Welcome to Call to Freedom. What a blessing to have you join me today. And as I listened to Jimmy, I realized the times that we had together with Darren and such wonderful memories. Darren loved that guy. And Jimmy loved Darren also. It will be a wonderful reunion one of these days. I haven't seen Jimmy for a long time. God bless you Jimmy and carry wherever you are today. The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. You are here for a special time. God ordained you to be here for such a time as this. He knew this is going to be going on in the whole world. He knew it and he knew that there were going to be strong, brave and faithful people who are going to stand with him. I am so grateful for that. For such a time as this, you are here. And I'm just so grateful for your kindness, for your friendship and for your blessing to the body of Jesus Christ. You are blessed to dispense for in him you live and move and have your being. And I am so grateful that Call to Freedom can come to you live every day. And a through Thursday I'm live in this studio at 1 o'clock Denver time and you can call me at that number that Jimmy gives every day. 1-877-917-7256 if you'd like to talk or ask a question. I know I had someone text me this morning asking me a question about a biblical verse and we just had a great time texting. So if you would like to email me, my email address is Barbara Carmack and that's C-A-R-M-A-C-K. Barbara Carmack at FreedomStreet.org. Always so happy to hear from you. And I want to remind you of the regular Call to Freedom meeting this Saturday, August the 10th. I think Kimberly may be on the way or she doesn't tell me until I get about two. She gets about two hours from Denver. Mom, I'm almost there. And we're going to have praise music and Bible lessons and after the meeting we will have lunch on the patio. I don't think it's going to be nearly as hot. I know that Fort Collins has gone through 14 days of over 90 degrees breaking records and today and tomorrow is going to be also over 90. But oh, such a refreshing rain last night. It was just gentle and just went on for quite a while. I was so grateful this morning when I woke up and saw everything green and wet. Is that meant I don't have to water? Yay. Oh, so you can come to this meeting Saturday by calling 1-8-7-7-1-877. Excuse me. 1-877-917-7256. And with that lunch on the patio, I still haven't decided what I'm going to have. So you just bring your favorite cool summer salad or dessert. And we'll just have a wonderful time on the patio. It's going to be a great day to be together, fellowshiping. I remember the pandemic. So many people were so scared. They didn't want to meet. And now we have opportunity to do that. So I hope we don't pass up that opportunity to meet together. Our verse for this week, several verses for this week. I'm kind of focusing on Psalm 145. And it's verse 17 especially. And here's from the message, everything God does is right. Oh, the trademark of all his works. Do you know what the trademark of all his works is? It's love. He's got his love. He's a God of love and mercy. So remember that Psalm 145 verse 17. And from the passions Psalm 145, 13 through 20, you are the Lord who reigns over all your never ending kingdom through all the ages of time and eternity. And that includes right now. You are faithful to fulfill every promise you've made. You manifest yourself as kindness in all you do. Week and feeble ones, you will sustain. Those bent over with burdens of shame, you will lift up. You're going to get rid of that shame for them too, Father God. You have captured our attention and the eyes of all look to you. You give what you hunger for at just the right time. You give what they hunger for at just the right time. God always is right on the task. He's right on time. All the time. All the time. When you open your generous hand, it's full of blessings, satisfying the longings of every living thing. You are fair and righteous in everything you do. And your love is wrapped into all your works. You draw near to those who call out to you listening closely, especially when their hearts are full of the truth. Oh, I want that in this day and age. I want to know the truth. So I ask for the spirit of truth. And that's Holy Spirit to come into our hearts as we're listening to these wonderful verses of scripture and fill our hearts with the truth. Get rid of the lies. Get rid of the exaggerations. Get rid of everything that has hints, hints of deceitfulness. Because we want hearts full of truth. Every one of your godly lovers receives even more than what they ask for. For you hear what their hearts really long for and you bring them your saving strength. Lord God, you watch carefully over all your lovers like a bodyguard. But you will destroy the wicked. That's a promise from Psalm 145. My confession for today by Rick Renner, I boldly declare that I am protected from bad foods or fatal substances. And don't some of you say, boy, mom really fixes bad food. Don't you dare say that. Be thankful that you get food at home. Oh, I used to, I loved cooking for my family when everybody was home. I really enjoyed that. I asked that they all be at home by six o'clock in the evening. And my girls were in band and John was usually delivering pianos and organs. And I did ask for that one thing and they were very good at coming at six o'clock in the evening for dinner. I don't think people enjoy dinners together anymore. They're just running all the time and grabbing food here and there. So here I, here is Rick saying, I boldly declare that I am protected from bad foods or fatal substances. When I sit down to eat, I take a few seconds to bless my food and do it gladly without embarrassment. I call the meal before me sanctified. I speak nutrition and health into it for my body. And then I eat, wow, do we eat well? Believing that it will only bless and strengthen my body. Jesus has provided supernatural protection from disasters, calamities, snakes and all the works of the enemy. He promised me traveling mercies and protection from acts of injustice. And I pray for that for Kimberly right now, traveling mercies as she comes from Oklahoma. In Jesus name, I rebuke the spirit of fear and I press forward into the divine life of Jesus Christ with him watching over me. My heavenly Father watches over me. I declare this by faith in Jesus name. I feel so