turn to God. When the judgments are falling, how do they respond? Rather than turning to God, the Bible tells us they blasphemy God and curse God for the judgments that are falling upon the world. These people are permanently agitated. Anti-Messiah spirits, anti-God spirits. God now just pours out undiluted wrath. He covers their skin with sores. Did you know this? Let me just give you an example to make it easy for you to kind of relate. How could this be? Did you know that according to the World Health Organization, 67% of the world's population has herpes simplex virus type 1? Herpes simplex, virus type 1, it's treatable. You know, there's boils that take place on skin, but you can pretty much control it. But when this first bowl of wrath falls upon those that are inhabiting the earth, it's going to be so bad. The boils that cover their skin are going to cover their whole body. They're going to be in absolute agony and pain. As the second bowl begins to happen, we read in Revelation 16, 3, marine life dies, just massive disease in the oceans of the world. And then we see the water turns to blood in Revelation 16, 3 through 7. And then we read in Revelation 16, verse 8 and 9, that the earth is going to be scorched by the sun. Now this doesn't seem so far-fetched as we know that right now the ozone layer is thinning. The earth is getting hotter and hotter and hotter. No one doubts. I shouldn't say no one because there are still some doubters, but most scientists are all in agreement now that the earth's ozone is thinning and the earth is getting hotter and hotter. Glaciers are melting and it's producing great climate changes that are going to lead to disasters upon the earth. Jesus told us it was going to happen as the bowl of wrath is released here in Revelation chapter 16, verse 8 and 9. There's going to be darkness and pain. There's going to be a great river called Euphrates drying up, and finally the greatest earthquake that the world has ever experienced will happen. There's times coming that are so horrific that it leaves us reeling, and many ask themselves, how could a loving God do this? How could a loving God cause men's bodies to be filled with sores? How could he pour out such horrific judgments upon mankind? Is that a loving God, people ask. But I want you to hear this, beloved ones. There are two aspects to God's nature. He's a loving God, and He's a merciful God, but He's a just God as well, and He has to punish sin.

SPEAKER 01 :
Sin corrupts God's creation. Sin pollutes the beauty that God built into the world and into mankind. And sin destroys it, it corrupts it, it pollutes it. And God can't tolerate sin corrupting His creation forever. This is why He wiped out the earth during the times of Noah, because He wanted to start over and build something beautiful. God has been patient towards sin. Ever since Adam and Eve, God has shown patience towards sin. When God pours out all these judgments, it's not the act of a vengeful, petty God, but it's rather the act of a God that's waited thousands of years for mankind to turn to Him. He gave us his word. He sent his prophets. He's called out to us. He sent preachers all over the world calling to them saying, turn to Jesus. It's the gospel. It's the good news. But finally, the world has reached a place where they'll no longer repent. They'll no longer listen. And so it's time now for God to cleanse the world of sin so we can start over. I want you to hear this scripture with me, and this will illustrate what I'm communicating with you, that this is not the act of a vengeful God. This is the act, beloved ones, of a loving God that's waited as long as he can, and now the end has come. I'm reading from the book of 2 Peter 3, verse 8 and 9. Hear the word of God. Beloved, do not be ignorant of this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as one day. Now listen. The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness. But He is patient with us, because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance. What is Peter talking about here? He's saying that the judgments haven't fallen yet, that Jesus hasn't returned yet, because God is patient. He's waiting for other people to turn to Him. God waits as long as he possibly can for people to turn to him before these judgments come. And by the time the seven bowls of wrath fall, it's too late. There's no time left. I want you to hear this once again. God, listen, is both merciful and just. Hear that again. God is both merciful, but he's also, get it now church, just. And the way he operates is depicting both of these essence characteristics of his, his mercy and his justice. We read in the book of Exodus, chapter number 34, that Moses gets into a dialogue with God. And Moses is kind of insecure about his calling, and he keeps on asking the Lord for reassurance. And he says, Lord, if I found favor in your sight, do this. And then finally, Moses, going back and forth with God, he keeps on asking God for more and more assurance. Lord, if you're with me, he says. And then finally, Moses says this. God, he said, Yahweh. Father God, he said, listen, show me your glory. And the Lord says to Moses, Moses, you can't see my fullness, but I want you to go over there in the cleft of the rock, and I want you to call on my name. And as you call upon my name, Moshe, in the cleft of