Welcome to Call to Freedom. Oh, even though these last days are characterized by frequency and intensity, your assignment here as you're listening. Your assignment is to know Jesus and let people around you know Him. That's right, we cannot be silent in these last days. So glorify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together. That's why we're here. That's why I'm with you in wherever room you're at or in the car, wherever you are. We're glorifying the Lord together. We're raising our hands and we're praising Him because He is the King of Kings. Oh, praise the Lord for that. You are blessed to dispense for in Him you live and move and have your being. I say that every day because in Him I live and move and have my being. Yes, we were talking about how that means something to us. Yes. That's not just something that we quote, that we've have memorized and we just like to say it all the time because it's memorized. It actually means something to us. That's right. And when somebody tells us that, oh, you're not going to be able to live with that. Oh, this won't do. Oh, this isn't good enough. Or you're not going to be able to walk if you leave your back in this state. You're going to need surgery for your neck. I've heard these words and you've heard these words. And then when you look at them and you turn your head when they think that you're not even supposed to be able to turn that neck that they see in the X-ray, or they watch you walk or they see different abilities that you have, it's so fun to be able to smile and say, "Hmm, I wonder how I'm doing this then." Yes. I wonder how I'm turning my head when you say that I shouldn't be able to. It must be because in him I live and move and turn my head and have my being. Yes. Oh, and I'll tell you when I'm on that rug and I'm doing stretches in the morning and I hope a lot of you listening or moving, keep moving, keep moving and doing stretches, I'm saying that in Lord in you I live because sometimes in the morning when I get on that rug to do stretches, I don't feel like doing stretches. And it's like he just kind of takes over for me. He takes over and I'm doing my stretches in you I live, in you I move, in you I have my being. The very inner core of my heart is to seek you Lord God. Yeah. So I'm so glad you've been with me all week long. Kimberly, this is fun. Yeah, this is fun. Yeah, this is. This has been so much fun. To just wait on the Lord and wait on my van to be fixed. Yes, that's right. But I know of a new place in case I want to get my car worked on and it's right close to me. Pro auto care. Yeah. I'm just going to say their name shamelessly. Pro auto care. They have not paid us for any advertising but pro auto care. Wow, those guys are great. Yes. What I thought was going to be a $1,900 and that was just for one part and labor at a dealership. They told me it would be 165 total for the part and the labor. And I just thought, okay, thank you so much. This is great. And they are guys. I walked into to see you today because I had to do some, some errands. And so then I went to pro auto to meet up with you because they're keeping the van over. And it's almost done. They did some other little things that needed to be done. And usually that's a mounting bill. But they all looked like they were happy to be there and happy to serve you. Oh, yes. It's so friendly. Yeah. Yeah. Really good group of people there. Yeah. So you were talking about getting on the rug and doing some stretches and it caused me to think of how sometimes I'll be stretching. But then I just go straight down and it just laid out on the floor. And it's a good time to pray, right? And I started asking the Lord to show me how to hear His words because very often when I come here to visit you, mom, I'm delayed in going home or doing anything else because these things come up like this repair that was needed in my van. This leak that was noticed and it needed to be fixed. So that came up, you know, last year we had some things come up. A laser jet printer went out and we needed to attend to that. And then there was also updating all of your communication. Yeah. To your phone, internet, everything. That took a while to sort through it because it had been so many years people had lost information and we couldn't even transfer it over. So it took quite a while. Or the boiler that year before the boiler going out, you know, things delay me and I just was asking the Lord, do I have to be delayed and hearing about your timing through all of this chaos? Or can I hear you differently? Yeah. I want to be able to hear you differently. And then he led me to Micah 27. And Micah, the minor prophets are kind of hard to read because there's a lot of warnings and there's a lot of news that sounds really destructive. But don't you, after reading these wonderful prophets for a while, don't you see a camaraderie and a relationship with them that when you hear the book of Micah, you just have a fondness, a fondness of these precious men of God and a woman, Ruth is mentioned there, Esther. But the ones who actually sat down with their scribes and wrote these books, you just have love for them. A love. Yeah, it's