Welcome to call the freedom. It was for freedom that Jesus set you free. I’m so glad I can tell that to you today over the radio waves. Here’s a verse of promise. I mean full of promise.
00:01:17 Barbara Carmack
From first Peter one verse eight, though you have not seen him. You love him, and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible.
00:01:29 Barbara Carmack
And glorious joy. Oh, what a great verse of.
00:01:32 Barbara Carmack
And I’m glad that you’ve accepted Jesus Christ. And if you haven’t, all you need to do is Father. God, I thank you that you have made a provision for me in my sinful state. I accept you, Lord Jesus, as my savior and Lord. That’s it. You can pray like that and become an A Christian.
00:01:52 Barbara Carmack
Become a believer in Jesus Christ and we’re going to see you in heaven. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Oh, you are blessed to dispense for in him. You live and move and have.
00:02:02 Barbara Carmack
They’re being and we’re going to have a meeting this Saturday, July 13th and we’re going to be singing songs of freedom. We’re all also going to have a really good Bible study on favor. Oh, we all need favor and it’s going to be warm. Probably can fry eggs on the pavement, but we’re going to have hoagie sandwiches in the shade.
00:02:22 Barbara Carmack
On the patio so you don’t have to worry about that. We’re going to have all the fixings for wonderful hoagie sandwiches. I think they’ll be better than subway. So come and enjoy the wonderful day of freedom that you have in Jesus Christ.
00:02:37 Barbara Carmack
And you can call me at 187791772560 and if you’d like to bring a side for those sandwiches and your name, last name begins with A through M bring a salad. And those whose last name begins with N through Z bring a dessert and God bless you. Hope to see you Saturday. It’s going to be fun and I want to.
00:02:58 Barbara Carmack
Welcome you to the program, Kimberly, do.
00:03:00 Barbara Carmack
Well.
00:03:02 Kimberly
Ohh, we’re so blessed to be able to celebrate the freedom that Jesus has given us. Wow, I’m I wish I could be there with you to celebrate with you this Saturday. You’re going to have a good meeting, mom.
00:03:13 Barbara Carmack
Me too.
00:03:16 Kimberly
Going to be good.
00:03:17 Barbara Carmack
Absolutely. When God is there.
00:03:21 Barbara Carmack
Where two are gathered in my name there I will be in the midst of them, and I just I think of that so often.
00:03:26 Barbara Carmack
God is there whether you’re one or whether you’re 20, or whether you’re 20,000. He’s there. Praise the.
00:03:27
Yeah.
00:03:32
OK.
00:03:33 Kimberly
Lord, you know and and on that subject, when we do gather together, there’s so many different personalities. Right. So sometimes there’s some chaos in the gathering.
00:03:46 Kimberly
And as we all learn to become more humble, to become more like him when our main goal and our focus is to become more like our Lord.
00:03:58 Kimberly
Then all the different personalities and opinions they complement one another. Instead of creating chaos and confusion.
00:04:07 Barbara Carmack
Oh yes, that’s right. Wow, yes.
00:04:10 Kimberly
I love that. I love that and and I just want to be talking today about how we can look toward that because I believe that is how we bring the Kingdom of heaven to this earth. When we pray, thy will be done, thy Kingdom come and thy will be done in heaven as it is on Earth.
00:04:30 Kimberly
On Earth, as it is in heaven, I’m getting these mixed up today. I think it’s all the fumes in the house. I’m I’m smelling that stain as it’s going on the cabinet doors that glaze.
00:04:41 Barbara Carmack
Well, don’t, don’t lose consciousness.
00:04:46 Kimberly
I know that’s happened to me before, right? Right. I’ve I’ve got air going and I have some essential oils in a diffuser here, so it’s going to be all right, but I just, I thank you all. As you’re listening today that you have grace and understanding for what?
00:05:00 Kimberly
I’m saying when we pray.
00:05:04 Kimberly
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven when we pray that we’re asking for God’s ways to take over, because we are born into this world, we’re born into sin. So we are we’re born into chaos and confusion and our personalities.