the rock, I'm gonna make all my goodness pass before you, and I'm gonna declare my name over you. And when the Lord declared his name over Moses, Moses was filled with revelation light. He knew who God was in his very essence. It wasn't just that Moses heard God's voice, but Moses was filled with revelatory knowledge and light. He knew in his kishkas, in the bottom of his being, who the Lord was. So listen what happens. Moses is in the cleft of the rock. He calls upon the name of Yahweh. He calls upon the name of the Lord. And as he does, God comes to him in his spirit. Listen to what happens as I read now Exodus 34, verse 6 and 7. Hear the word of God. Then Yahweh passed by before him and proclaimed, Yahweh, Yahweh God. merciful and gracious. If you want to know who God is, beloved ones, if you want to know who God is, this is the fullest demonstration of who He is in the entire Torah. Listen, the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in goodness and truth. keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin, but it will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers and the children and the children's children to the third and fourth generation. What do we learn here? that God is first of all merciful. God says, I am merciful and gracious, full of loving kindness and truth, forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin. So God is first of all merciful, tenderhearted. He releases forgiveness. But then God goes on to say, but I will by no means forgive. leave the guilty go unpunished. That's what we have here, beloved, as we come to this point in the book of Revelation. God has waited. He's forgiven. He's called out to the world in loving kindness. The gospel has now been preached to the end of the earth. And everybody that would have responded has responded. The only ones that are left on earth when these seven bowls of wrath fall are those that have permanently hardened their heart against God. What's happening now? God cannot leave the guilty go unpunished. Why? Because he's just. To leave the guilty go unpunished would mean that he's not a just God. If the murderer and the rapist and the child abuser never turned to God for forgiveness and God didn't punish them, where would the justice be? He wouldn't be a just God, but he is a just God. But he's first of all merciful. That's why we see here in Exodus 34 that the Lord begins by saying, I am merciful and gracious. He wants to extend mercy. Jesus said He did not come to judge, but to save. But for those that won't receive, beloved ones, His mercy, there's nothing left for them but a fearful and terrifying expectation of judgment. Mark my words, no one will escape. Either you and I turn to Jesus and repent, If we don't, beloved, there's nothing left but this type of judgment that we've read about this today. The scripture tells us what will happen to those who neglect such a great salvation. This is why it's so important to get serious in your life about Jesus today, because these things, beloved, are happening and they're going to happen soon. We need to be covered by the blood of Jesus. We need to be covered and protected because we're abiding in him. Listen, God has got such good plans for his beloved ones. Eye has not seen and ear has not heard the things that he's prepared for those that love him. But for those beloved that turn their back, there's nothing left for them but to pay the penalty for their sin because they wouldn't receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus. I want to encourage you, share this message. Those people in your family that don't know Yeshua, you've got to tell them, beloved, to repent. Because if they harden their heart today, tomorrow may be too late for them. Beloved, let's be his witnesses. He's coming back soon. Shalom, beloved, and I hope this brings you joy. I'm your host, Dustin Roberts, and this program is produced and sponsored by Discovering the Jewish Jesus. Be sure to join us next time when Rabbi Schneider explains why mercy and judgment must prevail. That's Wednesday on Discovering the Jewish Jesus.
This episode of 'Discovering the Jewish Jesus' provides an eye-opening exploration of God's double-edged nature, showcasing both His mercy and justice through the lens of Revelation's plagues. Rabbi Schneider helps listeners comprehend the escalating severity of the judgments from seals to bowls, emphasizing the necessity of returning to Christ before it's too late. Dive into a study of deep theological significance and understand your place in the prophetic timeline.
SPEAKER 01 :
Hello and welcome to Discovering the Jewish Jesus. I'm Dustin Roberts, your host today as Rabbi Schneider shed some light on the 21 judgments of Revelation, helping us understand our future today. The seals, the trumpets, the bowls, these are the judgments that will be released upon the world in the last days. But instead of letting these judgments instill fear in us, Jesus wants us to rest in his peace. So today, Rabbi Schneider is going to look at these judgments and explain why it's important for us to keep our hearts and our minds focused on the Lord. He'll also encourage us to help people around us repent, to be prepared for what's to come. There's lots to discuss, and if you've got your Bible handy, our primary text can be found in Revelation chapter 8. Rabbi?