with Micah, especially you start to recognize the way that they write. And Micah loves to ask questions. And after hearing about a lot of iniquity and evil and defrauding, and then the misfortune that follows because God's people are not walking the way he intended them to walk, they're not even looking like him. He's the creator, where his people, we want to look like him, we're made in his image. So after hearing about all of this destruction and misfortune that follows, then these questions are asked in Micah 27. Is the house of Jacob condemned? Is the Lord's patience so short? Is such his practice? Now these questions are being asked because the people don't want to believe that destruction's really coming. So they're asking, "Well, this really happened." And then the Lord speaks and he says, "Well, to be sure, my words are friendly to those who walk uprightly." So these words of destruction sound so bad, they really sound horrible and it can be overwhelming to hear that this is coming, you know, that the fire is coming. And it will burn out the wicked. It's hard to hear that. But those same words are very friendly to those who walk uprightly. The very same words because those who walk uprightly actually want that wicked taken out of them. God does say though that my people have arisen as an enemy right here in verse 8. My people, my chosen people have come against me. And we see that. And that's where those are friendly words to us when we realize, "Oh, I don't want to be an enemy to go." So thank you for pointing that out because I really do want to be on your side. I was created to be your perfect partner. And I want to know how to hear your voice and walk in it. Yes. Walk in what you're telling me. And I'd like to do that without all the chaos and destruction. I'd like to be able to do that without the delay and just hear what you have to say about my trip here. And so now I'm taking this over into my current day and what's happening right here. I would like to hear you without all the chaos and destruction. Can we not have a boiler go down and can we not have a van that needs to be fixed? Can I just hear your voice? And I don't mind the distractions of these other things. I've learned to be very patient with them and just roll with it when it happens. But I'd like to hear you differently. And I love that I asked that because then when the Lord was showing me these scriptures and he says to be sure, my words are friendly to those who walk uprightly. And to find out that he speaks through his prophets, he speaks in many different ways. He then led me to Hebrews 1-1. And it says in Hebrews 1-1, throughout our history, God has spoken through his prophets in many different ways. The revelation he gave them was only a fragment at a time building one truth upon another. When we come to this place where we really trust him, then these things that happen that might look like delays or distractions or destruction even, we can look up and say, "Well, what do you want to do in the midst of this? How do you want to handle this?" And that excites me because when I see what happened with my mini van this time, I'm so patient about it, it doesn't bother me really. I also see that there are connections being made where other people, like you, might need to know where to take a vehicle. Our vehicles are going to age and they are going to break down. And that's just the nature of this world. That's how it happens. They get older. I know. It's a scientist. Close my ears. Close my ears. I don't want to hear it. The good news is that there is actually a shop that says or a website that said "break down." Every time I hear that commercial, I turn the channel. Because no, you're not going to break down. You're not going to break down. But basically you are right, Kimberly. Generally speaking, you are right. When a vehicle gets older enough. And you mentioned that shop and here we're throwing out names of commercials and all kinds of stuff. You break I-Fix is the name of a place where we take our phones when we break them. Honestly, I know it's the name of a shop, but that is who our God is. You break it I-Fix. I fix it. That's so good. And this earth is a realm where things are going to break. When we get to the heavenly realm, things won't break anymore. But here they do. And so you break I-Fix. That's how God looks at it. And we can bring it to Him and He does. We can always hear another message rather than just the destructive part of it. This time, being able to hear that maybe I need this connection with this pro-auto care for the future. When I'm here again, maybe you might need it. Maybe someone listening might need this contact number. Really honest people. That's what connection is all about. We connect with our brothers and sisters because that's advantageous when something happens. Oh, I know it. I know of a place where you can go. Oh, I know how you can take care of this. Yes. And we have brothers and sisters who have been through it. Yes. It's a blessing. And our Lord likes for us to be connected more than just having a smooth and comfortable journey in this life. And sometimes the suffering, the breaking down, those things, they