*Sal Cordova: Join Fred Williams and co-host Doug McBurney as they welcome Sal Cordova, who recently published a paper on Structural Bioinformatics through Oxford University Press which relates to today's topic. Sal also published a peer-reviewed reference chapter critical of evolutionary theory through Springer-Nature. That book can be found on secular University Library shelves. He is also presently a PhD student in Bio-molecular engineering, he holds 5 science degrees including Masters in Biology and Applied Physics from Johns Hopkins University, with Undergrads in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Previously He was a Senior Engineer and Scientist in the Aerospace and Defense Industry working for MITRE (Massachusetts Institute of Technology Research and Engineering) and Fort Belvoir Army Night Vision Labs. He is a graduate of Dulles Aviation Flight school and is a licensed pilot. Prior to all this he studied concert level classical piano.
*Somebody Call Me a Doctor: Here Dr. Daniel Stern Cardinale confirm "atheist" Aron Ra's confession that evolutionary biologists are well aware of the fact that proteins share no common evolutionary ancestor.
*The Nature of Things: Hear how Sal Got to give his testimony in an issue of Nature magazine, and how the design evident in God's creation helped rescue his faith!
*An Apostasy of Cowardice: Sal and your hosts discuss the battle creationists, home-schoolers, (and their kids) are in! against not just the principalities and powers in the world, but the "Christian" leaders who are ashamed of the creationist truth that undergirds the Gospel!
*Darwin & The Problem of Evil: Hear how genetic decay, information science, Shannon's noisy channel coding theorem, music and literature, and the observed optimization of biological performance destroy Darwinian evolutionary theory, and are all evidence for the truth of the fall and reveal the problem of evil as it is being solved by the creator God, and his Son Jesus Christ the Savior of the World.
*For the Birds: The Arctic Tern can fly from the North to the South Pole because they appear to sense quantum fluctuations in Earth's magnetic field. When compared to radar and GPS, hear how the bird's eye view proves that man can do engineering good. But God can do it better, (even very good)!
The Gospels are chock full of the messages and miracles Jesus ministered to the multitudes, but He was never too busy to drop everything to minister to just one hurting heart or sick body. When the multitudes pressed Him, the disciples sought to keep them at bay, but Jesus often went out of His way to deliver one captive from his/her prison of pain or shame.
Never was this so poignantly illustrated then when He He went to Samaria to change the life of one sinful woman. When He had uncovered all her shameful past and revealed her secret sin, she ran into the city with great joy to tell everyone Jesus is the Messiah. There is no greater pulpit than a changed life!

Welcome to Called a Freedom. I want you to know that that number is good 24-7. And when I'm through with the program here, Called a Freedom, every day at 1 o'clock I'm live, then that number switches back into the office. So you can call me with any kind of a message, any kind of either praise report or a heart cry, letting me know that I need to agree with you, and I will... If you leave a number, I will call you back and pray with you because that is so important for me to pray with you and have agreement there. Oh, praise God. In these last days, it's just so intense and things are happening more frequently and we've got to have agreement with brothers and sisters. The wonderful scripture in Philippians 4.13, most of us have learned, I can do everything through him who gives me strength. And I really, really like the passion translation of that verse because it doesn't put everything into I, I can do, I can do. No, I can't do anything without him. And the passion translation of Philippians 4.13 says, Oh, my. I love that. The strength of Christ's explosive power goes all through me, infuses me to conquer any difficulty. And wow, some of us have difficulties in this life, but we are more than conquerors. We are overcomers with Jesus Christ. We can't do anything without him. Remember, Jesus is the focal point of all that's going on in this world. God put him in that place, in that place at the right hand of his throne. Let's do the Monday Bible slogan. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I do what it tells me to do. This is my Bible. It has given me new life. It is the Word of God. God Himself spoke this Bible into being. Oh, I am so grateful. I love Psalm 107 verse 20 that says, He sent His Word and and healed me and delivered me from my destruction. Man, I was going down the tubes. I was. And God just picked me up and delivered me into a wonderful marriage, not without problems, but when I was really out on the limb in college. And I had been dating all kinds of guys and all kinds of relationships. Oh, my goodness. And God just saw there was a young woman that was really floating around and not knowing what she was doing. And he just introduced me to this wonderful guy. And we just... We just sang together for 23 years. It was wonderful. And not without, like I told you before, not without problems, not without difficulties. But remember Philippians 4.13, the strength of Christ's explosive power infuses me to conquer any difficulty. When you've got a difficulty, when you're on the verge of screaming out and saying, God, I can't do this any longer. His power is so explosive. It goes right into working for you. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. You are blessed to dispense for in him you live and move and have your being. And I'm reducing the power packs, especially for the holidays, but yeah, even into the new year. I've got a lot of power packs, new power packs, new color, and I'm just going to keep it at the old price. I know a lot of you are experiencing groceries going up and gas going up and everything is going up and we have so many property tax so many price increases but i'm going to just leave the the power pack in the cassette case at five dollars and the power pack with the binding at ten dollars and it's great for either thanksgiving to pass around the thanksgiving table and to read some of those things oh some of those verses and also for christmas So again, $5 and $10 for the Power Pack. And this Saturday, November 9th, the Lord willing, and the weather not being a blizzard, I remember one year, my precious friend picked me up with her friend in a big, huge pickup. And we went to the Agonai for breakfast, and it was blizzarding. And we had 10 at that table. I'll tell you, people love to eat. And if it's good, we will have breakfast again this Saturday. We haven't had breakfast most of the year this year, but we'll have breakfast on a Saturday if the weather is good. And so we're going to have our Call to Freedom meeting this Saturday, November the 9th. and I'm so excited to start the holidays off with great fellowship. And we're going to have a Bible study, wonderful Bible study and music, and then a Thanksgiving lunch. I will be providing the turkey and the scalloped potatoes and the sweet potatoes. So those of you who would like to bring a side dish, and your last name begins with A through M, bring a salad or finger food or, rolls or anything that you would like to bring, because I won't have rolls. And those whose last name begins with N through Z, bring a dessert, your favorite dessert, cookies, pound cake, pie. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. And we're just going to be grateful for all the things God has done for us. Oh, to God be the glory. Please call me at 1-877-917-7256 and come with a thankful heart next Saturday, November the 9th. Oh, praise God. Praise the Lord. The last week, I haven't been listening to any political ads. I don't listen to any of them. I've had hundreds of political ads coming to the emails and texting. I delete, delete, delete, delete, delete, delete. And into the hundreds, yes, I don't look at them. I just don't. I don't even read. Thank you very much. But friends, I don't even read the Christian periodicals and the news that comes on the Christian stations because it has a lot to do with this election. And I'm not going to get anxious or worried. And I have a verse here that is just beautiful for this week. And also, it was yesterday that I said, OK, Lord, what do I give the listeners that will calm their hearts and give them peace and help them to rely on you? And the one word that he said is trust. Tell them about trust, how they can trust me with all their heart. So that's what we're going to do today. We're going to talk about trust. And our memory verse is from Jeremiah 32, verse 17. I just got a booklet of Jeremiah from of the passion. from christianbook.com, and oh, it's just such a blessing to me. So when you can't find a book that is clear to you, and especially the King James Version, oh, friend, there are so many translations out there that you can go to, and don't be afraid of buying a translation. God will provide for you. He loves to have you be in a place point or a time in your life when you can understand see wisdom he gives us wisdom but the understanding comes close behind wisdom you are my sister understanding you're my intimate friend from proverbs so we know that he wants us to understand what we're reading Here's Jeremiah 32, verse 17. Oh, Lord God, thou hast made the heavens and the earth by thy great power and by your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for you. Nothing, nothing, nothing. And oh, was Jeremiah in a good spot in his life? Uh-uh, no. No, he was in dire circumstances, and he was one of the only prophets that were giving true prophecies at that time. Others were just punishing him and tormenting him, and he was like he was all alone in his prophecies about God taking the people to Babylon but blessing them, blessing them as captives. And you can read that in Jeremiah 32. Here's the Passion Translation in Jeremiah 32, 17 through 19. After I had entrusted the deed of purchase to Baruch, son of Neri, I prayed. And God told him to go buy some land. Yeah, they're in the middle of this flux. I mean, being taken to Babylon now. Israel from the northern kingdom had already gone into captivity. Judah was left, and King Zedekiah was an evil king. And so God told him to purchase some land. Now, if you're just about to leave, think that you're about to leave, would you purchase a home or land? I don't think so, but he did. After I had entrusted the deed of purchase to Baruch, son of Neri, I prayed. This is verse 17. Lord Yahweh, you stretched out your mighty arm and created the heavens and the earth by your awesome power. Nothing is impossible with you. You show your loyal, tender love to thousands and thousands, but you also repay the guilt of fathers upon their children. Now, this was Old Testament. Remember that. In the New Testament, we stand before God individually. We cannot stand in the shadow of our father or mother or son or daughter. We stand there and are judged by what we have done and the things that we have sown and have reaped. but you also repay the guilt of fathers upon their children. You are the great and mighty God. Your name is Yahweh, commander of the armies. You surpass all your wise counsel and wise planning. Your miracles reveal your mighty