SPEAKER 03 :
Jesus told us in both the first and last chapter of the book of Revelation, blessed is he who heeds and studies the words of this book. A very important word that Jesus needs to deposit in all his children's life. If it wasn't important for us to receive the book of Revelation, Yeshua, beloved ones, would not have given it to us. We need to eat this word. We are right now in the midst of a series of God's judgments that will fall upon the earth during the Great Tribulation. I don't have time to go back and review today. We are in the midst of a scene that began in Revelation chapter five, where Jesus opened up a scroll. And when he opened the scroll, the final plagues of the Lord began to fall upon the earth. As I've been saying, as we're reading about these plagues, it sometimes confuses us because we're so used to hearing about the loving Jesus, the Jesus that blessed the children. We're so used to hearing about the meek Jesus that it's difficult for us to embrace this side of Jesus where we see all these really hard judgments coming upon mankind, sores coming upon mankind. Mankind hiding in caves to escape the judgments. People in agony. I mean, tremendous judgment falling upon the world. In fact, the last time that we saw anything even close to this was when the Lord destroyed the world with the flood during the time of Noah. This will be even worse. Men will be being tormented. What we need to understand is this, beloved ones. is that the nature of the Lord is double-sided. I'm gonna show you this later in today's message, but I want you to hear me. God is, first of all, merciful. but He is also just. When these plagues begin to fall, it's because of the fact that those that are remaining on planet Earth have not responded to His mercy. And because they've rejected His mercy, God has no other alternatives but to bring forth His justice and to rid the world of sin. I'm gonna talk more about that at the end of the broadcast. Right now, what I want to do is I want to bring you right back into the midst of the plagues. And then once again, when we get to the end of this discussion, I'm going to put it all together by helping you to understand these plagues as a result to the nature of God, his purpose and his person. I left off last time with the six of the plagues in Revelation chapter six, verse 12 through 17. It is when the sixth seal is broken and the result of that is that there'll be cosmic and ecological disaster. The natural forces that are holding the world and our planet in harmony will break down. In other words, the sun and the moon and the stars will begin to not give their light. The moon will be turned to blood. Things are gonna begin to happen in the universe that are gonna bring plagues and hardship upon the planet. This is talked about in the book of Joel, where he said in the last days, the sun will refuse to give its light. The moon will be turned to blood. Forces like gravity and other, again, natural forces that keep shalom, harmony in the universe will break down, resulting in great destruction. ecological disturbances. I'm going to be moving quickly today because in my previous broadcast on the subject, you began to get the feel. There'll be wars and rumors of wars. There'll be plagues. There'll be disease. There'll be earthquakes. All these things are going to be escalating as we move through the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bulls. Why did I say seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls? Because in the book of Revelation, there are 21 judgments that fall upon the world during the tribulation. And these 21 judgments, as I've been teaching, are broken down into the three categories of seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls. The seals escalate into trumpets and the trumpets escalate into seven bowls. In other words, as these plagues begin to fall upon the planet, they intensify, they get worse. The trumpets are worse than the seals and the bowls of wrath are worse than the trumpets. It gets increasingly worse. I believe that perhaps the reason that the plagues get worse is because God is actually hoping that when these plagues begin to fall, it will cause mankind to repent. But by the time we get to the last of these seven plagues, the last seven of the 21, which are called the bowls of wrath, by the time we get to the final seven plagues, the seven bowls of wrath, it's too late. Mankind is being judged and God's final wrath is being poured out upon the earth in the same way, beloved ones, that he drowned the Egyptians in the sea. He caused the plagues to fall upon ancient Egypt, right? And he told Pharaoh that you need to let my people go. When Pharaoh didn't let the people go, God would pour out a worse plague. And finally, when Pharaoh hardened his heart for the last time, God drowned them all in the sea. In the same way, these plagues will come. People will have an opportunity to return to the Lord. But by the time the seven final plagues come, the seven bowls of wrath, man will be so far gone There'll be no other alternative but for God to destroy sin and eradicate sinners from the earth. We're moving now into these deeper plagues. We've already gone through now the first six seals. At the seventh seal, the seven trumpets are released. Let's read now Revelation chapter 8. I'll be reading verses 1 and 6. When the lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them. So what's happening? At the seventh seal, we are getting ready now to release the next phase of judgments that will begin with, listen now, the seven trumpets beginning to sound. As we move into the next verse, we're going to see the first of these trumpets sound and the plagues will escalate. So we've escalated from the seals to into a more powerful demonstration of God's judgment falling upon the earth as we enter in now to the seven trumpets. Let's look now, beloved ones, at the first trumpet as it sounds. Verse number seven. The first sounded, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And so as the first trumpet sounds, we have hail and fire and blood hitting the earth. You know, I'm thinking about a fire that took place in 1871 in Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. And listen to this. It burned up this fire that hit the earth, burned up a staggering 3.8 percent. million acres of land on the earth. There is going to be natural disaster, beloved, hitting the world like we've never heard before. We hear about raging fires that hit California, wiping out thousands and thousands of acres of land. Beloved, during the Great Tribulation, this type of epidemic is going to be all over the world. It's going to be terrible. The judgment of God The one that holds the earth in his hands is going to reveal, beloved, his judgment against sin and sinners upon the world. Listen, think about it. Does it make any logical sense that God is going to allow mankind to rebel against him forever? Does it make any sense that God is going to allow forever mankind to put his foot up in God's face, rebelling against him, saying that there is no God? No, beloved. Eventually, the judgment of God is going to fall and all mankind will bow to him. Every knee will bow. And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. God's power is going to be revealed. He's been patient for all these years. Eventually, beloved, his patience will stop and his glory will be revealed through these judgments.

