Bonhoeffer: A Hero Then and Now – II

While Dietrich Bonhoeffer is known as the courageous German pastor who spoke out against the evil of Adolf Hitler, he also became a spy who sought to assassinate the dictator. He wrote, "We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself." On today’s edition of Family Talk, Eric Metaxas, author of Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy, describes him as an obedient disciple of Jesus Christ who understood that the believer is called to die to self and trust God in every circumstance.