definitely connect us. We want to be connected. That's what we want. Yes. Now you got a couple opinions. I know we're talking mechanics today, but it has to deal with God. Yes. But you had a couple mechanics look at the van and both of them were wrong. So it's good. Oh, Kimberly, this is so another opinion. Absolutely. Right. Second, third opinion. Right. Because you would have paid probably 1900 if you wouldn't have listened to the voice inside of you or your husband in broken arrow who's paying the bills. And said, you know what? I'm going to try the or did he recommend pro. Well, you know what he said go ahead and just have it fixed. We know that the dealer at the dealership, we know that the dealer has the original parts that we want for our van for our Honda. And so he okayed it to be fixed at the dealership. And he was okay with paying the extra money for that. You know, it's not the end of the world husband. Well, but it's not the end of the world, I think, is what we need to tell ourselves. If we have made a choice to go ahead with something that is much more expensive. And we might feel like we got scammed. It's not the end of the world. That's right. It's not our Lord owns it all. Our father in heaven owns it all. Amen. And he is willing to give you back what you need for the future. We cannot dwell friends listening. You cannot dwell on something that you might have made a mistake. Because we know Romans 828 is absolutely true, even for the failures. All things, all things. That is an absolutely abundant scripture to speak. When you feel like you've made a mistake and people have said, you paid how much? And they can't believe that you would pay that. Well, God is your provider, Jehovah Jaira. He's the God that Hebrews one is talking about. He's our all provision in everything. And so the words you paid how much? You know, those words might feel shaming. They might feel like they're putting a guilt complex on you. And we can look at those words and hear them differently. We can hear them. Oh, well, yeah, because my father owns it all. And it's okay that I paid that much. We don't have to hear it in a shaming way. We can hear it in a way where our fathers taken care of it. Yes. And sometimes we make the people who reply to some of our comments. We make them higher than God. And then like the shame comes upon us until we rebuke and bind that spirit of shame. It may dwell with us for years. And so I ask you, you know, if you have shame today in your life and you can recognize that, you just don't feel worthy. You feel like a dumbbell when you're making decisions. You can bind that spirit of fear in Jesus name. I bind that spirit of fear. It will no longer have any effect in my life. And I lose a spirit of your peace and confidence. Lord God, in Jesus name. Yes. That's how we quiet ourselves in His love. And when we are quieted, we're assured we have confidence that truly all things, like you were saying from Romans 8, 28, all things work together for good for those who love Him and walk with Him. We're going back to Micah 27, the way that the Lord Himself says to be sure, my words are friendly to those who walk with me, those who walk up rightly. The good news translation takes this verse from Micah 27 and turns it all into questions. And I really love these questions because it helps us to see the Lord is on our side. It says, do you think His people are under a curse? Do you think God's people are under a curse? Has the Lord lost His patience? That's patience is a fruit of the spirit. Did He lose His fruit? I don't think He ever loses any of His fruit. Would He really do such things? Doesn't He speak kindly to those who do right? And this doing right, if you listen to me at all, you know I'm not real big on works and trying to do the right thing, find the right way, find the right path. Because right, sometimes we have the wrong definition in our head about that word. When we want to be right, we'll kind of get a competitive nature with that. And we'll want to stay in control of something right. When you want to do something right, that might clue you into the idea that you've got a different agenda rather than just walking with Him. That's what doing right is in this. Doesn't He speak kindly to those who do right? Doesn't He speak kindly to those who walk with Him? That just reminds me of the fact that He, the truth that He created, humankind, to walk with Him in the garden. He walked with Adam in the cool of the day, in the garden. That is what He created us for. We're the ones that were given, He gave us the free choice and we were given the choice of whether or not we'd like to continue to hear His words or listen to a snake. And when that snake spoke and it sounded really, you know, it made sense. It made sense when the snake spoke. All of a sudden the fruit looked good. The sight, you saw it with your sight sense. And it looked good. And then it sounded like it was going to be helpful. You with your ears, you're hearing this report. It sounded like it was going to be helpful and make you wise. So why wouldn't you just pick it? Why would you? Right? There's the choice being made, right there. And we have free