SPEAKER 01 :
welcome to call to freedom it is the great day before the storm oh in colorado we never know especially in the months of march and april we never know what day is going to be 63 degrees and the next day is going to be 20. but we are enjoying god’s world and i hope you are today God loves you perfectly. He does. He sees you as perfect in Jesus Christ. He forgives you completely. As far as the east is from the west, he’s forgiven and forgotten your sins. Hallelujah. And he cares for you constantly. He says, I will never leave you or forsake you. Isn’t that wonderful? In these last days, you know, characterized by frequency and intensity, it seems like every day is more intense than the day before. And that’s why so many of my friends are telling me, oh, I’m watching more news now because you never know what’s going on. And don’t watch more news than you do the Word of God because the Word of God is up to date in every single way it can be up to date. I mean, more verses in the Bible. have been fulfilled in our time and in the days before, even before I was born, fulfilled. And to the last detail, that’s what’s so beautiful about it. So we’re going to find out that, you know, Jesus is collapsing the time and multiplying the anointing as Darren taught for so many years. And we’re going to see a mighty outpouring of Holy Spirit in these last days. Let’s do the Monday Bible slogan. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I do what it tells me to do. Oh, I hope so. We hope so, Lord. This is my Bible. It has given me new life. It is the Word of God. And Darren always said, God has more provision than you have need. That’s right. He does. You may think that your need won’t be met, but believe God. Believe him right now. Just believe him. If you believe that Jesus is the son of God, if you believe that you are born again and you have made Jesus your savior and Lord. then you can have the faith to believe God will always take care of you, because hasn’t he? You are here. Hasn’t he already taken care of you? Oh, praise the Lord. You are blessed to dispense, for in him you live and move and have your being. That’s from Acts 17, verse 28 in the New Testament. I’m sure you’re tired of hearing about the blow-up in the Oval Office between Zelensky, President Trump, and Vice President Vance. I want to spend just a few moments here to try to persuade those of you who are on the fence about what happened. I realized, as many people did, that this discussion should have happened behind closed doors because we know that President Zelensky is not one of President Trump’s favorite people. You know, we’ve got our favorites. We’ve got our best friends. We’ve got BFF. We’ve got people that we love to be around and spend time with because we’re on the same page with them. Well, President Trump, even though they see things in a different way, President Trump welcomed this man who had received billions. He and his country had received billions of aid from the United States, 300, over 300 billion. So, I mean, I can’t even comprehend that. I can’t. I can’t comprehend a million. So this is really something. President Zelensky, God bless him, you know, he stepped into a world in the Oval Office where everyone was set. Everyone had planned for the signing of this contract that they were going to sign for rare minerals. They were set to end this three-year war in his country. President Trump was in the mood to bring peace. He said that multiple times during the conversation. It was a 40-minute conversation. Multiple times he said, I’m here with you because I want peace. I don’t want another world war. Well, Zelensky was in the mood to get President Trump on his side to fight against Russia. That won’t work. He’s tried to make it work for the last three years. Hundreds of thousands of people have died. Not once during that conversation did Zelensky mention the word peace. Not once. He was in there to get Trump on his side. You know, sometimes there’s not a right or a wrong. There’s a truth, and we go for the truth. Now, that was the objective of the negotiations with the president of the Ukraine. I want to tell you a little of his background. He was a former television star who once made audiences laugh with his impeccable comic timing. and now found himself at the center of a high-stakes political thriller. He was not only an actor and a comedian, but he was kind of a drama. You know, we talk about drama queens. Well, he was a drama king. And he speaks English, but not as well as a diplomat who is in high-powered negotiations should. And he had at his disposal – you know, he should have had at his disposal an interpreter – He did not understand some of the phrases that Americans use to make analogous remarks. I’m sorry. But analogies that we use all the time. Boy, this is Monday, you can tell. Such as President Trump was using a phrase, you don’t have the cards. Now, Zelensky did not… He did not understand that phrase at all. He thought President Trump was talking about poker chips and a poker game and game of cards. But Trump was saying, you don’t have what it takes all by yourself to get through this and get the peace that we want. Another thing Zelensky didn’t understand was the signing of the document to give the U.S. permission to unearth rare minerals in the Ukraine. Some of you may think that President Trump was greedy and narcissistic in his approach. But what if I told you that President Trump wanted to protect the Ukrainian people by deploying scientists and archaeologists in that country to to dig up the abundance of minerals that the Ukraine has. He was willing to send people over to the Ukraine to begin a scientific approach and digging into their wonderful mineral supply, and they have more than enough. And Zelensky did not see the undermining reason for wanting to support Ukraine through their rare mineral deposits. With the United States in the Ukraine digging up rare minerals, do you think Russia is going to invade with the U.S. presence there? Uh-uh. No. No, not at all. And during that time of excavation, the U.S. would have the Ukraine’s back. I wish President Zelensky would see that. And maybe he has