00:05:24 Kimberly
Can start conflicting with others. What we want is to see how we complement one another.
00:05:31 Kimberly
And we can handle situations and relationships according to the Kingdom of heaven when we learn of the Lord, wait on the Lord, and learn to Minister to The Lord in our lives.
00:05:47 Kimberly
I I was reading Romans 8/18.
00:05:51 Kimberly
It says I am convinced that any suffering we endure, so that’s any conflict, any confusion, any loss, any suffering that we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory.
00:06:09 Kimberly
That.
00:06:10 Kimberly
Is being unveiled within us. The magnitude of glory that is being unveiled within us is God’s Kingdom coming to us. That’s a beautiful, beautiful thought.
00:06:27 Kimberly
And that I I was letting you know earlier that we we had a loss in our community. I may have mentioned it last week.
00:06:34 Kimberly
Seek a prominent Dr. passed away and it was very unexpected and in the grief I’ve heard reports being said of him, how many lives he has saved, how many people he has helped, how many addicts he has set free from their.
00:06:55 Kimberly
This is how the reports are being told that this doctor has done so much good and that’s wonderful. It is wonderful. He is born again. I know. I will see him in heaven. His whole family born again believers and.
00:07:10 Kimberly
I they’re precious to me. He was precious to me. Also, the reports began to hurt my heart a little bit. Now I’m not holding it against them at all. I really trust God’s mercy is just covering them as they’re giving these reports. But they’re forgetting to men.
00:07:29 Kimberly
God, they’re they’re talking about this doctor being the one who healed these people. This doctor is the one who set the addicts free. This doctor is the one who brought so much help and helped to bring wholeness to families who were struggling.
00:07:47 Barbara Carmack
Yes, it couldn’t have been done without Holy Spirit. It couldn’t. No, it couldn’t have.
00:07:51 Kimberly
No, no. It is our Lord who gives us a gift of healing in our hands, a gift of healing in our words.
00:08:01 Kimberly
And the gifts of music or the gifts of art that come through our hands, or even like the contractor that’s working in my home today, the gift he has of repairing and putting, you know, glazes on cabinet doors. That’s that those are gifts that come from our creator.
00:08:20 Kimberly
From our Lord, from the one who made us, he’s the author and finisher of all of our stories. And so he is the one who has gifted us with these gifts and helps us bring.
00:08:33 Kimberly
Life and healing to others, but it’s him. Through us. He is the one who brings the healing and I don’t want to.
00:08:38 Barbara Carmack
That’s right.
00:08:40 Barbara Carmack
Remember.
00:08:41 Kimberly
Take any credit for that. Ever.
00:08:42 Barbara Carmack
No, no. Remember when they were building the temple and this young man, Hiram, he was so gifted in weaving and in metals he was a silver medalist. He did. He was in charge of it. And I’m sure he got other men to help. But he was a vessel used by God to help build that beautiful temple.
00:08:53 Kimberly
Yes.
00:09:03 Barbara Carmack
The same way with the Doctor Who who’s just passed. He was a vessel used by God.
00:09:05 Kimberly
Yes, yes.
00:09:08 Barbara Carmack
Yes.
00:09:09 Kimberly
I’m so glad you brought that up. The Lord is the one who anointed Hiram to do all of that work in the temple. The work that needed to be done. That was so glorious and so beautiful. That was an anointing on a human life. And it was God working through him to bring that beauty and.
00:09:15 Barbara Carmack
Yes, yes.
00:09:26 Barbara Carmack
Yes.
00:09:29 Kimberly
The temple ministry was original.
00:09:32 Kimberly
The IT it it was put in place to Minister to the Lord. The temple was built so that there would be a meeting place to Minister to the Lord to keep the relationship with the Lord Strong and the temple, if you’ll remember that.
00:09:44 Barbara Carmack
Yes.