power. Your eyes see everything people do and you repay each one according to what their ways and actions deserve. Oh, I'm so glad for Jesus Christ because he's made a new covenant way for us that we don't have to look to our past. We don't have to be afraid of what we have done in our past. When we confess our sins, God's faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness of the past. Praise the Lord. My confession for today by Rick Renner. I confess that I'm not a one-time sower. Now I know some of you have given an offering and you say, well, that ought to do it for the next five years. Nope. That won't work. It's not as if God needs it, friend. You need it. You need it desperately. I'm going to prophesy. You will no longer look at your offering as a one-time offering. You're going to continually sow into good ground ministries. rick goes on to say i continually habitually sow my seed into the kingdom of god god's word promises that whatsoever a person sows sows sows and sows and keeps on sowing that shall he also reap and reap and reap and reap and keep on reaping into the harvest praise the Lord for Rick Renner. Because I have been faithful in my tithe to the Lord and giving gifts into the kingdom of God, I am now enjoying the harvest that God promised through our giving. If I sow a little, I reap a little. If I sow a lot, I reap a lot. I choose to make my giving one of the most important and consistent things I do in my life. I declare this by faith in Jesus' name. And I want to remind you And you've heard this story over and over again, that when I married Darren, I didn't realize this, but he had a huge TV bill. And it was $1.5 million. He was in debt. He didn't tell me. Thank you, Lord. I probably wouldn't have married him, and then I wouldn't be enjoying these wonderful days of harvest that I'm going through right now. And the first thing after spending five horrible years trying to figure out what we were going to do, yeah, figuring it out, reasoning it out, oh, God, you must want me to do this or want me to do that. And we stepped out. Really, we didn't do that with agreement, and we didn't do that with God's agreement for us until we realized that everything else had been exhausted, every other avenue. And we went to Dr. Grosser. He was so precious. He was an accountant at that time. And we told him about the heavy-duty debt. Even after five years, it just hadn't seemed to come down at all, maybe down to a million in debt. But, boy, when you're talking about a million dollars in debt, it just doesn't just float away, folks. And he said, the most important thing for you to do, and I know you're looking at this debt and you're grieving about it. Don't do that. Don't worry. Don't fret. God's going to take care of it. And I am saying this in five years, you're going to be debt free. And I'll tell you what, he was right on the money. But what we did, he said, now the first thing you do is you tithe on everything that comes in. You tithe that 10% on everything that comes in and don't give anything about the million dollar debt. Everything that comes in, you start tithing and God's going to start multiplying and multiplying and multiplying. Well, when we got into radio in 1996, God began multiplying. Friends, we were right in God's care. Radio had been one of Darren's mediums that he had used since at the age of 40. He went into radio and television. So it just fit him like leather gloves on a hand. Oh, it was beautiful. So I just want to tell you that. You may think, I don't have anything to give. Well, something is coming into your household to keep you in groceries and to keep your bills being paid. You take the first part of what comes into your household. You give that 10% to the place that is feeding you spiritually, church or whatever, into a wonderful place where where you can rely on them to be trustworthy and to be honest and god is going to begin to change your life so that you won't be worried about the bills that can be a disastrous thing for you we don't worry about the bills no when we're in christ jesus we don't worry about the bills praise the lord galatians 6 7-9 says whatever a person sows this will he also reap Do not get weary in well-doing. That's giving, in well-doing, in giving. For in due season, if you don't faint, you will reap a great harvest. I love that, Galatians 6, 7 through 9. And we experience challenges every day, and every day challenges can test our trust in God. Fear and anxiety can rob us of faith. That's why, friend, don't be fearful. Don't be anxious. Don't be worrisome. That's not going to help. It really isn't. The worry is going to affect you mentally and physically. The future may seem uncertain right now, and worry keeps occupying too much room in your hearts and minds. But remember this. God is already in all of your tomorrows. Let me say that again. God is already in all of your tomorrows. He knows all of your tomorrows. He promised he would never leave you or forsake you. And that promise is true. That promise is wonderful. The Bible assures us that he knows our way and he has a plan. We can trust God's way is the best way for us. Oh, this is a verse that I just love from Job. From Job, Job 23, verse 10 through 12. But he knows the way that I take. And when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. Yeah, we got to go through those tests. We do. But when we come through trusting him and relying on him, our lives will come out good. My feet have closely followed his steps. I have kept to his way without turning aside. Oh, yeah, there's been those turnings aside, those rabbit trails. But we come right back. We come right back to the main trail. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness, paths of righteousness. He brings you right back when you've made a mistake or you've gone the wrong way or you've had a relationship that's soured. Then he leads you right back into his path. I have not departed from the commands of his lips. I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread. Oh, how exciting. How exciting. And for Job to hear that from God. Oh, I know the way that you take Job. And at the end, you're going to come out better than you were at the beginning, which he did. Trust means putting your life into his hands, yielding everything to him, depending on him and relying on him. And trusting in God can be a challenging concept, especially during times of uncertainty or difficulty. However, many Bible verses offer encouragement and guidance for those seeking to deepen their faith and trust in God and their life. I've collected some of my favorite Bible verses about trusting God that will reassure your faith in him and bring a new spring of hope into your step. And here is the verse that most of you already know. If I said, OK, what verse do you know about trust? What are you going to say? Okay, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him and he shall direct your path. That's Proverbs 3, 5. Now, in the message, Proverbs 3, 5 through 12 says, says this, trust God from the bottom of your heart, all your heart. Don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go. He's the one who will keep you on track. Don't assume that you know it all. Run to God, run from evil. Your body will glow with health and your very bones will vibrate with life. Honor God with everything you own and give him the first... remember this, give him the first and the best, not the leftovers. Give him the first and the best. Barbara, I'm not always talking about money, and you know that. I don't talk about money very often. and give him first and best of your life, of your income, of everything that comes in. Well, all I have is a social security check. You give him first 10% of that social security check. Well, if I do, then I will run out of money and I won't be able to pay my rent and I won't be able to buy groceries. See, you're doing all the notes, all the don'ts and the no's. You're doing all of that on your own mind and your own mindset and your flesh and your carnality. Yes, you are. You're doing it through reason, and God isn't a reasoning God. He's a God who says, nothing is impossible with me, and nothing is too difficult for me. Oh, I just wish I could sit down with you and tell you what God has done. The little things that he has done for my life and the big things that he has done for my life. And yes, it seemed like I was going to run out of money. But that isn't what makes God tick. No, that's not money. Money has a root in the spirit of mammon. It's a spirit and an evil God in the Old Testament, and most people live by the spirit of mammon. Oh, God bless you, friend. I pray that your eyes will be open. Verse 10 of Proverbs 3 says, Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over. You'll have so much, but don't fear. Don't fear, dear friend, and don't resent God's discipline. Don't sulk under his loving correction. It's the child he loves that God corrects. A father's delight is behind all this. And I can say with you, no condemnation, no more condemnation. Condemnation, no regrets. Oh, it's not I shouldn't have done that or I shouldn't have bought that. I've done that so many times. Oh, I shouldn't have bought that. Oh, look, now my account is drained. Depend on God, my friend. Trust him. Challenge. Challenge him. Say, test him. Yes, he'll come through every time. Praise the Lord. Oh, I've got so many trust verses. Oh, and it's getting down to the wire. I can't believe this half hour is gone. Dallas has such a beautiful song. I've never been out of his care. And I love this song. And here's Dallas home.
SPEAKER 03 : 23:02
The eyes of God are upon me. He sees everything I do. The arms of God are around me. Be safe and secure. And he knows where I am every hour of every day. He knows each thought I think. He knows each word that I might say. And although there were times I stepped out of His will, I've never been out of His care. This changing world delights me With war, with sin, with strife But my loving Father charms me knows where I am every hour of every day he knows each thought I think he knows each word that I might say and although there were times I stepped out of his will I've never been out of his care I've never been out
SPEAKER 01 : 25:44
That's beautiful. And earlier this year in January, Linda went home to be with the Lord. And I'm sure it was a big hole in Dallas's heart, just as those of us who have experienced loss in our life of loved ones, especially husbands and wives, you know how it feels. But my friend, just fill that hole up with the Word of God. Those who know his name, those of you who know his name and put your trust in him, you will never be forsaken. Never, never, never, never. I want you to realize and be assured of that. I'm going to have more verses to cover on this important week that we have. Whatever the outcome, no worries. No worries. God's going to take care of you. I might even give you a short story on what Jeremiah was going through and telling the people before he went into Jeremiah 32, 18 and Jeremiah 29, verse 11. So bear with me. Come in tomorrow and listen to the broadcast. And I believe you'll be blessed by it. Remember the meeting on Saturday. Call me at 1-877-917-7256. God bless you and keep you and take joy.

Sadly there are many with no delight in God—no joy, no pleasure. How could this be and especially when it was those who once had such delight? A study from Jeremiah so needed today.