protected when I go to a restaurant and even a new restaurant. Usually I pray before I go in asking God to bless me as I especially go into a new place. There have been some places and especially when I was with Darren, oh my goodness. We'd walk into a place and turn around and walk right back out. The atmosphere was not conducive to good conversation and the food was questionable. Even if it is so loud, you can hardly hear each other. Oh, I either ask for some place that's quieter or I leave because I came to the restaurant not only to eat, but I came for fellowship and that's so important. You can feel safe when eating food that you've prayed over. When you pray over your food, you can feel safe. Luke 10 verse 19 says, "Behold, I've given you authority over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall harm you." And 1 Timothy 4, 1 through 5, this is one I follow all the time when I'm eating. And it begins with, now Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in these last times, some will turn away from the true faith. They will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from devils. These people are hypocrites and liars and their consciences are dead and we do know them, they're all over the place in this world anymore. They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. Here it is. Here's the verse. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanks by faithful people who know the truth. And everything God created is good. We should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. Well, there's a few foods that, and now they're eating grasshoppers and all kinds of insects. I'm not going to bless them. No, worms, oh my goodness, and people eat them still alive. Oh, no, no, no, thank you. No, I'm not going to eat those. Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer. Okay, you can pass the crab legs but forget all the other stuff. Oh, praise the Lord. So remember that. First Timothy 4, verse 4 and 5. Your food is sanctified by God when you give a prayer of thanksgiving over it. That's all you have to do. Thank you God for this food. You don't have to make a big scene. Thank you for the food you're about to eat. Yesterday I read a portion of Benjamin Netanyahu's message to Congress and I would like to add some more plus delve into the countries that are after Israel to destroy it. And here's Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech from July at the joint session of Congress. The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court and this is ICC and we know that J. Ezekielo talks about the criminal court often because it's so hateful for the Jewish people. The International Criminal Court has shamefully accused Israel of deliberately starving the people of Gaza. This is utter nonsense. It's a complete fabrication. Israel has enabled more than 40,000, listen to that number, 40,000 aid trucks to enter Gaza. That's half a million tons of food, probably more food than the Palestinian people have seen in a long time. That's more than 3,000 calories for every man, woman and child in Gaza. We're treating the people of Gaza far better than they treated us on October 7th. If there are Palestinians in Gaza who aren't getting enough food, it's not because Israel is blocking it. It's because Hamas is stealing it. And wow, I do totally agree with that comment by Benjamin Netanyahu. Hamas is good at stealing folks. Another line that I need to correct, and this is him speaking before Congress, as I'm speaking to you is Israel is not killing civilians deliberately, but Hamas is putting their own people in harm's way. They have rockets and are firing them from schools, hospitals and even mosques. They even shoot their own people when they try to leave the war zone. Did you know that? A senior Hamas official boasted that Palestinian women and children excel at being human shields. It's deplorable. We know through the reading of many books that we've read and also the news that young children are trained to be martyrs and strap bombs to their little bodies, the adults strap bombs to their little bodies. So even during the war in Afghanistan, the American soldiers had to make sure that these children had bombs on them. It was really hard for them, especially the snipers, to know that these children were carrying bombs on their bodies. For Israel, every civilian death is a tragedy. For Israel, every civilian death is a tragedy. For Hamas, it's a strategy. It's a strategic plan they have to actually smear Israel in the international media and pressure them before the whole world to end the war. And Israel is full of peace right now. I read that today. The Israel is full of peace. They're calm right now, even after Iran has said that they're going to get even for the killing of two of the Iranian leaders. I should say one was Hezbollah. I got curious and I'm wondered what countries and ethnic groups of people were intent on destroying Israel. So in my library, I went to my book on God's War on Terror by Walid Shubat. Darren and I interviewed him several years ago. It's an excellent resource of the Middle East because Walid was trained to be a terrorist. Yes he was. He married a Christian woman, coincidence, and was out to prove her wrong in her stand for Christ. This is so good. And when we talked to him, he was just so precious. He was so grateful that his wife had been an example for him. You know what happened. He found Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. In his book, Walid lays out the countries that are out to get Israel and explains their history of hate for God's people. He focuses on Gideon as the warrior Messiah in the book of Judges. Walid says that Gideon is the prime example of what Jesus, our Messiah, will do during his war expeditions after he sets foot on the Mount of Olives to fight for the Battle of Jerusalem. Though it is rarely discussed, Christ like Gideon will fight against Midian. That's a word that you need to remember. Midian. Bible refers to Midian as Ishmaelites. Which means God hears. So what is this with Ishmael? Well even though Ishmael was conceived in a sinful act, God did not approve of that. God and His love and mercy saved Hegar and Ishmael. He blessed them even though he prophesied that Ishmael would be like a wild donkey. And His descendants would live to the east. That's Muslim country folks. Ishmael's ancestors