over the weekend. I saw the ambassador just putting her hands on her head as he was talking. She was not at all pleased with what was going on and what he was talking about. Maybe this weekend he has changed his mind because he did call President Trump and say he is ready to sign. So I’m hoping that happens. And as Vice President Vance stated, Zelensky had not once said thank you. He did afterwards. He said thank you. for the billions of taxpayer money that was doled out with unlimited amounts to come, unsigned checks by Biden, until President Trump came along and said, ha-ah, no more. No more of the taxpayers’ money is going to you. And then Zelensky, I heard him say, thank you, thank you. Our president is wanting peace above everything else. He mentioned wanting peace more than wanting fighting. which President Zelensky alluded to wanting President Trump on his side, continuing the fighting against Russia, they would never have won, friends. They would never have won. I’m so grateful that President Trump said he wasn’t on any side anymore. except on the side for safety of the people of this world through peace negotiations. And he is the only one that’s given a plan all these years. And, you know, three years, even through the Biden administration, they’ve not once gave a plan for ending the peace there over there in the Ukraine. So I am I am really excited about what’s going to happen. And I hope that you are praying that these peace negotiations will go through successfully. and that things will work out with a good result, with a good result. Praise the Lord. I remember. And I’ve told you this many times, but I see this little picture of us going to Whitefish, Montana. We drove through the whole night, and it was probably 3 or 4 in the morning. That’s what we did. You know, that’s what you do when you’re younger. You just hop in the car and you drive. You don’t care about sleep. And we were driving with the car. Kimberly was 2 years old, 2 1⁄2 years old. And it was the days when you didn’t have seatbelts. And she was standing up between John and me with one hand on his shoulder and the other hand on my shoulder. We were going up this dark, dark lane to his great uncle, Kenneth Wells, in Whitefish, Montana. They lived on a lake. And right in the middle of that slow drive in the dark, little Kimberly said, everything’s going to be all right. Yeah. Yeah. Everything is going to be all right, folks. Everything is going to be all right. Oh, praise the Lord. The verse that I want you to meditate on this week is not to memorize per se, but to meditate on is Romans 2. And I want to read 1 through 5 in the New American Standard. Now, remember, this is something you meditate on. You have no excuse, every one of you who has a critical eye and passes judgment. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things. And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things. Maybe the word judgment is too strong for some of you listening. What if Paul would have used the word criticize or dislike? Okay, I dislike what that person is doing, but I love them. Can you say that of a person that you dislike? Verse 4 of Romans 2 says, Of the riches of his kindness and tolerance and patience. Not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance. As Holy Spirit woos us and tells us, I want to change this in you. And I want to change that in you. Are you willing? Are you willing to take that? Oh. I hope so. In the Message Translation, Romans 2, 1 through 13, and this is verse 2 in Romans 2, God isn’t so easily diverted. He sees right through all the smoke screens and holds you to what you’ve done. You didn’t think, did you, that just by pointing your finger at others, you would distract God from seeing all your misdoings and from coming down on you hard? This is so good from the message. Or did you think that because he’s such a nice God, he’d let you off the hook? Better think this one through from the beginning. God is kind, but he’s not soft. Ooh, I like that. Verse 4, God is kind, but he’s not soft. In kindness, he takes us firmly by the hand and leads us into a radical life change. That’s what he’s, that’s what he’s wanting, folks. He’s wanting in each of us a radical life change, not what we had even yesterday. He wants us different today. Oh, and verse five of Romans two, you’re not getting by with anything. Every refusal and avoidance of God adds fuel to the fire. The day is coming when it’s going to blaze hot and high. God’s fiery and righteous judgment. Make no mistake. In the end, you get what’s coming to you. That’s why you need to lean on Jesus. As I see Jesus, and this is how I see him, every day when I thank him for his grace, I see Jesus with his arms wrapped around me. Yes, that’s what grace is. Jesus’ arms, that wonderful gift of salvation. and wonderful redemption that he’s given to us wrapped around each one of you. In the end, you’ll get what’s coming to you, and I hope it’s wonderful rewards and harvest, real life for those who work on God’s side, but to those who insist on getting their own way and take the path of least resistance, Fire, fire from heaven. If you go against the grain, you get splinters, regardless of which neighborhood you’re from, what your parents taught you, what schools you attended. But if you embrace the way God does things, there are wonderful payoffs, again, without regard to where you are from or how you were brought up. Verse 11 of Romans 2, being a Jew won’t give you an automatic stamp of approval. No. And I want to tell you this. Jews don’t get another way into heaven. There’s not another way into heaven. Another door that you can get. Door number two for the Jews and door number one for the Gentiles. No, Jesus is the way. The only way. God pays no attention to what others say or what you think about you. He makes up his own mind. If you sin without knowing what you’re doing, God takes that into account. But if you sin knowing full well what you’re doing, that’s a different story entirely. Merely hearing God’s commandments is a waste of your time if you don’t do what he commands. Doing, not hearing, is what makes the difference with God. And you can find that also