00:09:52 Kimberly
That tent temple that was first built at Sanctuary Tabernacle that was first built in the wilderness.
00:10:02 Kimberly
It it faded away when Solomon built a really magnificent temple. And what’s interesting is Solomon Solomon.
00:10:14 Kimberly
Was the one who.
00:10:15 Kimberly
Was anointed to bring that temple into existence, right?
00:10:20 Barbara Carmack
Yes, yes, because his father was a man of blood and God said I want your son to build my temple. Yes, we’ve got to remember that.
00:10:29 Kimberly
I I think I have some other thoughts on that too, David.
00:10:34 Kimberly
David had such a heart relationship.
00:10:38 Kimberly
With the Lord, that was unlike any other.
00:10:43 Barbara Carmack
And you had to clear the way. Get rid of all of the enemies of Israel. He had a purpose, a grand purpose. David did a man after God’s own heart. God loved him. But then he was a warrior.
00:10:52 Kimberly
Yeah.
00:10:54
Yes.
00:10:57 Barbara Carmack
And Solomon was a man of a gentleman. So.
00:10:58 Kimberly
Yes.
00:11:02 Kimberly
Yes, a man of peace. But look what happened to him. He indulged himself. Talk about indulging yourself. You know, Solomon indulged himself with every good and wonderful thing that would come along.
00:11:03 Barbara Carmack
Yes. Ohh yes.
00:11:09 Barbara Carmack
Yes.
00:11:17 Kimberly
And that’s including all the women I how in the world, it’s just so many. So the women, the gold, the silver, the jewels, the the Peacocks and apes from other countries, just bringing things and spices that were from all over the world flooded in.
00:11:38 Kimberly
To Solomon’s reign into his domain at that time, and he indulged in all of it. He had every luxury and every pleasure that this world offers.
00:11:52 Barbara Carmack
Yes.
00:11:53 Kimberly
I was reading in James James 5.
00:11:56 Kimberly
Five and we’re, and we’re going to back up and go to James four. Also James, 55, says that you have indulged yourselves with every luxury and pleasure this world has to offer. But you’re only stuffing your heart full for a day of slaughter.
00:12:13 Kimberly
That’s a a really vivid way to put that.
00:12:18 Kimberly
And you and I were talking about how careful we are with our words because we don’t want to offend anyone. But wow, you just have to hear it this way. This.
00:12:25 Kimberly
Is from the.
00:12:26 Kimberly
Word of God when we are stuffing our heart full.
00:12:30 Kimberly
There’s no room for the Lord himself, so there does have to be a dying.
00:12:37 Kimberly
There has to be some kind of this, says slaughter in the word of God, you’re preparing yourself for slaughter here. You’re stuffing yourselves just so that that will be done away with.
00:12:48 Kimberly
And.
00:12:48 Kimberly
Then you will taste of the Lord. You there will be room for him when those things pass away, there will be room for God. I think that’s the point that I wanted to make about David. His heart was so sold out for the Lord Solomon built the temple and it it started a new era.
00:13:09 Kimberly
That temple started moving away from True ministry to the Lord.
00:13:15 Barbara Carmack
Mm-hmm.
00:13:16 Kimberly
And it did. It did eventually get crushed by the enemies of Israel because they were falling away from ministering to the Lord. They weren’t staying in the Lord’s presence and wanting God’s ways in their lives. And so then that temple was destroyed.
00:13:36 Kimberly
And when?
00:13:38 Kimberly
Jesus was on this earth.
00:13:41 Kimberly
They were referring to the temple a little bit more by the word synagogue, so I’ve made this differentiation just in my own mind. I’m not saying this is for everyone, but in my own mind, I think of the temple as a sanctuary, a place where the Lord can come and be ministered to. That’s who we are.
00:14:02 Kimberly
We are temples of the Holy Spirit and we were created to be a sanctuary for the Lord to come put up his feet and visit and feel at peace and feel the friendship with us.