SPEAKER 03 :
Let's look at the next trumpet. The next trumpet sounds in the book of Revelation, and we read here that in chapter 8, verse 8 and 9, there'll be oceanic disaster. You know, almost two-thirds of the world is covered by the ocean. When you and I think of the world, we oftentimes don't see the world as being mostly water. Because we live on the land. It just goes to show us how our perception of reality is often not reality at all. Because again, when we think of the world, we think about it as landmass. But two-thirds of the world is actually the ocean. God is going to cause great oceanic disaster to take place. It's going to be unlike anything we've ever seen before. In fact, over and over in the book of Revelation, I'm going to show you John in describing these judgments and what is happening on the earth uses the word something like or like. In other words, there's nothing in the world that he's ever seen before that can be exactly compared to it. All he can say it was, it's something like this. He can't say it's exactly this because he never saw anything like it before. So he says it's gonna be something like this, oceanic disaster, tremendous problem, marine life dying. Can you imagine oceans? filled with dead fish so that the stench of it, it just completely covers the world with the foul, polluted smell of rotten, dead fish. That's what's going to be happening, beloved ones, during the Great Tribulation. As we continue to read, we read in Revelation 8, verse 10 and 11, about toxic water. that the world's water supply is gonna become toxic. So many ways it could happen. We don't know how it's gonna happen, whether it's gonna be through some type of bacteria, whether it's gonna be through oil spills. All we know, beloved, is that the world's water supply is gonna become toxic. It's not that hard to imagine something like this. There are so many ways it could happen. And I wanna tell you, beloved, as a representative of the Lord, it's gonna happen. The good news is as a child of God, God is going to be your sustenance. Even as he fed Elijah during the famine, he's going to take care of his people. Even as he caused water to come out of the rock for the ancient Israelites, he'll be sufficient for his people. He's Yahweh your wrath. He's the Lord, our sufficiency, the Lord, our provider. But these things are going to be happening on the world. Listen, the sun is not going to come out upon the world and shine every day since it has been since the creation of the world. God is calling mankind to repent. He's calling mankind to himself. He's calling mankind to Jesus. And eventually he's going to stop calling and his judgment is going to fall. I'm going to get to that as we continue. We see that there's going to be a darkening of the planetary lights. In other words, we read in Joel and other portions of scripture that the sun will stop giving us light. Things are going to be happening in the planets. God holds the solar system together. He holds the entire universe together. Eventually, he's going to let go. Everything's going to begin to go haywire. Darkness will cover the earth. We see, by the way, these same types of things happen in ancient Egypt where it became dark. I want to go on here to the next one. In the fifth trumpet, we see demonic locusts, chapter 9 of Revelation, verse 1 through 11. John said he saw something like. He kept on saying here, it was something like this. It was something like the head of a man. It was something like he said this. So a couple examples were. He said in verse number five, their torment was like the torment of a scorpion, describing these demonic locusts biting people. In verse number eight of Revelation 9, he says, and they had hair, he said, like, there's that word like the hair of women, and their teeth were like the teeth of lions. He couldn't say they were lion's teeth because they weren't lion's teeth. They were something like what he had never seen before. So we could only use the word like to describe them. I want you to understand, beloved ones, that These phenomenon that John is describing, they seem hard to imagine, but let me ask you this. If God created you, you and me, and there's no question that he created you, right? You know you're alive. You have consciousness. You can walk over to your mirror right now and see your reflection. If God created humanity, should we limit him in thinking he can create other orders of created beings, including these demonic locusts to torment men? No, he can just as easily create anything else as he created mankind. Don't limit God. Don't let yourself say, well, that's not possible just because you've never seen it before. If you exist, then it should be hard for you to believe in any other miracle because you're the greatest miracle of all. The fact that you exist and have consciousness. Then the sixth trumpet sounds and a deadly army is released. This other worldly type of