in the second chapter of James. That’s a… the latter part of the first chapter. Excuse me. Be ye doers and not hearers only. That’s so important, friend. Not just hearing. We hear so much. Oh, the volume that we hear morning, noon, and night is just almost more than our little ears can handle. So doing what you hear is so important. Later on in chapter 2 of Romans, oh, and I love Romans. I’ve been dwelling a little bit on Romans 5 also, tells us who the real Jews are. Here it is in the message translation, Romans 2, 28 and 29. Don’t you see? It’s not the cut of a knife that makes a Jew. He’s talking about circumcision. You become a Jew by who you are. It’s the mark of God on your heart. not of a knife on your skin that makes a Jew. And recognition comes from God, not legalistic critics. So he’s saying here in Romans 2, it’s not circumcision that makes you a Jew. It is circumcising of the heart that makes you a Jew. If you accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, in God’s eyes, you’re a Jew. That’s right. That’s what it says here. And in Romans 2, 28 and 29, in the New American Standard, “…for he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh, the cutting of the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter of the law. And his praise is not from men, but from God.” I love that. You know, I questioned that a little bit. Boy, Lord, there’s so much about Israel in this Bible. There’s so much about the Jewish people. Where am I in all this? And he says, well, come to Romans 2, 29. Come to Romans 2, 29. He is not a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that which is of the heart. Excuse me. I want to say that again. He is a Jew who is one inwardly and circumcision is that which is of the heart by the spirit, not by the letter. And his praise is not from men, but from God. We can get pats on the back from all kinds of people. You did a good job. Wow, good for you. But it’s God who really is important. I see some of you waiting on God. So God will bless you without addressing those ungodly character traits in your own life. If someone tried to talk to you about changing some of the ways you see things, would you get immediately offended? I did. If someone got too close to my way of doing things and tried to show me a better way to get things done, I would feel like I was slighted. I guess what I’m saying that maybe, just maybe, it’s time to look at things and see your financial situations or your relationship issues as a result of your not being able to conduct yourself in regular conversations with people who are important to you getting along. It’s just like Zelensky walking into that Oval Office and thinking he needs to talk to Trump about getting things done. Ha, ha. He needs to be the one who listens while Trump and Vice President Vance tell him what’s going on. So sometimes we think we know things better than we really do. For so long, I was waiting on God until I realized there were a few things that needed to change in me before God could or would move towards things that I expected without any change in my life. Oh, I’m fine. Father God, I’m just fine. That’s why my gracious Heavenly Father gave me Psalm 62, verse 1, because I was too antsy and impatient with things I wanted done, and they didn’t happen. So here it is, Psalm 62, verse 1, for some of you that might have that same antsiness. So I will wait and trust in you for as long as it takes until deliverance comes. And that deliverance is in me, folks. That deliverance is not from the outside. That deliverance is from inward. Your perception of yourself may be that you’re just fine and everyone should love you, but you may look a bit further into your habits and routines and find that you’re a bit selfish and not realistic in your self-analysis. Self-analysis is so good. Every once in a while, it’s surprising what I find when I look inward. That’s why I need to study the Word of God every day to do a truth attitude check on my life, to get myself straightened out because… Well, because the world had a huge effect on who I am and how I’ve turned out. If I don’t depend on God, who is the creator of my spirit, soul, and body, I need to change some of my thinking, just like Paul was writing about in Romans 2. When I look at people, do I think kindness or do I criticize something that I don’t approve of? Here’s some words from a song that Keith Green sings. Like a foolish dreamer trying to build a highway to the sky, all my hopes would come tumbling down. And I never knew just why until today when you pulled away the clouds that hung like curtains on my eyes. Well, I’ve been blind all these wasted years, and I thought I was so wise. But then you took me by surprise. Like waking up from the longest dream, how real it seemed, until your love broke through. I’ve been lost in a fantasy that blinded me until your love broke through. All my life I’ve been searching for that crazy missing part. And with one touch, you just rolled away the stone that held my heart. And now I see that the answer was as easy as just asking you in. And I am so sure I could never doubt your gentle touch again. It’s like the power of the wind, like waking up from the longest dream. How real it seemed until your love broke through. I’ve been lost in a fantasy that blind me until your love, your love broke through. Here’s Keith Green.

Praise God. Oh, I love that. I love that. I’m so grateful for people like Keith Green that write these beautiful, inspired, anointed songs. And some of you may be in a fog today. You may not see clearly, like a fantasy that he was talking about in the clouds hanging before your eyes. Well, God can pull them away in an instant as you agree to a self-truth check. You just check yourself. Just check up yourself once in a while and you’ll see God’s love breaking through into your life and giving you that joy and peace that you’re longing for. The storm may be still there, but God wants you to be in peace regardless of what’s going on on the outside. I love you. God bless you. And may you know that peace that passes all understanding. It’s guarding your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. Take joy.