00:14:15 Kimberly
The synagogue turned into more of a place of teaching and administration, and it’s not that it’s wrong we there is a season for teaching and that is why the Lord allowed the temple to fade away and a synagogue to take its place, because there’s a season where we all need to be taught and we need to hear the teaching.
00:14:36 Kimberly
And we need the administration part of applying.
00:14:41 Kimberly
The word of God applying his ways and his rules to our lives. So we go through that season, hopefully that season is leading us to deeper relationship with the Lord.
00:14:54 Barbara Carmack
That’s right, yes.
00:14:56 Kimberly
Why is this important? This is important to me. It’s so important to me because in my everyday relationships, I I have friends and family members and people that I run into, whether it’s at Walmart.
00:15:08 Kimberly
Who tell me that they’re going through something that’s really difficult, a situation, a relationship, a health issue. I know someone who has nodules on her thyroid. She’s a wonderful singer. And these nodules on her thyroid were discovered in an X-ray. And she had felt some pressure.
00:15:29 Kimberly
Well now.
00:15:30 Kimberly
She can’t get that out of.
00:15:32 Kimberly
Her.
00:15:32 Kimberly
Head. You know, she’s constantly thinking about. Ohh. There’s something in my throat and it’s preventing me from singing the way I like to sing and bless her heart. It’s it’s something that she can either choose to go down a path of worry or she can take them before the Lord and say this voice is yours.
00:15:32 Barbara Carmack
Yes.
00:15:34 Barbara Carmack
Yes.
00:15:48 Barbara Carmack
Yes, it’s.
00:15:51 Barbara Carmack
It’s overtaken. Her thinking. Yeah. So she can’t get the answer. She’s got the problem there, but she can’t help get the answer. And that’s.
00:16:00 Barbara Carmack
To God it’s giving him the glory and looking at what he sees in us, we are righteousness. We are sanctified. We are holiness to God. So. Oh yeah, I there are many people that look at the problem rather than the answer. Yes.
00:16:07 Kimberly
Yes.
00:16:09 Kimberly
Yeah.
00:16:12 Kimberly
Yeah.
00:16:15 Kimberly
Right. And it happens to all of us. I I know someone who was just recently in a car accident and trying to work out the the car was really badly damaged. It really does need to be fixed.
00:16:18 Barbara Carmack
It does. It does.
00:16:28 Kimberly
And trying to work all that out between the insurance companies, you know and then starting to think, OK, wow, that might not be enough. I might need a lawyer. I might. You know, you start going down these paths in your mind because it’s hard to let go of all the thoughts. So everything you’re trying to work out, you know, and you’re wanting to find an answer.
00:16:38 Barbara Carmack
Oh yeah.
00:16:49 Kimberly
Well, there’s the world’s way of bringing the answer, and there is God’s way. Yes. And they are very different from one another. And let’s go to James for now.
00:17:04 Kimberly
In James Chapter 4, it describes us as being unfaithful to the Lord because of our relationship with the world. And that’s just where we that’s that’s how it’s supposed to happen. By the way. You know, we walk through a season of being unfaithful so that we know what that looks like and.
00:17:23 Kimberly
Feels like so that when we come to being faithful to the Lord and we can have that relationship that is so wholehearted and it ministers to the Lord and it ministers back to us the peace.
00:17:38 Kimberly
Piece of that. The joy in that is indescribable. There are no words for the kind of peace and joy that brings.
00:17:47 Barbara Carmack
That’s right, I get so many, Kimberly, and you probably do too. So many emails from listeners and from friends and God bless them. I I love them. And along with the emails comes all of these articles about what’s going to happen and the dread that’s coming to the country. And if we don’t vote or if we don’t.
00:18:08 Barbara Carmack
Do this, then it’s the left is going to take over. I don’t need those kind of emails. I I’m sorry. I don’t need those kind of emails. And in those emails there is not one scripture, one scripture about the holiness of God and how he sees the future in victory. So I I just blessed.
00:18:25 Barbara Carmack
Hmm.
00:18:28
Yes.