choice. Are we going to hear and see and respond to our senses or are we going to go with what God has planted in us? We have been made for Him, a royal priesthood. We are made to be His perfect partner and He has planted eternity within us. That's right. And Ecclesiastes 3.11, He's planted that eternity in each person's heart. Yes. All 8 billion people. Do we want to respond to our senses and the brokenness of this world or do we want to respond to what's been planted in our hearts? That eternity that's been planted in us. That's what gets me so excited about walking with Him. What an adventure. Just because we can't see that adventure in this realm just yet. Just because we don't know exactly what it looks like. Doesn't mean it's not going to be grand. I've convinced myself that all my plans and all my dreams are mud puddles compared to His ocean of a dream. And that is still way too small. I don't have any other words to describe it. My description of a mud puddle versus an ocean is too small. It's too small to really compare how great our God is, how beautiful His dreams are and how much He longs for us to be partners with Him in a way that's going to be... There are no words. There are no words. How do you describe what it's going to be like? We can't. What if we just sat here for half an hour without saying a word? Well, a lot of people would just switch to another channel. But some I hope and I believe some of you listening would join us in glorifying and being quiet before God. No phones, nothing to distract us. Just coming before Him. Like you did for those few moments at the meeting last Saturday. Let's quiet our hearts. And it was just such a wonderful, you know, among all the members there wasn't any choking or hiccuping or sneezing or it was so calm and peaceful and quiet. Can we do that for just a few seconds? I know you're not supposed to do that on live on the air. But just take a few seconds to be still and know that He is God right here, right now. Oh, thank you for doing that with us right now. Lord, our hearts long to hear you and know you more. We long for you to have your dream of us being your perfect partner, walking with us in the garden, in the cool of the day. Lord, as this life heats up and we feel the fires and we smell the smoke, we need you. We need the times of refreshing where we can just quiet ourselves in your love and know that you are God. And you have everything under control and you're inviting us to enter this rest, to enter this peace that passes our own understanding. And I sure felt it in those few seconds. I hope the rest of you listening felt that peace and are able to practice that in your home. Just take a deep breath and quiet yourself in His love because He has. He has your concerns in mind and He is working a plan that's better than you can even imagine to work it all out for good. Yes, it's like you were saying in Hebrews 1 today throughout our history. God has spoken to our ancestors by His prophets in many different ways. He knows exactly where you are spiritually today. You may not have been reading the Bible like I have been for almost 50 years or where Kimberly has come from. But God sees you and He values you so much He's willing to go step by step with you until you enter into that holy place. And then it goes on to say the revelation He gave them was only a fragment at a time, a fragment at a time. He's not going to fill your mouth until it comes dribbling out of your mouth. No, He's not going to fill you so much that you you vomit it up. No, He's going to give you a little bit at a time. And isn't it tastier when you don't stuff your mouth full of food and you just take one step at one taste at a time. And enjoy it. Enjoy it. You know, for some of you, if you were sitting with us in that quiet tears may have come. I believe there are some that are afraid of tears and it's really hard to let yourself grieve or to let the tears come. Some of us are taught not to cry, you know, that when you're when you're strong, when you're courageous, courageous, you don't cry. Let the tears come. And something happened to me just this morning and the Lord told me I'm letting this happen to you so that you can talk about this. Tears actually remove obstacles. I was worshiping this morning and the tears. Oh, I just started sobbing with tears of joy. And all of a sudden something really hurt in my eye and I went to the mirror and there was something in my eye that I thought I had pulled out of my eye last week. Oh, my goodness. And it was still there. I thought I had taken care of it. It was still there. It was an obstacle. And the Lord wants you to know that tears will remove obstacles. And that's a spiritual thing. I'm not just talking about something that's caught in your eye. I'm talking about a spiritual thing that tears will remove obstacles in your life. And you will be able to hear his friendly words and how he's working it all for good, how he wants to quiet you with his love and give you a fresh revelation, a deeper revelation of his love for you today. So don't be afraid to just sit. Don't be afraid to let the tears come. It's good. It's healing and restoring. Oh, so good.