army. And then the seventh trumpet sounds. And beloved, when the seventh trumpet sounds, something incredible happens. God is going to deliver his people from the next storm. set of plagues that are about to be unleashed upon the earth. This final set of plagues are called, listen now, the seven bowls of wrath. Listen, seven seals have taken place. Seven trumpets have sounded. The plagues have got increasingly worse. Now at the seven trumpet, listen, God's people are taken out of the world safely. Then what happens is God's final wrath is poured out upon the earth. And these final seven judgments are known as the seven bowls of wrath. It's too late for man to repent. It's all over. The judgment of God has come. But beloved. I'm preaching today and you're listening because the wrath of God has not come yet. There won't be evangelists like me preaching on television when the seven bowls of wrath are poured out. The scripture says, if today. today you hear His voice, do not harden your heart." You know, the Scripture says that the Lord's Spirit will not strive with man forever. If today you hear His voice, I want you to know that what happens is the Holy Spirit will come to you. He'll come to me. He'll give us an opportunity to respond. But if we don't respond when he comes, beloved, he backs off. See, the scripture says that when God's final wrath is poured out upon the earth, he that restrains, speaking of the Holy Spirit, will no longer be restraining, meaning that when the seven bowls of wrath are being poured out upon the earth at the end of the tribulation, the Holy Spirit's gonna be removed from the world. I want you to hear me. If you're just feeling even subtly right now, the voice of the Lord calling you to himself, maybe you're living in a lifestyle right now and you know that the lifestyle that you're leading is absolutely not God's will for your life. And you hear the truth that's coming, you believe it's true, but you're not sure if you're ready to give your life to Jesus. I'm here to tell you right now, my friend, that if you don't obey him now while you sense him speaking to you, you may not have the grace to obey him later. Meaning this, that we can't just choose to give our life to Jesus whenever we want to. but rather we have to have the grace to give our life to Him. So if God is dealing with you right now, He's giving you grace to turn to Him. You can't say, you know what, I want to lead my life another two years this way, and then I'm going to give my life to Him. Because in two years, your heart may be so hard, you're not going to have it within you to give your heart to Him. So I want to say to you right now, if you're sensing Jesus calling you to Himself, If you're not fully living for them, I want you to know you can't wait. If you're not doing it yet, you may not have an opportunity to do it later. I want to pray for you right now. Father God, I believe that you're speaking to people that are listening to the sound of my voice that have not yet come into a salvation experience with you. They've heard about the book of Revelation. Some of them were raised in church. It puts the fear of God in them. And yet, Father God, they're on the fence right now. They're on the one hand feeling like they need to yield to you. Yet on the other hand, they're feeling, I don't know if I'm ready. Father, right now, in Jesus' name, I call them in. As an ambassador of Christ, Father God, right now, I call in the harvest. Holy Spirit, I ask that you'll knock louder right now on the hearts of those that are listening. Right now, my friends, some of you just felt it. I'm asking you to get on your knees with me. Get on your knee and just say, Jesus, forgive me. I surrender to you. I give you my life. I pledge my life to you right now. I ask you, King Jesus, to come into my heart. Forgive me for my sins. And Jesus, help me find the resolve to follow you. Jesus, I repent. I turn to you. Jesus, forgive me. I ask you to help me right now to lay my life down to obey you. Beloved, I love you. This is the most important decision that you'll ever make in your entire life. In 1 Samuel 2, verse 30, we read this. The Lord says, those that honor me, I will honor. You see, beloved, we receive from that which is on a person when we honor who that person is. The Lord says, those that honor me, I will honor. This is true of the Jewish people as well. The Lord said to Abraham, I will bless those that bless thee. Beloved, I believe there's a supernatural call upon my life and upon this ministry. And by you sowing financially into this ministry, I truly believe that you're going to receive so much more from it. Your financial contribution to this ministry will bring you into a relationship with the anointing that's on this ministry. And beloved, you're going to be blessed. I want to ask you, make a financial contribution today. I'm very confident it will come back to you pressed down and good measure.