00:18:28 Kimberly
So let’s go to the Scripture now. Yes. So James 4.
00:18:33 Kimberly
Yeah, describing us and our relationship, the difference between the relationship to the world and the the relationship with the Lord. It says in verse 4 here. Don’t you know that flirting with the world’s values places you at odds with God?
00:18:42 Barbara Carmack
Mm-hmm.
00:18:51 Barbara Carmack
Wow.
00:18:51 Kimberly
Whoever chooses to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy.
00:18:59 Kimberly
And verse five goes on to say, does the scripture mean nothing to you that says the spirit that God breathe into your heart is a jealous lover who intensely desires to have more and more of you?
00:19:17 Kimberly
Yeah, you know, it’s hard because it feels an intangible it. It doesn’t feel like a tangible relation.
00:19:27 Kimberly
Worship, though, when we sit and wait on the Lord and Minister to the Lord, making ourselves a place, a sanctuary, for him to come and enjoy friendship.
00:19:41 Kimberly
When we do that, it is so fulfilling that everything else pales in comparison. It’s less than nothing like Romans 818 says. It’s less than nothing that health situation, that car accident, whatever. You’re in the middle of is less.
00:20:00 Kimberly
Then nothing compared to this glorious, magnificent presence.
00:20:07 Kimberly
But wants to be friends with you.
00:20:09 Barbara Carmack
Yes, I wonder if people realize the scriptures like Psalm 16, verse 11. He knows that my pathway of life and in his in his presence in his presence, is fullness of joy. Do people just not want the fullness of joy? I’m sure they do.
00:20:28 Kimberly
But.
00:20:29 Kimberly
Oh yes, we do. But we all have the greatest ideas of.
00:20:32 Kimberly
How to get?
00:20:32 Barbara Carmack
There. OK. I I understand. I agree with that. Yes, if you Lord, if you could just do this for me. Lord, I need this and not come into his presence. Like you’re saying, Kimberly, it’s.
00:20:47 Kimberly
Yeah. Well, we haven’t been taught how to, you know, in the synagogue, temple or a template in the template of the synagogue. There’s a lot of teaching and administration, but we haven’t really been trained how to just be in his presence and wait on him and enjoy him. We haven’t really been taught.
00:21:06 Kimberly
That and so that’s where we’re all going to have to lean on the Lord to reveal to us, to lean on Holy Spirit, to reveal to us how to do that individually in our homes on a daily basis. James 4 verse five goes on to say that he continues.
00:21:27 Kimberly
To pour out more and more grace upon us. So even though we have turned and we’re at odds with God because we’re flirting with the world’s values, you know we flirt with the world’s way of doing it to to go to the doctors and to consider all you know, the biopsies and maybe chemotherapy to consider what the insurance could do for us with our.
00:21:48 Kimberly
Car accident and maybe getting a lawyer to consider these things. Yes is not wrong.
00:21:54 Kimberly
You know, hear my heart on this. It’s not wrong to consider those things. Go ahead and put them in the balances and ask the Lord. Wait on the Lord with those things. Ask him what he would have you do because he is the one who wants to lead you in this journey in this life. And so.
00:22:14 Kimberly
He will continue to pour out more and more grace upon you as.
00:22:18 Kimberly
You learn to rest in him, learn to wait on him and not just go straight to the world’s ways of doing it.
00:22:27 Barbara Carmack
That’s right. It’s like verse six. What is this? And the message that I that I typed out and what he gives in love is far better than anything else you’ll find.
00:22:39 Barbara Carmack
What he gives in his love is better than anything else you’ll find and.
00:22:44 Kimberly
So good, it’s true.
00:22:44 Barbara Carmack
Isn’t it? Yes.
00:22:47 Kimberly
It’s true, and I think my verse six says God resists you when you’re proud, but he will continually pour out grace more and more grace when you are humble. So coming to him and coming to his ways, ministering to the Lord, that’s a relationship.