have certainly turned out to be wild. They have a deep hatred for Israel. Jesus will physically return and judge not only in the inhabitants of Arabia, but also Kush, which is mentioned in Ezekiel 38. And includes the modern day is Lama's nations of Sudan and Somalia. And we know that those countries have governments that are ruled by Muslims and radical Muslims. Lots of killing going on of the Christians in those countries. And as well as Saudi Arabia, I don't know why they're an ally. Well I do, they have oil. In these last times the Bible says Israel will be surrounded by nations full of hate and jealousy because of Israel's prosperity. In the descendants of Lot and Issa, Moab, Eedam and Seer will be judged and destroyed. And those countries you don't hear about, but the descendants are still on this earth. So what if we say, okay, let's have peace your way, Hamas. Let's say we'll get together with Hamas and we'll have peace your way. We don't want to offend the Muslims. Okay, we see that in this country already. The whole concept of peace with Islam can be achieved in one day. That's right. All that Americans need to do is utter the Islam or Muslim creed for peace. Sounds simple, doesn't it? You might say this if you are weak-minded. There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger. That's all you have to say. There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger. If you do that, you will have instant peace. And you will also relinquish your freedom and you'll give it all up for bondage and fear and in the end annihilation. All you have to do is bend it to their way. All you have to do. And that's why we had soldiers in prison in these POA camps for years because they would not give any kind of information besides their dog collar number. And so we know that there were soldiers that died, that were tortured, they would not give information. Well, I'm not going to say there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger. No. All you have to do is bend their way. We invite you to accept Islam. That's all they want you to do. Are you willing to do that? In every prophetic book of the Old Testament, what we are seeing today of the countries mentioned in the books of Isaiah, Joel, Habakkuk, Zefaniah, Zakariah, etc. They are all Muslim countries. They all read and are trained from the book called the Quran. And Satan is the greatest deceiver of all. He's the greatest deceiver of all. This is the Antichrist spirit. And we're going to be reading 1 John 2 18-29 about the Antichrist spirit that is on the earth right now. This song by Lauren Diggle, you say, what are you going to believe? I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough. Every single lie that tells me I will never measure love. And I'm more than just the sum of every heart and every love. Remind me once again just who I am because I need to know. You say I'm in love when I can't feel a thing. You say I'm strong when I think I'm weak and you say I'm hell when I'm foolish. And when I don't be low. You say I'm yours and I believe what you say of me. I believe the only thing that matters now is everything you think of me. And you I find my worth and you I find my identity. And you say I'm not enough. When I am foolish when I don't be low. You say I'm in love when I think I'm weak and you say I'm not enough. And you say I'm not enough. You say I'm in love when I can't feel a thing. You say I'm in love when I am foolish when I don't be low. You say I'm in love when I think I'm weak and you say I'm not enough. Oh praise God. Who do you believe? Do you believe the word that says God loves you? Do you feel lonely? Oh God is there watching over you. I challenge you today to read Psalm 121. Talk about God who does not slumber or sleep. He's watching up for you every moment of the day. I'm going to turn to 1 John 2 with just a few minutes here. 1 John 2 18 through 29. Dear children, this is John on the Isle of Patmos. Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming. And already many such Antichrist have appeared. From this we know that the last hour has come. These people left our churches but they never really belonged to us. Otherwise they would have stayed with us when they left it proved that they did not belong with us. But you are not like that. For the Holy One has given you His Spirit, the Spirit of truth, to teach you the truth. So I am writing to you not because you don't know the truth, but because you know the difference between truth and lies. That's what I'm praying that you will realize that there are real differences between what you're hearing on the news. What you're hearing from social media. Oh, don't believe it. Don't believe it. There's a difference between truth and lies. And you can learn the truth from the Spirit of truth. Praise the Lord. Oh, I am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you astray. But you have received Holy Spirit and He lives within you. So you don't need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know. And what He teaches is true. It is not a lie. Oh, praise God. So just as He has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when He does return, you will be so full of courage and not shrink back from Him in shame. Since we know that Christ is righteous, we also know that all who do what is right are God's children. And it's a wonderful, merciful thing that God does for us. That even when we stumble and fall because of something we've done, God picks us up, loves us, hugs, gives us one more hug and says, "Okay, come on. I'm going with you. I'm going with you. Oh, say with me, friend. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. Say that with me. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. That is something we need never be ashamed of telling someone that Jesus loves them and that God came for the sinner that He would forgive him from all His sins. Every person in this world knows that their sins are forgiven when Jesus came and died for the whole world. Not just a few people, the whole world. And I praise God. He has opened the door to everyone who believes. Everyone who believes will be born again and accepted into the family of God. Praise the Lord. I'm so excited about having a reunion with God's people one of these days. Oh, and you also, I want to meet you. I want to meet you one of these days and hug you. Well, God bless you.