00:23:00 Barbara Carmack
Oh, that’s so good.
00:23:08 Kimberly
And it considers him it’s not different than friendship or marriage, you know, in a friendship or in a marriage relationship where two people are working together to listen to one another and to.
00:23:22 Kimberly
To minister to each other, you know, to be there for one another when that relationship is working with two listeners. It’s beautiful. It’s amazing. It’s very fulfilling, very satisfying. But when there’s a relationship that that one is dominating another.
00:23:41 Kimberly
And the other is subjugated to that very dominant person.
00:23:45 Kimberly
It’s not necessarily harmonious it it’s not unity and harmony that the Kingdom of God is built on. I’m very thankful that we all have each other to practice the fruits of the spirit with, you know, and and it is. It can be very challenging.
00:23:54 Barbara Carmack
Right, yes.
00:24:01 Barbara Carmack
I love that word practice.
00:24:05 Barbara Carmack
Oh yes, it can be so many, so many different personality.
00:24:09 Barbara Carmack
Like when we get together for the meeting, each one of the people that attend the meeting have such different backgrounds, different experiences, and their personalities are so different. So we have to come together and appreciate each one and have grace for grace. That word, grace, is so good for each one.
00:24:10
Hmm.
00:24:25 Kimberly
Yeah.
00:24:28 Kimberly
Yes.
00:24:29 Kimberly
Yes. And I was in a conversation yesterday and it it just ended up in the one the one trying to dominate. I I really try to be a listener, but when someone else is, is dominating in such a way that I’m like, OK, all I’m hearing is no, no, no this. No.
00:24:50 Kimberly
And it it’s becoming more and more.
00:24:52 Kimberly
Actually, I come away and I I even have a different view of the world. I I start feeling like I went to Walmart after this conversation and I felt like everybody at Walmart was against me. It it was just the weirdest thing. How it changed the way that I was viewing all of life and.
00:25:06 Barbara Carmack
Yeah.
00:25:12 Kimberly
I came back home and just went down on my face.
00:25:15 Kimberly
And said ohh.
00:25:16 Kimberly
Father, this isn’t you. This isn’t your way. Your Kingdom living. I want you to feel like you have sanctuary with me. That there’s not arguing going on. So creating me a place that that wants to be moved by your Holy Spirit. It is the mature children of God.
00:25:36 Kimberly
Who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit.
00:25:40 Kimberly
That is what Romans 8.
00:25:41 Kimberly
Tells us, and I want to be mature so that you can move me by your, by your whisper, by your breath. Let me be moved by you so that I am completely surrendered to you. James, 47, says so. Then surrender to God and he will come even closer to you. Be willing to be made.
00:25:48 Barbara Carmack
Yes, yes.
00:26:02 Kimberly
Lo, before the Lord, and he will exalt you. He’ll work it all out. I just don’t want the Lord to be robbed anymore. I want him to have his sanctuary. And I pray that all of you will catch that same vision today.
00:26:08 Barbara Carmack
Oh, he’ll work.
00:26:17 Barbara Carmack
Praise.
00:26:17 Barbara Carmack
The Lord. Oh, this has been so good. I I know that you have a couple other scriptures that you’re wanting to talk about. And so I invite you tomorrow. Would you be willing to come?
00:26:27
Oh.
00:26:28 Kimberly
I’m happy to come.
00:26:28 Barbara Carmack
Back.
00:26:30 Barbara Carmack
I just enjoyed talking to you. It’s just a pleasure. Yes, and we find companionship in people that don’t talk at us but include us as a wonderful friend and endearing friend that they can. They can have a wonderful.
00:26:34 Kimberly
Thank you.
00:26:45
Yes.

Talks with and so I I appreciate all of you listening that when you talk to a person, don’t try to win them over to your side as much as get them involved in the love that you have with God. It’s so important. Well, thank you, Kimberly. It’s been wonderful. And remember, the meeting on Saturday and Kimberly will be back tomorrow to give us more of this wonderful teaching.
